26-year-old Titans Superfan Matthew Mattax was ejected from Sunday’s game due to “unruly behavior” and his level of intoxication. As he was escorted to the gates, Mattax began to yell and scream, causing MNPD officers to take notice of him. Due to his continued behavior, officers decided to take him into custody for public intoxication, but Mattax pulled away and refused to comply with the arrest. He headbutted Officer Sharpe and spit in his face before he could be fully restrained. Once at the jail, Mattax again began to spit on officers, hitting Officer Malone with his saliva multiple times and Officer Studer three times before he was “guided to a bench” in holding.

Lamontez Blair charged with using vehicle to strike parking attendant, knocking her out of chair
23-year-old Lamontez Blair was booked this week after he admitted to driving a vehicle that struck a person sitting in a chair who denied him entry to a parking lot at Nissan Stadium. When the incident was initially reported, Janet Lemnell was working a special event at Nissan Stadium and told Blair he could not enter that particular lot. She says he intentionally backed up and struck her with his vehicle while she was sitting in a chair, knocking her out of it. She sustained minor injuries, and the incident was witnessed by APEX security officers at the location. She provided police with the tag number, which led to Blair. He initially denied driving the vehicle that day, but later called back and said he was driving but didn’t hit her intentionally.

29-year-old Alvin ‘Bud’ Dupree has been formally booked on the criminal charge of assault. The citation was initially issued to him after a January incident at a North Nashville Walgreens store after a Sunday night game. He was given an extension on his original booking date earlier this month and has now been processed on the charge by the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.
Man who leaped onto the field during Titans game booked on his citations — Tanner Sawyer
25-year-old Tanner Sawyer self-booked on his citation charges this week, stemming from his trek across the field of Nissan Stadium during the Titans game on January 2nd against Miami. Sawyer was cited for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct after says he leaped onto the field and ran across it after several other fans in his section “dared him” to do it. Police declared it was a “great annoyance to spectators”.
Bengals fan punches stadium security guard in the face — Keith Collins arrested
Bengals fan Keith Collins was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday after he and another fan were in a verbal altercation in a parking area, and when Apex Security Guard Roberty Wiley attempted to de-escalate the situation, Collins punched him in the face.
Officers attempted to issue him a state citation, however, he refused to sign it so he was taken into custody.
Nurse charged with 3rd DUI since 2021 after watching Titans game — Christopher Blake Burch arrested
Metro Police say 25-year-old Registered Nurse Christopher Blake Burch is now facing his 3rd DUI charge since 2021. Court records show he had left a Nashville bar after watching the Titans game Saturday, and just after 5:30 p.m. he reportedly nearly ran into another vehicle that was flagging down an officer who was passing by and pointing frantically at Burch’s vehicle, which was also speeding.
He would eventually blow a 0.177% BAC. Burch is free on a $3,000 bond.
Titans fan arrested after attempting to bite hospital staff after ambulance ride from game — Luke Lacefield
27-year-old Luke Lacefield was transported from Nissan Stadium during the Titans Game, and upon arrival at St. Thomas Midtown, ED staff observed his extreme level of intoxication as he had to be restrained to a hospital bed due to his yelling, screaming, and making threats to of harm to hospital staff.
He reportedly attempted to bite a female member of the security staff who was attempting to restrain him. Lacefield told police he has no memory of the incident.

Metro Nashville Police say 23-year-old Preston Blake Weatherby attempted to cut the line for the men’s restroom near section 321 at Nissan Stadium Saturday during the Titans playoff game. When another fan confronted him about it once they had been inside the restroom, he reportedly wiped his hands across the face of the other man in an attempt to escalate the situation.
Weatherby posted a $200 cash bond.
Employee leaves gun in planter outside Nissan stadium during Titans Game — Jaquilla Fitts
36-year-old Jaquilla Fitts says she left her gun in a planter outside the gates of Nissan Stadium while she went inside to work during the Titan’s game on January 2nd. Police were alerted to the presence of the gun, and after a short investigation traced it to the employee. When questioned, Fitts explained she had taken a shuttle to work and still had the gun on her, so she had nowhere else to store it, as she could not get through security with the firearm.
A records check showed the gun as reported stolen. She was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with theft of a firearm, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. A commissioner set a $10,000 bond, however, she was free on pre-trial release.

#BREAKING: Metro Nashville Police formally issued Titans player Bud Dupree a citation charging him with assault of Walgreens employee Greg Butler. The charging document states “A group of subjects entered the store to shop. Some of the subjects got into a verbal argument with the victim. The subjects left, then re-entered the store with the defendant. The defendant then grabbed the victim and his phone. They then got into a physical altercation before the defendant left the location. Due to the victim being assaulted, the defendant is being charged with assault-fear of bodily injury.” Dupree will report for booking on the citation within three weeks.
Titans fan brandishes gun when Dolphins fans attack car outside Nissan Stadium — Austin Morris arrested
Metro Nashville Police say Miami Dolphins fans were hitting and kicking a Nissan Altima and taunting the four Titans fans inside the vehicle just before 3 p.m. Sunday outside Nissan Stadium. That’s when 27-year-old Austin Morris emerged from the passenger seat of the vehicle and brandished a black handgun at the individuals in the Dolphins jerseys.
Morris remained in the middle of the street and appeared heavily intoxicated. Officers additionally located an open bottle of liquor where he had been sitting, and he admitted to having several drinks during the game. Morris was charged with possession of a weapon under the influence and transported to booking.
After Glenn Funk lets him walk on first charge, Colin Beason charged with stealing from another employer
28-year-old Colin Beason has, once again, been caught doing return fraud at a retail store that employed him. In 2019, we covered his felony theft arrest for pocketing $1800 in cash from fraudulent returns from GameStop. District Attorney Glenn Funk agreed to give him a deferred judgment with no conviction for that charge, and he moved on without a guilty plea on his record. Beason now works for Locker Room by Lids at Opry Mills Mall. Earlier this week, the store notified Metro Police they had determined Beason had stolen $4,718.30 in cash from fraudulent returns. Beason signed a confession in the case, and because of the prior deal with DA Funk, has no prior conviction. Beason, who studied finance at MTSU, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with felony theft, and is free on a $2,500 bond.
Two charged in burglary of Titans’ Headquarters — Jack Glosson & Jorge Corrales
24-year-old Jack Glosson & 29-year-old Jorge Corrales are each charged with felony burglary of the Titan’s headquarters at 460 Great Circle Road. Video shows the pair entering the location on the 10th and taking multiple items from the building. Both confessed during an interview, and are free on pre-trial release.
Another football fan arrested for being too intoxicated at Titans’ game – Taylor Denney
MNPD Officer Megan Arnett made a second arrest of an intoxicated person at the Titans’ game Sunday… 31-year-old Taylor Denney was reportedly causing a scene inside the stadium, having trouble standing on his own, and refused to leave on his own, so she took him into custody and charged him with #PublicIntoxication. Denney was also flagged to serve the full eight-hour hold before being released.

27-year-old Justin Oakley was charged with #DUI Sunday after crashing his vehicle in the parking lot of Nissan Stadium after the game. He admitted to consuming “4 shots of Bacardi” from a bottle found in the vehicle. He consented to a breathalyzer, on which he blew a 0.257 BAC, more than 3 times the legal limit in Tennessee. Oakley, from Hermitage, is free on pre-trial release, spending less than 3 hours in jail.
