Teens charged with joyriding & unauthorized use of vehicle —Daniel Meadows & Christian Bigsby

On Tuesday, MNPD’s Violent Crimes Task Force began tracking a vehicle that was reported stolen by Andrew Minge. It was initially located at 95 White Bridge Pike, but detectives observed it move to Kroger at 4560 Harding Pike. Officers were able to take all occupants into custody as they exited the vehicle. 18-year-old Christian Bigsby was in the vehicle and was charged with joyriding. 18-year-old Daniel Meadows was also in the vehicle and is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, contributing to the delinquency of a minor who was also in the vehicle, and illegal possession of a handgun found on him during a search.

Teen found in stolen car that breaks down hours later; mom says not so fast, son — Zyon Webb

18-year-old Zyon Webb is charged with felony automobile theft after police responded to a vehicle blocking a lane of travel while having mechanical issues. They found the 18-year-old driving a 2014 Nissan Quest registered to a Josefina Sosa. Webb told the officer he had just purchased the vehicle this morning, however, his mother was also at the scene, and she told officers Webb had no financial means to purchase a vehicle, and there’s no way this vehicle could be his. After police were able to make contact with the vehicle owner, she confirmed the vehicle had been stolen from Antioch. Webb was booked on the outstanding warrant Thursday and remains jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Antioch man in stolen car attempts to rob Exxon Hi-Road in Clarksville

19-year-old Montavius Bass was charged with robbery and evading arrest after he told someone at the Exxon Hi-Road in Clarksville that he wanted $80 and free gas and when it was refused, he said they had ten seconds to give it to him and he started counting down. He was found to be in a stolen car and ran when marijuana fell out of his pocket during questioning by police.
