Jesus Jurarez cited after reckless driving and loud muffler on Nolensville Pike

21-year-old Jesus Jurarez was cited on five charges on January 7 as he drove his 2015 Camaro on Nolensville Road with a very loud exhaust as he passed a marked patrol car while accelerating recklessly. He was swerving between lanes, and a traffic stop was initiated. Jurarez had no license, no insurance, and an open beer in the vehicle. He passed field sobriety tests with only minor indications of impairment. He was issued state citations and was booked on them this week.

Model Malik Perry breaks boyfriend’s mirror, pours juice on kitchen floor during argument

21-year-old Malik Perry and his boyfriend, LaQuest Ware, were in a heated argument at 9 a.m. on January 31. Malik reportedly pushed Ware, tore up their shared apartment, and poured juice all over the kitchen floor, which was observed by responding officers. A mirror belonging to Ware was also destroyed by Malik in a fit of rage. Malik admitted the mirror solely belonged to his boyfriend and that he destroyed it. Perry was taken into custody and charged with domestic-related vandalism. At the time of his arrest, Perry was also served an outstanding warrant from 2020 for driving without a license.

Car show enthusiast Jose Cruz jailed for driving without a license

18-year-old Jose Cruz was leaving a car meet in his red Mustang on Franklin Pike as officers pulled into the parking lot where the sideshow was happening on Franklin Pike. Officers noticed the clear plastic cover on the temporary license plate made it unreadable and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. Cruz stated he did not a driver’s license and was taken into custody on the charge as officers were unable to positively identify him for a citation.

DUI: Jesus admits to drinking “A Fuck Ton” of beers prior to driving

21-year-old Jesus Morales Mejia told police he drank “a f*/k ton” of beers before crashing his vehicle onto its roof on Glenrose Ave Monday afternoon. He initially limped away from the scene, according to witnesses, and police encountered him a short distance away to check on his welfare. He stated he wasn’t sure why he crashed but told officers he drank “a f*-k ton” of beers before driving. When asked to clarify that, he further stated, “20 Modelo beers.” He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

Germari Jones steals & pawns the airpods of the man he’s spending the night with

Jakir Wills says he had 19-year-old Germari Jones over to sleep at his house on September 24th & 25th. After Jones left, he was unable to locate his AirPods. Using the tracker feature, he pinpointed them to be at the Easy Pawn on Dickerson Pike. Police contacted the pawn shop, which provided a copy of the ID used to pawn the AirPods, which belonged to Gemari Jones. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Jones and was served on him Tuesday after he was in a traffic collision, and his name was run through the police database.

Elder Eli Milla-Rodriguez admits to reselling marijuana & edibles during traffic stop

Police conducted a traffic stop on 18-year-old Elder Eli Milla-Rodriguez just after noon on Monday when he failed to stop fully at an Antioch stop sign. More interestingly to the officer watching was that he stopped at a driveway just before the stop sign, where a female was standing at the end of the driveway, to whom he sold marijuana through the passenger side window. As the traffic stop was conducted, the officer reportedly smelled marijuana, and Elder advised he had a firearm in the vehicle when told a search would be conducted. Officers found 30.4 grams of marijuana, a Glock 22 with a drum-style magazine. Elder told police he routinely buys marijuana and edibles by the ounce and resells them, and carries the firearm for protection.

Marqueze Boyd jailed after fleeing a traffic stop in November

21-year-old Marqueze Boyd was booked Sunday on an outstanding warrant charging him with felony evading arrest with a motor vehicle. The charge stems from an attempted November traffic stop when Boyd was driving a white Dodge Charger with Reginald Harding as his passenger. Officers observed a fake temporary tag and erratic driving and were attempting to conduct a traffic stop when Boyd fled the scene as officers approached the vehicle.

Dematheus Burns pulls gun on man who backed into his vehicle, demands immediate payment

18-year-old Dematheus Burns was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police say someone accidentally backed into his vehicle in an apartment parking lot. In response, Burns exited his vehicle, produced a handgun, aimed it at the other driver, Roger Alexander III, and demanded immediate payment for the damages. A female in the car, believed to be Alexis Hill, the sister of Burns, was also present. Over the next several days, Hill also contacted the victim by phone and text demanding immediate direct payment.
