Braden Clark says he had just turned on the shower and was about to get in when his girlfriend, 20-year-old Breanna ‘Bree’ Durrenberg, began pounding on the bathroom door, pushed her way inside, and began screaming and assaulting him. When police located him at the Century Farms Emergency Department next door to the apartment complex, he was beaten and bruised, including a black eye from being punched and a bleeding cut to the back of his head where he was attacked with a glass cologne bottle. It was unclear what prompted the attack.

31-year-old tourist Justin Bolla faces a Class C felony vandalism charge after police say he was walking in downtown Nashville when he suddenly punched a hole through the front storefront window of Betty’s Boots on Broadway. Police reviewed security footage and charged the Massachusetts tourist with felony vandalism after the custom window was estimated at $12,000 to repair. His friend with him, Kevin Gately, was additionally charged with public intoxication.

Tourist shatters & destroys door at Honky Tonk Central when he can’t get inside — Jack Charrlin

24-year-old Jack Charrlin, of Highland Park, IL, is charged with felony vandalism after police say he pounded on the glass door side exit door of Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville until it was completely shattered and destroyed. Bouncer Brandon Valentin says Charrlin was pulling on the exit door from the outside, increasingly becoming more agitated he could not enter through the side door.

Charrlin eventually started hitting the door until it shattered. He was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail and is free on a $3,500 cash bond.

Pulaski man charged with brutal assault of girlfriend in downtown hotel $25K bond — Harry Brandon Russell

32-year-old Harry Brandon Russell, of Pulaski, is charged with felony aggravated assault/strangulation after police say grabbed his girlfriend, Shelbey Ebersole, inside a room of the downtown Holiday Inn Express in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day. The victim’s brother eventually had to pull Russell off of her after he slammed her into the wall of a bathroom and used both his hands to strangle her until she was unable to breathe and could no longer call for help.

The argument reportedly started after he felt she came back to the room late and wasn’t answering her phone. Russell is free on a $25,000 bond.

Man charged in kidnapping & assault of ex-boyfriend after finding him with another man — Darren Thompson

Trent Marsh says he was asleep inside his Donelson apartment, with Trevante Rogers, when his ex-boyfriend, 28-year-old Darren Thompson suddenly appeared inside the bedroom at 1 a.m. on December 21st. Darrent was reportedly yelling and screaming and refused to leave the home, which he never lived at previously. Trent attempted to leave the location to prevent further conflict, however, when he entered his bathroom/walk-in closet area he was followed by Darren, and prevented him from leaving the room. The two grappled and eventually Trent was able to escape with Trevante.

They returned an hour later to find the apartment was ransacked with damage to all the screens and electronics in the home and an iPad that was now missing. It was pinged to Darren’s home, and home security cameras captured the entire incident. Darren Thompson is charged with aggravated burglary, domestic assault, kidnapping, theft, and vandalism. A commissioner set a $61,000 bond, then he was freed on the pre-trial release program by the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.

18-year-old Aleena McCrary was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Thursday after she appeared at the home of her ex-boyfriend, and carved the words “DIE B**CH” into the passenger side of his car. As her ex-boyfriend, Kendrick Alexander, came outside and began to argue with her she grabbed a hammer and chased him around the vehicle, and smashed out a window. She also demanded the female who was at the residence, Latoya Moore, to come outside and fight her, and punched her at the door. McCrary is charged with felony vandalism, assault, and felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She is free on a $12,500 bond.

Teen found in stolen car that breaks down hours later; mom says not so fast, son — Zyon Webb

18-year-old Zyon Webb is charged with felony automobile theft after police responded to a vehicle blocking a lane of travel while having mechanical issues. They found the 18-year-old driving a 2014 Nissan Quest registered to a Josefina Sosa. Webb told the officer he had just purchased the vehicle this morning, however, his mother was also at the scene, and she told officers Webb had no financial means to purchase a vehicle, and there’s no way this vehicle could be his. After police were able to make contact with the vehicle owner, she confirmed the vehicle had been stolen from Antioch. Webb was booked on the outstanding warrant Thursday and remains jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Woman ‘steps through the windshield’ of another woman’s car #destroyed — April Shante Cantrell

25-year-old April Shante Cantrell was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Wednesday on an outstanding felony vandalism warrant from September. An arrest warrant shows she went to the Overlook Ridge Apartments with her sister, Lete Cantrell, along with four other individuals, and beat on the door of Jameshia Jones, who was inside her apartment. Video footage then reportedly shows April walking on top of Jameshia’s 2013 Hyundai Sonata and stepping through the front windshield, destroying it, and ripping off the license plate before fleeing with the others. A repair estimate of $5,006.44 was provided to detectives and a warrant was issued for her arrest. She is free on a $10,000 bond.

19-year-old Tonisha Mitchell was booked on an outstanding warrant Tuesday, charging her with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury. Court documents reveal she was identified after she arrived at the Madison Police Precinct to retrieve property she lost during an altercation at Walmart. During that altercation, she and her boyfriend confronted a store employee they had ongoing issues with as he was clocking out. As her boyfriend began to assault the victim, identified as Tavarius Cameron, Tonisha reportedly swung a hammer at the victim, and when someone took the hammer from her she took the box cutter from the victim’s pants and sliced him with it. The victim suffered lacerations to his head requiring stitches. Tonisha Mitchell is jailed in lieu of a $150,000 bond.

Woman ‘destroys’ car of her baby daddy while it’s at downtown dealership — Jamya Fowler arrested

Downtown Nashville Nissan called Reggie Pitts on November 17th to tell him a female in a Chevy Malibu had just pulled up and was “destroying” his vehicle at their service center. He immediately recognized the description of the female as that of his former lover, and baby’s mother, 21-year-old Jamya Ashanti Fowler. She had fled the scene by the time the victim and police arrived, however, security footage captured the entire event, showing her striking and destroying multiple parts of the vehicle with various objects. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was booked on the felony vandalism charge on 11/23. She is free on a $5,000 bond.

Nashville Booster charged in theft of almost $5,000 worth of Titans Jerseys from Pro Shop — Orlexus Elliott

23-year-old #BoosterClub member Orlexus Elliott is charged in the theft of $4,720 worth of Titans Jerseys from the pro shop on November 5th. Orlexus and another female, whose arrest is pending, entered the Titans Pro Shop at 1 Titans way earlier this month, grabbed all the jerseys they could, and fled the store, fleeing in a black Nissan Murano convertible. Nashville has a thriving underground of ‘boosters’ who steal racks of items from stores to sell online.

As soon as police initially interviewed Elliott about this theft, she removed the stolen items from her social media, where she had the jerseys listed for sale, and offered to arrange to have them returned. Police gave her time to do that, however, she never followed through. She was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Thursday, charged with felony theft. She is free on a $2,500 bond.

48-year-old Donna Williams suffered multiple injuries after her twin brother had to defend himself against her when she attacked him with a taser, a pocket knife, and eventually stabbed him with a large silver salad mixing fork. She was visiting the brother when court records show they “indulged in the consumption of alcoholic beverages” which lead to an argument about past family issues. TSU Police charge two teens with felonies for 75 grams of marijuana on campus — General Jai Lynch & Jordan Bowers

TSU Campus Police Officer responded to the back of Wilson Hall on the TSU Campus Saturday afternoon, where he says she smelled “an odor of marijuana” coming from a vehicle, which was occupied by 19-year-old General Jaire Lynch and 18-year-old Jordan Bowers. Both teens admitted to being in possession of a bag of weed and displayed them to the officers. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and recovered one smoked blunt, one non-smoked blunt, and each teen’s bag, which all totaled 75 grams of marijuana. The teens were each charged with felony possession with intent to distribute and are free on pre-trial release.

53-year-old Deborah Scales took a DNA test which revealed the man she believed to have been her biological father her entire life was not her real father. Extremely upset, she confronted her mother about the results while assisting her with rice water therapy, as her father had just died. Court records and an investigation by Adult Protective Services reveal she threw the warm rice water on her mother, set off her LifeAlert bracelet during a physical struggle, and threatened to punch her elderly mother if she told the LifeAlert operator anything was wrong. She then took $10,000 from her mother’s bank account. She is charged with felony theft, interference with a 911 call, and domestic assault. She is free on a $29,000 bond.

27-year-old Connor House is free on a $30,000 bond, charged with the felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon of two bouncers at Rebar Midtown. Shane Jenkins and Noah Cahours say House threw and shattered a beer bottle, causing them both to sustain visible injuries. They detained him after a brief chase, until police arrived.

At the time of this arrest, Connor House was free on a $15,000 bond from A Around the Clock Bonding after causing $17,000 of damage to his parent’s home when they locked him out. At the time of that arrest, he was also free on another $17,000 bond with the same company, after two domestic assaults on his girlfriend.

24-year-old Michael Strini was found in Downtown Nashville late Saturday night inside a car that didn’t belong to him, which he had destroyed by smashing the windshield, driver’s window, and mirror. Police say he was sweating profusely on a cool, rainy night, and left multiple dents and bloody body prints on the vehicle. He told police he had been “drinking heavily”, and later posted a $2,000 cash bond. Strini recently moved to Spring Hill, TN, where he noted on social media he was “visiting Nashville for a few months”.

27-year-old TravarYarber met Milan McDaniel at a Mapco in Madison to sell him some marijuana. When the two argued over the price for the quality and quantity presented, Yarber retrieved a gun to rob the man and shot him in the face, with the bullet lodging in his brain. The victim survived and is recovering well. A warrant was issued for Yarber’s arrest, and he was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail earlier this week. He is jailed in lieu of a $262,500 bond.
