Conor McNamara charged with late-night DUI just days after turning 21

Late Friday night, 21-year-old Conor McNamara crashed his vehicle onto the sidewalk on 4th Ave South just near the Nashville City Cemetary. McNamara freely admitted he didn’t have a valid license to drive and that he consumed “one beer” about fifteen minutes prior to driving. Officers say he performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.098% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Conor is the son of Sean McNamara, the owner of McNamara’s Irish Pub.

DUI: Ariel Thomas says she took Percocet & swigs from Paul Masson whiskey bottle

23-year-old Ariel Thomas was stopped for speeding and during the interaction with an officer, she admitted to “drinking a swig” from an open bottle of Paul Masson Whiskey, which she was carrying in a pouch on her shirt, and taking a Percocet. A second empty bottle of whiskey was also in the vehicle, along with other various open containers of alcohol. Also found in the vehicle was a small amount of marijuana and a loaded Taurus pistol. What wasn’t found was a valid license to drive, as she currently didn’t have one issued to her.

William Pearce charged with DUI in downtown Nashville parking garage

Metro Nashville Police say 21-year-old William Pearce was so drunk they had to stop field sobriety tests for fear he would fall over and injure himself in the parking lot of the AT&T building in downtown Nashville where they encountered him. Security contacted police after hearing a crash and observing Pearce backing up from a vehicle he had struck in the garage. A police report details Pearce was sweating profusely with slurred speech and other signs of intoxication. He was taken into custody and charged with DUI, driving without a license, and violation of the implied consent law.

#DUI: Rebecca Oravec found with 9 empty White Claws, 1 still cold to the touch #WhiteClawWasted

48-year-old Rebecca Oravec was involved in a non-injury crash on March 2nd, and police report her reeking of alcohol with pinpoint pupils, and slurred speech. She told responding officers she needed to be admitted to a rehab facility, stating she was an alcoholic. She admitted to consuming “a couple” of drinks. Inside the vehicle, officers located 9 open and empty cans of White Claw, and one unopened can which was still cold to the touch.

Booster ‘polite and respectful’ during arrest, police say

A car crash led to the arrest of local #Booster Kia Batey, 34, accused of boosting items from Victoria’s Secret at Opry Mills Mall, the day before Valentine’s day. Police note she was “polite and respectful towards officers” during the arrest.
