Three women were jailed after pushing $2,799.06 worth of merchandise in three carts out of the Goodlettsville Kroger on February 2. Loss prevention recovered the shopping carts and merchandise in the parking lot. 26-year-old Cristina Ion, 35-year-old Petcu Narasa, and 32-year-old Serban Anita were located nearby when police arrived and were taken into custody.

Booster Lundyia Woods jailed after being identified by an accomplice
21-year-old Lundyia Woods was jailed this week, just three days after one of her accomplices, Jalyn Miller, identified her as being involved in their theft from a Bed Bath & Beyond store, in which they each stole a $100 comforter set. The third accomplice, Alexis Flemmings, has not yet been arrested.
Booster Jalyn Miller identifies her two accomplices in theft from Bed Bath & Beyond
21-year-old Jalyn Brenae Miller was jailed this week on multiple outstanding warrants for theft from Bed Bath & Beyond. Miller was one of three boosters who each stole a comforter set from the Madison Store in October. During an interview, police say Miller positively identified her two accomplices, Lundyia Woods and Alexis Flemmings. A second warrant alleges that the week after the first theft, Miller came back into the store and stole $700 worth of merchandise.
Booster Chevala Southall caught at Rivergate Mall, tells police who was helping her
Police responded to the Hollister inside Rivergate Mall Thursday afternoon, where security had 26-year-old Chevala Southall detained. During an interview, Southall admitted that she and a male she knew as “Trey” came into the store and staged nearly $2,000 in merchandise in preparation to steal it. They then left the store and drove the vehicle to the nearby breezeway, where they could run out of the store and into the car. The pair of boosters then re-entered Hollister and began to bag the clothes they had staged, and security was able to stop Southall as she ran out the door. The clothing in the bags she was fleeing with totaled $1,743.00. Trey fled the store, and Southall provided police with the information she knew about his identity.
Lisa Disney charged with shoplifting from Macy’s at Green Hills Mall
Police say 42-year-old Lisa Disney of Cleveland, TN, went to Macy’s at Green Hills Mall and was captured on video concealing merchandise on her person and walking past all points of sale. Store security detained her as she was exiting the building and recovered the merchandise.
Booster Club Arrest: Janiyah Buchanan busted
19-year-old Janiyah Buchanan was one of several young women caught concealing items in their personal bags from the Forever 21 store inside Opry Mills Mall on Saturday. In total, the group took approximately $700 in merchandise, which police were able to confirm via the store’s security video, which they watched while Mall Security detained some of the suspects in the parking lot. Buchanan did not qualify for a citation as she had an outstanding warrant from a May theft where she, along with other co-defendants, took over $500 in merchandise from the Burlington Coat Factory in Madison.
Best Buy Booster busted — Tykerria Foxx
18-year-old Tykerria Foxx is charged with theft after police say she walked into the Rivergate Best Buy store, selected two Playstation controllers valued at $150, and fled out the front door. She was able to be identified by police with assistance from loss prevention. Once the warrant was signed on September 29th, she was booked on the warrant on October 3rd.
Angela Riley caught stuffing her pants at Bass Pro Shops | Opry Mills
39-year-old Angela Riley is charged with theft after police say she was caught on video stuffing merchandise down her pants at the Bass Pro Shop at Opry Mills Mall in Nashville. Security detained Riley and contacted Metro Nashville Police. She has a history of shoplifting, according to officers. She is free on a $2,500 bond.
Woman booked on outstanding shoplifting citation — Ashley Lewis arrested
23-year-old Ashley Lewis failed to self-book for a 2019 shoplifting citation, and a failure to appear warrant has been outstanding for her arrest ever since. On Wednesday she was taken into custody for the failure to appear. The original citation alleges she took several retail items at the Rivergate Mall Dillard’s store and placed them inside of store bags and attempted to walk out the door. She was intercepted by loss prevention and $675.29 worth of merchandise was recovered.
Woman jailed after stealing $51 worth of goods at Walmart — Skikisha Kennedy
18-year-old Shikisha Kennedy is charged with theft after police say they responded to the Walmart on Dickerson Pike after loss prevention had observed her walking around the store and putting merchandise worth $51 in her purse. Once she passed all points of sale she was detained until officers arrived. It was discovered she also had an outstanding warrant for driving without a license.
Teen charged in assault of boyfriend & Opry Mills Nike Store Theft — Tyniya Givans
18-year-old Tynia Givans was booked into the Metro Nashville jail this week, charged with the domestic assault of her intimate partner, and father of her child, James Coleman. Police interviewed multiple witnesses, including Shemeka Eddie, Walter Welch, and Anniqua Steele. In the end, it was determined that the couple was in an argument on 14th Ave N inside a car. James eventually exited the vehicle, and his mother, Shemeka, agreed to drive Tynia home. As he exited the car, Tynia is accused of grabbing his hair while yelling at him, and attempting to assault him, however, his mother came between them and intervened.
At the time of her arrest, Givans was also booked on an outstanding citation for theft, from a November 2021 incident in which she was found to be fleeing the Opry Mills Nike store with $902 worth of merchandise she had just boosted. She made it to the parking lot and hid behind a car before being issued a theft citation at the time, for which she never self-booked on. She was given a $500 bond on each charge and posted bail the following day.
Nashville Booster charged in 2020 Finish Line theft at Rivergate Mall — Kierra Hockett
26-year-old Kierra Edwina Hockett was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail this week on an outstanding warrant from October of 2020, charging her with retail theft. A warrant alleges she entered the Finish Line store inside Rivergate Mall on October 29th, 2020, grabbed $565 worth of Nike pants and jackets, then fled the store. Later that day, the store received a phone call stating that the female’s name who just boosted clothes from them was Kierra Hockett. Police compared the security video to photos of Hockett and confined her identity. They were then able to locate Kierra’s Facebook account, from which she had posted the items for sale on the Marketplace. Hockett is free on pre-trial release.
Man walks out of Nordstrom at Green Hills with $1,495 in merchandise — Jonathan Mizze arrested
40-year-old Jonathan Mizze is charged with felony theft after he walked out of Nordstrom at the Mall at Green Hills with $1,495 in merchandise he didn’t pay for. He was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail and is free on pre-trial release.
Old Navy Boosters Busted for $800 in merchandise theft: Rickeita Butler & Tiera Braden
30-year-old Rickeita Butler & 24-year-old Tierra Braden were each booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Monday on outstanding warrants from July which charge them with working together to steal $800 worth of merchandise from a West Nashville Old Navy store. Butler is free on a $1,000 bond, while Braden was required to post a $5,000 bond due to her much more extensive history.
Kroger Tide Pod shoplifter identified by uncle — Caleb Tyus arrested
23-year-old Caleb Tyus is charged with the theft of 10 bags of Tide Pods from a Gallatin Pike Kroger. An employee was able to take a photo of the car he was driving as he fled, and police contacted the registered owner, who was his uncle, Anthony Richardson. The uncle positively identified Caleb as the person from surveillance photos and stated Caleb was in possession of the car during the time of the tide pod boost. Tyus is free on pre-trial release.
Nashville Booster charged in theft of almost $5,000 worth of Titans Jerseys from Pro Shop — Orlexus Elliott
23-year-old #BoosterClub member Orlexus Elliott is charged in the theft of $4,720 worth of Titans Jerseys from the pro shop on November 5th. Orlexus and another female, whose arrest is pending, entered the Titans Pro Shop at 1 Titans way earlier this month, grabbed all the jerseys they could, and fled the store, fleeing in a black Nissan Murano convertible. Nashville has a thriving underground of ‘boosters’ who steal racks of items from stores to sell online.
As soon as police initially interviewed Elliott about this theft, she removed the stolen items from her social media, where she had the jerseys listed for sale, and offered to arrange to have them returned. Police gave her time to do that, however, she never followed through. She was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Thursday, charged with felony theft. She is free on a $2,500 bond.
Sade Harris charged with attempted murder of her child’s father using knife from restaurant “I’m finna kill him”, she screamed.
Poice say 32-year-old Sade Deshay Harris appeared at J. Alexanders in June, where she found her ex-boyfriend and father of her child, Cheyenne Turner, who was dining with a female at the table. She reportedly asked “so you’re out to eat with a girl?”, grabbed silverware from a nearby table, chased him into the parking lot, and used the knife to stab him in the stomach and head, telling a stranger “I’m finna kill him!”. Sade Harris remains jailed in lieu of a $500,000 bond on the charge of attempted murder, and other related charges. Trio from 5-member shoplifting ring charged in thefts at Mapco stores
Masi Kingston is the latest to be charged in series of Mapco thefts from 2019. He was served overnight as he was transferred into the Metro Nashville Jail. He will join two more co-defendants, Jerock Walker and Annisha Holmes, who were previously arrested, on their next court date to answer to the charges.
