20-year-old Kenneth Douglas is charged with the domestic assault of his girlfriend, Destiny Tanner. Tanner says the two were arguing and Douglas was intoxicated and becoming more and more irate. She agreed to give him a ride to his sister’s home in South Nashville, and while they were en route, he reportedly threatened to hit her in the head with the bottle of liquor which he brought with him. She says she was placed in fear of bodily injury, and police responded to the scene. Douglas was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with domestic assault – fear of bodily injury, and is free on a $3,500 bond.

Drunk Nashville Airport passenger arrested after putting hands on Airport Police Officer — Anita McPherson

52-year-old Anita McPherson was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail and charged with public intoxication after she was reportedly drunken and belligerent at the Nashville Internation Airport and put her hands on the chest of an Airport Police Officer who was attempting to assist her in finding a ride off the property after. 67-year-old Cordelia Faye Williams is charged with the domestic assault of her daughter, Amanda Lou Fowler, after reportedly assaulting her daughter with a boom. Court records allege Willaims was upset that her daughter was giving away her money to “some man she has been seeing” and assaulted her with a broom while she was sweeping the hallway. Police documented injuries on the victim’s left hand and transported Williams to the Metro Nashville Jail, where she was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. She remains jailed in lieu of a $1,500 bond as of Christmas morning.

DUI: Nashville Content Creator ‘Funsize Velen’ blows double BAC limit — Velen Lemus arrested

24-year-old Velen Lemus, who is a Nasvhille area content creator for various platforms, including her ‘Funsize Velen’ persona, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail earlier this month, charged with DUI – driving under the influence. Police say she was speeding and driving erratically, and eventually ran a red light in Goodlettsville, where a traffic stop was conducted. She told police she was on her way home to Ashland City, but wasn’t sure where she was at, or a correct way to get to her destination. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and blew a 0.163 BAC on the breathalyzer, more than twice the legal limit in Tennessee. Officers also found she had a prior DUI in 2019 in Rutherford County and is required to have an alcohol interlock device on her vehicle, which she did not have. She was charged with DUI 2nd offense and is free on pre-trial release.

Tourist attempts to use debit card as a phone to call a friend — Camron Siener too drunk for Nashville

Metro Nashville Police arrived at the Kimpton Aertson Hotel in downtown Nashville to find 27-year-old Camron Siener unconscious on the couch in the lobby. Once he was awakened, he admitted to not being a guest at this specific hotel, and repeatedly stated he was actually staying at “12 and Myself”. Officers escorted him off the property at the request of the hotel and attempted to direct him to an Uber to get to his correct hotel. A few moments later, Siener returned back inside the lobby claiming he was, in fact, staying here, and gave them names of several friends who were also registered at the location. The front desk confirmed that neither he, nor any of his friends, were registered at this hotel. Police asked him one last time to contact someone to come get him. Siener then pulled out a debit card and began to use it as a cell phone, in an apparent attempt to phone a friend. Officers eventually determined he was too intoxicated for his own safety and transported him to booking, where he was charged with public intoxication.

Man who was denied sex attacks girlfriend with blow torch & mason jars — Jaime Aquino arrested

When 25-year-old Jaime Aquino was jailed this week for an assault on his co-worker when he smashed a glass mug over his head, he was also served with an outstanding warrant from March, charging him with the domestic assault of his girlfriend, which left her with severe injuries. Court records show Aquino came home at 4 a.m. and wanted to have sex, however, Kirsten Brasher told him no. Upset at the denial, he reportedly picked up a blowtorch and began to wave it around at her in a threatening manner. He then grabbed the victim and tossed her around the apartment, then hit her with several full mason jars, breaking them on her head, causing a 2-inch gash. The victim was able to knock over a television to distract him in order to escape. A commissioner set his bond for this charge, domestic assault with bodily injury, at $5,000, which he posted.

28-year-old Kinoshia Taylor was booked into the Metro Nasvhille Jail Wednesday on an outstanding from the week prior charging her with theft. According to police, she went to visit her ex-boyfriend, Wayne Parker, and when he left to go run some errands he allowed her to stay behind as the two were still friendly. When he returned, he found she had stolen both his truck and his iPad. As he was filing the police report, she called him on the phone, and an officer overheard her admitting to the theft. 47-year-old Cheryl Holt was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail early Tuesday morning, charged with the domestic assault of her minor child. Police say the minor child took her mother’s phone away from her because she was attempting to text threats to a third party. The minor returned to her bedroom, at which point Cheryl reportedly screamed at her from the hallway then punched her in the face and slapped her in the face. She then reportedly continued the assault by grabbing and holding her wrists while she kicked her in the shins. Responding officers observed and documented injuries on the minor child, as well as the apartment being in disarray. 23-year-old Bohlt Hamrick told police he had around 5 drinks at a #DowntownNashville bar Wednesday night, a mix of both beer and liquor, before he began the drive home. Police and medics would find him extremely intoxicated in a crashed car on Riverbank Drive, where a home security camera captured him speeding down Stone Hall Blvd, striking a curb, and coming to rest in the intersection. He told police he “was just driving home” in the neighborhood, however, he lives in a neighborhood approximately 8 miles away. After field sobriety tests, Hamrick submitted to a breathalyzer, where he blew a 0.166 BAC – over double the legal limit. MNPD uses AirOne to catch a 14mph over the limit speeder who flees from them — Masi Kingston arrested

Metro Nashville Police inexplicably utilized the AirOne helicopter and multiple undercover units to intercept a car going 14 mph over the speed limit overnight. An arrest warrant indicates that MNPD detectives working the violent crimes initiative attempted a traffic stop on a 2013 Audi SUV for traveling 84 in a 70 mph zone. The vehicle refused to stop and reportedly fled at a high rate of speed. Air and ground units followed the vehicle to Hickory Hollow Terrace, where the sole occupant and driver, 30-year-old Masi Kingston, bailed from the vehicle and fled on foot. A Davidson County Grand Jury has indicted 34 -year-old Andre Gills on 2 counts of rape and 2 counts of aggravated statutory rape. The two incidents occurred in 2019 on June 5th and August 19th. Counts 1 & 2 allege Gills committed rape by fraud, as defined by TCA, and counts 3 & 4 allege Gills committed the aggravated statutory rape of someone who was both under the age of 18, and at least 10 years younger than himself. Gills is free on a $50,000 bond. Gills has prior convictions for domestic assault, possession of a weapon with a DV conviction, accessory to aggravated robbery, and multiple probation violations. Gills is a barber in Nashville who operates under the name of ‘GreedyCutz’ and uses the name ‘Greedy615’ across social media.

Madison Kroger Employees arrested after cashback fraud scheme — Zakkyah Boleyjack & Diane Colt

18-year-old Zakkyah Boleyjack & 37-year-old Diane Colt were both recently booked into the Metro Nashville Jail after having embezzled over $3,400 from a Madison Kroger. The pair initially worked together, where one would log in and create a cashback slip while the other would log in and pull the money. AFter Boleyjack was no longer employed, Colt continued the thefts on her own. In total, Boleyjack pocketed $1,080, while Colt took home $2,380 in cash. Antioch woman charged after chasing boyfriend with knife —Nisel Andrews arrested

22-year-old Nisel Andrews was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday, charged with felony aggravated assault. Police arrived at the Antioch residence on a domestic call, and both Andrews and her boyfriend, Luis Polanco, had the same account of events. An argument broke out in the bedroom and then moved downstairs where Andrews says she became “very angry” and grabbed a knife. Retired California Cop charged with assaulting two of his children in Nashville — Ron Epp arrested

Newly retired 55-year-old police officer Ronald Epp was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail early Wednesday morning, where he was placed on a 12-hour domestic violence hold, charged with the assault of two of his children. The family was staying at an AirBNB in Nashville and had been out enjoying downtown Nashville. As they were preparing to leave downtown his daughter, Peyton Epp, attempted to stop her father from driving, due to his high level of intoxication. He reportedly grabbed her and pulled her from the vehicle, and then twisted her wrist for an extended period of time, as confirmed by the other family members.

After Glenn Funk lets him walk on first charge, Colin Beason charged with stealing from another employer

28-year-old Colin Beason has, once again, been caught doing return fraud at a retail store that employed him. In 2019, we covered his felony theft arrest for pocketing $1800 in cash from fraudulent returns from GameStop. District Attorney Glenn Funk agreed to give him a deferred judgment with no conviction for that charge, and he moved on without a guilty plea on his record. Beason now works for Locker Room by Lids at Opry Mills Mall. Earlier this week, the store notified Metro Police they had determined Beason had stolen $4,718.30 in cash from fraudulent returns. Beason signed a confession in the case, and because of the prior deal with DA Funk, has no prior conviction. Beason, who studied finance at MTSU, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with felony theft, and is free on a $2,500 bond.

Intoxicated man jumps into stranger’s car downtown, gets tased twice — Baldemar Rivera

21-year-old Baldemar Rivera faces multiple charges after a wild scene in downtown Nashville late Friday night. Police initially responded to what they believed to be an attempted carjacking. The victims stated a young male jumped into the passenger side of her vehicle. Believing she was about to be carjacked, she fled the vehicle and took the keys with her. A male from the vehicle then tased the young man, identified as Rivera, to extract him from the vehicle. Rivera then came back toward the male in an aggressive manner and was tased a second time, causing him to flee the scene. He was spotted nearby and taken into custody. During the incident, a 3rd victim came forward stating Rivera had kicked a dent in his vehicle. Rivera was charged with public intoxication, vandalism, and assault. He is free on a $5,000 bond.

19-year-old George Ayman Sourial, of Murfreesboro, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday after police were dispatched to a burglary call on Edith Avenue. Goodlettsville Police found 19-year-old Steven Ellis passed out in a vehicle at Motel 6 on Cartwright Street just after 5 a.m. Sunday. Ellis had his feet on the ground, laying face-first into the passenger seat of a vehicle with the door open and his pants below his knees. He was unable to provide a room number, nor any friend’s information, and was unable to care for himself. He admitted to being under the influence of a stimulant. Man charged with assault of ex-girlfriend who found him in his own house with a new woman — Elijah Hargrove

23-year-old Elijah Hargrove is charged with the domestic assault of his ex-girlfriend, Brittnei Carney, after she made her way into his home and found him with his new girlfriend, under the guise of “looking for a key”. His roommate let the ex-girlfriend into the house to look for the key, and while she was there, along with her little cousin, Hargrove emerged from his bedroom but blocked the door, and the ex-girlfriend soon realized he had another woman in the bedroom of his house. A dramatic argument ensued, resulting in him being accused of pushing his ex-girlfriend, gripping her color, and pulling her to the ground while allegedly holding her down by the neck. The ex-girlfriend went before a magistrate and got a private prosecution warrant for domestic assault. Hargrove was booked on the outstanding warrant on Saturday and is free on a $1,000 bond.
