Woman charged with stabbing another woman with a large knife & chasing her — Takeeva Brown arrested

22-year-old Takeeva Brown was jailed on a $10,000 bond Wednesday night, charged with the aggravated assault with a deadly weapon of Latoria Wilson. Police say the pair were involved in a physical altercation when Latoria began to run away from the situation. Takeeva then ran from the front porch of the apartment, chasing Latoria with a large knife. As Latoria realizes she had previously been stabbed she stops to check on her wound, and Takeeva almost catches up with her, but she was able to escape again. Takeeva was booked into custody and remains jailed at the time of publication.

Metro Nashville Police say 22-year-old Delonta Burleson had been kicked out of an establishment by security at 2622 Jefferson Street in the pre-daylight hours on Sunday. He was described as being in a “heightened emotional state” when he then returned to the property, picked up a traffic cone, and threw it at Kylan King. Tourist charged with underage drinking on Broadway in downtown Nashville — Lane McAlister

Just before 2 a.m. on a Saturday in October, Metro Nashville Police were approached about a 20-year-old tourist from Arkansas who was openly drinking alcoholic drinks at 312 Broadway. The minor, identified as Lane McAlister, admitted to the underage drinking and was issued a citation charging him with underage drinking at 1:47 a.m. and the officers went about their nightly duties. The district attorney, however, refused to continue the prosecution and nolled the case once he was processed on the charge.

Man charged in rape of stepdaughter at Nashville park — James Denson jailed on $150K bond

41-year-old James Denson is jailed in lieu of a $150,000 bond after being booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday, charged with the rape of a child. Officers responded to a middle school in Nashville after a 12-year-old disclosed to an investigator with the Department of Children’s Services she had been raped by her step-father at a local park after driving her there on his motorcycle, just days before his birthday earlier this month. DUI: Popular cake maker found unconscious & slumped over behind wheel of car in traffic — Laquita Cole

Metro Nashville Police found 37-year-old Laquita Cole unconscious and slumped over the wheel of her running vehicle just before midnight Monday near the intersection of Elm Hill Pike and Donelson Pike. Responding officers could not awaken her, however, Nashville Fire eventually got her to a semi-alert state with a sternum rub. Police say she didn’t know where she was geographically, but stated she wasn’t tired and had no medical issues. Indicators of both alcohol and marijuana use were present in the vehicle, however, officers seemed to suspect another substance was also on board.

She continued to nod off during the arrest process, and had to be roused back to an alert state. She was transported to General Hospital for a blood draw, then to booking, where she was charged with DUI and freed on pre-trial release. Cole is well-known in the city for her designer cakes and food plates, with over 12,000 followers just on Instagram, where she posts the daily dishes for ordering. Hours prior to her arrest, she had posted “My life is like a movie, I make my own stunts”.

Patton Punch: Asyriah Eubanks punches boyfriend in face at Belmont’s Patton Hall Dorms, upset over phone messages

18-year-old Belmont University student Asyriah Eubanks was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail overnight after multiple calls from other students in the Patton Hall dorm resulted in campus security responding to a ruckus on the 3rd floor. Eubanks admits that she punched her boyfriend, Derick Staples, in the face, which left a scratch below his eye. She had reportedly noticed messages between Derick and another female on his phone, and he was attempting to explain what the conversation was about, however, she no longer wanted to speak on the matter. Staples reportedly followed her to the 3rd floor, where she resides, at which point she punched him in the face with a closed fist while he was still speaking. Security detained both parties until police arrived. Eubanks posted a $1,000 cash bond.

Downtown bouncer sold bottles of Jack Daniel’s to undercover TABC Agent — Tyler Hunt

31-year-old Tyler Hunt was recently booked on a misdemeanor citation charging him with reselling liquor without a license. An undercover agent from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) responded to a craigslist ad on November 4th, which offered 5 bottles of ten-year-old Jack Daniel’s Whiskey for sale. The agent met Tyler Russell Hunt at Bicentennial Mall in downtown Nashville to complete the transaction and purchased the bottles for $600.

It was not immediately known where or how Hunt acquired the bottles of Whiskey. Hunt’s social media profiles list him as working at a downtown bar/venue, and his citation list ‘PLE Security’ as his place of employment. Hunt is scheduled to appear in court again in January. When reached via phone, he referred all questions to his attorney.

25-year-old Cardiovascular ICU Travel Nurse Jazmen Flowers was found drunk and asleep behind the wheel of her vehicle at a Krystal’s drive-thru in the early hours of Saturday morning. Police say they approached her vehicle in the line after being notified her the situation, and she ‘lurched’ the vehicle several feet forward as they woke her. 23-year-old Ethan Burton was found on Woodland Street in East Nashville Sunday afternoon as medics were tending to his father’s bleeding face wound from “falling on the ground”. They were outside his father’s vehicle on the sidewalk, and police determined Burton was “very intoxicated”. Medics transported his father to this hospital for his injures. Ethan told officers he had no keys to his father’s residence and did not know anyone in the area to call to come to get him. Man charged with public intoxication after breaking man’s nose at Jason Aldean’s bar — Phillip Pate

22-year-old Phillip Pate was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday, where he was only charged with public intoxication. Police initially responded to Jason Aldean’s bar in downtown Nashville, where Pate says he was pushed by another patron, Richard Frederick Randall. Pate then punched him in the face, breaking his nose and sending him to the hospital for treatment. Police could not locate any witnesses or bouncers who were willing to come forward as a witness, and the victim was at the hospital, so Pate was charged with public intoxication, booked into jail, and released after eight hours with all charges dismissed.

Man taunts officers during epic slow-speed chase through downtown traffic — Justin Miller arrested (eventually)

26-year-old Justin Miller drove slowly through downtown Nashville just before midnight on Friday as a motorcycle officer attempted to pull him over for a traffic infraction with full emergency lights and sirens. Officers pulled next to him in the slow traffic, which was often at a standstill, and Miller taunted the officers, rolling down his window and yelling they couldn’t stop him, and even if they didn’t he wasn’t getting out of his vehicle. This went on for several blocks, through several traffic lights, and as Miller would move his vehicle forward, so would the motorcycle officer.

Eventually, the officer walked over to the car while stopped at a light and reached inside the window as he rolled it down to say he wouldn’t comply, and unlocked the door and opened it. It took the assistance of several other MNPD officers to pull Miller from his white Honda, as he actively resisted being removed. Eventually, he was taken into custody and charged with evading arrest in a motor vehicle (at 5 mph), and resisting arrest. He is free on a $10,000 bond.

Police use taser on man who punched bouncer, threatened to ‘shoot up’ Jason Aldean’s bar — Andrew Gibson

Metro Nashville Police fired a taser on 29-year-old Andrew Gibson Sunday as he ran from them while they were attempting to place him under arrest. Gibson was inside Jason Aldean’s bar causing a disturbance when security staff asked him to leave and he refused. Gibson reportedly punched the staff member in the face, and ran out of the bar, only to return moments later to smash a concrete cinder block on the sidewalk out front. Police attempted to take him into custody, which ended in a short foot chase and taser deployment. Gibson is charged with assault and evading arrest, and is jailed in lieu of a $4,000 bond.

DUI: Soldier ends up on South Nashville train tracks after night at downtown bar, blows .204 BAC— Cliff O’Brien

25-year-old Clifford ‘Cliff’ O’Brien was booked into the Metro Jail just before daylight Sunday morning, charged with DUI. Police were called to the CSX train yard just after 4 a.m. as security had stopped a vehicle they observed driving on the dozens of train tracks at the location. The driver, who lives in Clarksville, told officers he had left a bar in downtown Nashville and his GPS took him to the South Nashville train yard, and onto the tracks, and he didn’t know how to get out. When asked to do a one-legged stand, the soldier instead marched forward while holding each foot in the air for three seconds. He eventually blew a 0.204 BAC on the breathalyzer. He is free on pre-trial release.

24-year-old Karla Diaz, of Nashville, was kicked out of Nudie’s Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning and escorted out of the building by security.
