A family scuffle between sisters from Ohio landed 29-year-old Christina Michelle Scipio in the Metro Nashville Jail late Friday night. The family was staying in downtown Nashville when their father says he observed a fight break out between them, leaving Hannah Scipio with scratches and bruises to her face and leg. She was able to get a few hits back on Christina, including a bruise to the right corner of her mouth, but police determined Christina to be the primary aggressor and took her into custody. She is free on a $1,000 bond.

Man charged with assaulting his wife & another woman — Austin Lee McClanahan arrested
27-year-old Austin Lee McClanahan is charged with the assault of two women over the weekend, one of them being his wife, Genesis Hernandez, the other being Gabrielle Scoggins. Court records show McClanahan “got drunk” and become agitated, punching and kicking both victims. He is free on a $3,500 bond.
DUI: Woman drives through stranger’s yard, hits swingset; found asleep, open bottle of Coors beside her — Lauren Broussard
Police say 42-year-old Lauren Broussard drove through the front yard of a home, traveling to the back of the property, hitting a swing set along the way. Police found her in the treeline, sleeping, with an open bottle of Coors in the center console. She is free on pre-trial release.
DUI: 21-year-old crashes after 2 Truly drinks & 4 tequila shots at Halloween Pary — Seth Cann
21-year-old Seth Cann is charged with DUI after leaving a Halloween party and crashing his car. When asked for his insurance, he provided a Valvoline service card. Cann admitted to having two Truly drinks, and 3-4 tequila shots before driving. After urinating on himself in the breathalyzer room at booking, he is free on pre-trial release.
Front Desk Clerk lures 18-year-old girl to hotel room, asks her to ‘be mature about it’ — George Theoharide
33-year-old hotel front desk clerk George Theoharide used a ruse to get a guest who was celebrating her 18th birthday alone in a room on the 3rd floor of the GLO Best Western Hotel in Nashville. While holding the door where she could not leave the room, he reportedly asked if she was really 18, and offered to give her the room for free if she just “laid down on the bed” and was “mature about it”. 21-year-old tourist Logan Cibak spent the weekend in Nashville with his friends from Pennsylvania. While at Kid Rock’s Bar, security noticed he had a M&P Shield 9 mm in a belt holster while drinking beer, and detained him until police arrived. Pennsylvania law does not prohibit an individual from carrying a firearm in a bar, nor is it illegal to drink alcohol while lawfully carrying a firearm. Man charged with child abuse & assault; rips child away & knocks father unconscious, per report — David LaRue
Just hours after Dylan Sanford was given custody of his child, the child’s mother and her brother, 36-year-old David Larue, brutally attacked Sanford and stole the child, ripping it from the arms of the father, causing the child to become injured when it fell to the ground. Court records allege LaRue then beat Sanford unconscious and choke him from behind. David LaRue was charged with felony aggravated assault – strangulation and felony child abuse. He is free on a $30,000 bond. The sister, Christina Jakes, was being booked into the Metro Jail early Monday morning. Her charges were not yet available.
Tourist found “belligerent and annoying” while punching brick wall on broadway — Greta Runge
Metro Nashville Police say 22-year-old tourist Greta Runge ignored their commands after they found her extremely intoxicated and punching a brick wall near Whiskey Row on Broadway in downtown Nashville. She was charged with public intoxication.

“Some weed, some coke, some vodka, and some lean…” that was the response of 25-year-old William Evans when police ask if he was on any drugs when they found him pulling on door handles and running through back yards, noting he had extremely chapped and foamy lips. He was charged with public intoxication and transported to booking, where the charge was later dismissed.⠀
Man arrested twice in 2 days; argues with roommate via social media, attacks with broom — Patrick Conquest
26-year-old Patrick Conquest was arrested twice within two days this month. On October 9th he began arguing with his roommate, from separate rooms within the same house, over social media, transitioning over several platforms during the argument, with both text and audio messages, including “we can scrap!” He escalated to using racial slurs against his roommate, Vincent Mendoza, then entered his bedroom and struck him with a broom, and knocked down the TV.
Conquest went to jail, and posted a $3500 bond, only to be arrested again 12-hours later when police responded to another disturbance at the home and found Conquest was violating both the conditions of his bond, and an order of protection, which was granted. He then posted $2500 more in bail and was released.
Fashion Model charged in cologne theft from Dillard’s Green Hills — Christian Swett
19-year-old Christian Swett has been on the runways of Nashville’s Fashion Week, VIP Mixers for the Mayor, and the stages of Los Angeles, however, earlier this month he found himself in the Davidson County Jail. Swett was booked on an outstanding warrant from 2020, which identified him as the person stealing a $150 package of Chanel cologne from the Green Hills Dillard’s. He is free on pre-trial release.
Hunters Lane: School Resource Officer says 4 students robbed a teen in the school restroom
18-year-old Tyrone Anthony Johnson Jr posted a $5,000 cash bond just 3 hours after his arrest at Hunters Lane High School in Goodlettsville for robbery earlier this month. Johnson is identified as one of four males that came into the restroom and demanded money from a male high school senior using the restroom. Despite resistance, the 4 assailants rummaged through the victim’s pockets, taking his beats headphones and keys to his car. As he attempted to escape the restroom, the boys overpowered him, picking him up and pinning him to the ground, continuing the robbery. MNPD School Resource Officer Byron Boelter made the arrest
Bellevue woman lights husband’s things on fire in grill & texts “have fun taking care of the kids” — Molly Dyer arrested
31-year-old Molly Dyer is charged with vandalism after police responded to multiple calls to the home of her and her husband, Dustin Dyer. Two hours after police left from the initial disturbance call without making any arrests, they had to return to check the welfare of the children at the home, as she began texting her husband (who has also left the home for the night) “have fun taking care of the kids”. Police arrived to find the outside grill in flames, and inside it were some personal belongings of her husband. She is free on a $2,000 bond.
Woman claims she was run off the road by ex in attempt to cover up DUI — Mary McDonough
30-year-old Mary McDonough is charged with DUI after she crashed into a utility pole and large water storage tank which belonged to Army Surplus on Nolensville Pike. McDonough initially told officers she was “ran off the road by her ex-boyfriend who was stalking her”, and that she had urinated on herself because “police scared her when they arrived”. She is free on pre-trial release.
Nashville woman refuses to return car after Turo rental, disables GPS — Lindsay Stooksbury
28-year-old Lindsay Stooksbury remains jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond after refusing to return a Nashville woman’s vehicle, which she had initially borrowed using the peer-to-peer car-sharing service, Turo. She blocked the owner’s phone and disabled the vehicle’s GPS, but the vehicle was eventually located in Florida.
Connor House charged in aggravated assault of two Rebar Midtown bouncers using beer bottle
27-year-old Connor House is free on a $30,000 bond, charged with the felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon of two bouncers at Rebar Midtown. Shane Jenkins and Noah Cahours say House threw and shattered a beer bottle, causing them both to sustain visible injuries. They detained him after a brief chase, until police arrived.
At the time of this arrest, Connor House was free on a $15,000 bond from A Around the Clock Bonding after causing $17,000 of damage to his parent’s home when they locked him out. At the time of that arrest, he was also free on another $17,000 bond with the same company, after two domestic assaults on his girlfriend.
DUI: Woman blows over double the legal BAC after West Nashville crash — Hannah Coots
28-year-old Hannah Coots says she had a Corona, three beers, and a couple of shots of Bourbon before crashing her vehicle in West Nashville Sunday night. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, officers say she blew a 0.191 BAC on a breathalyzer test.
Woman finds husband at another woman’s home, lures him out, assaults him — Ynisha Williams
39-year-old Ynisha Williams is free on a $5,000 bond after she locked her husband, Medicus Smith, out of the marital home then later located him at the home of Brittney Sumrall, where she left a note on his vehicle in the driveway and waited. Once he came outside to read the note she ran up to him and punched and stabbed him in the eye socket with her keys, causing him to be transported to the hospital. The note read: “Medicus: Ha, Ha, Ha! Hope you had fun at Brittany’s house! Told you that I’m a smart b—h, not dumb… & Let the games Begin!!! -Wifey”
Woman punched in face by daughter to stop her drunken rampage — Renada Shoemake, Mother, arrested
41-year-old Renada Shoemake is jailed in lieu of a $2,000 bond after she showed up at her daughter’s home heavily intoxicated making allegations of child abuse against someone that confirmed to have not even been in the area for over two months. She attempted to beat down the daughter’s door, pushed in an air conditioning unit, and broke a window. Eventually, the daughter resorted to punching her mother, Renada Shoemake, in the face multiple times until she stopped.
Woman charged after attempting to pay for beer with hotel keycard — Laura Kathryn Kelley
30-year-old Laura Kathryn Kelley tried paying for her beer at SandBar Nashville with a hotel keycard. When it wouldn’t work, she became upset and caused a scene, resulting in her being asked to leave the location by property management, security, and police – each of which she declined. She was charged with public intoxication and criminal trespass.
Man says he wishes he would have punched girlfriend before breaking her phone — Devon Davis
31-year-old Devon Davis is jailed in lieu of a $3,500 bond after breaking his girlfriend’s iPhone. He reportedly also said he wished he could have hit her before he smashed her phone. Davis is charged with domestic assault and vandalism.
Tourist says he was “wasted” when found inside of secured federal courthouse courtyard after hours — Callan Isley
21-year-old Callan Isley, from New York, says he was “wasted” and unsure how he ended up attempting to climb a fence to get out of the secured courtyard of a federal courthouse in downtown Nashville Wednesday night. He received “minor injuries” from federal protective service officers Jason Talbert and Christopher Bullock during the arrest. #VisitMusicCity
Man admits to taking silver bars from safe of elderly man he was caring for — Floyd Cowan III #MtZion
64-year-old Floyd Cowan III is free on a $20,000 bond after admitting to police he took silver bars and coins from the safe of an elderly man he was caring for. The victim’s son caught him in the act of removing more items from the safe after the initial theft. Cowan was able to get into the safe by ‘resetting’ the locking code to factory settings with assistance from a local hardware store. He told a pawn shop, which gave him $5,600 for the $7,000 worth of silver items, that his grandfather gave him the silver bars and coins. Cowan is an in-home worker for the elderly, and well-beloved at the Mt. Zion church in Nashville, where his wife, Princess Cowan, is an Elder.
Man strangles a woman unconscious after she refuses to have a threesome — Christopher Malone arrested
62-year-old Christopher Malone asked one of his regular sexual partners to participate in a threesome when she came over for a regular session. When she refused, he reportedly placed his arm around her neck, placing her in a choke hold, while holding a large knife toward her. The victim lost consciousness. Malone is free on a $5,000 bond.
Man determined to be too drunk for Gaylord Opryland Hotel — Robert Parker #VisitMusicCity
47-year-old Robert Parker was causing a disturbance at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel this past weekend. Security initially detained him, at which time he was being verbally aggressive toward security staff and Nashville Fire Department medics, who were also on scene. He was charged with public intoxication. It was not immediately known what event caused Parker to become disorderly.
