Joshua Jones, 29, is held on a $50,000 bond, charged with making a false emergency report. Police say he called in a bomb threat to St. Thomas Hospital on Monday, however no devices were found.

MNPD charged a woman with a crime in Hermitage – while she was sitting in jail
No one performed a simple to check to see if a woman was already in jail when the crime was committed. A MNPD officer swore a probable cause affidavit saying she did it, a night court magistrate signed the warrant, and the DA prepared to prosecute it. The Office of Professional Accountability calls it a “simple mistake”.

18-year-old arrested for pointing a gun at a motorist on Broadway downtown
Wednesday afternoon, a 54-year-old man reported that a young man driving a Mustang at 14th Avenue and Broadway pulled up beside him, pointed a pistol at him and motioned for him to pull over. Instead, the victim called police, who located and arrested 18-year-old Christopher Works, III.
