18-year-old Austin Mcfarlin was arrested and charged with domestic vandalism this week after his girlfriend, Aria Smith, told him she had sex with his best friend and says Austin then threw her phone on the ground at her feet, damaging it. She says he also punched a hole in the wall of her apartment. Metro Police say his girlfriend Aria Smith’s actual name is Seth Smith, per court documents.

Mad about a breakup, Nykisha Gooch slices ex & his car with a boxcutter at East Nashville intersections

29-year-old Nykisha Gooch was jailed this week on multiple outstanding felony warrants including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism. Her ex-boyfriend, Michael Wilson, called police on April 25th to report Kisha had just sliced him with a box cutter at an intersection in East Nashville. Wilson says he was in the left turn lane at Gallatin & East Palestine Ave when a brown Chevy Impala sped up from behind and blocked him in. ‘Kisha’ suddenly appears from the Impala, broke the door handle of his car, and dragged the box cutter across his vehicle, causing several thousand dollars in damage, including denting the vehicle. As Wilson exited the car to put a stop to the vandalism Gooch attacked him and struck his palm with the blade. The couple had only dated for two weeks before he broke up with her.

Man strangles boyfriend; breaks turn-signal & wiper levers from steering column of his car — Nyitrell Debardelaben

23-year-old Nyitrell Debardelaben was driving on Gallatin Pike when he got into an argument with his lover, Jordan Stone. Nyitrell, who goes by the nickname ‘Moo Moo’ on social media, stopped the car and went into a business. When he came back outside, Jordan says Nyitrell reached through the passenger-side window, grabbed his shirt, clawed at his face, and strangled him with one of his hands. As Jordan called 911, Nyitrell returned to the driver’s side of the vehicle and broke off the levers from the steering column that operated the turn signals and the windshield wipers. Police arrived and documented bruising and cuts on the victim’s neck and face.

Trey Faulk booked on vandalism citation for kicking a car after an argument

21-year-old Trey Faulk was jailed this week on an outstanding citation, charging him with vandalism. Police say on March 11th, Faulk got into an argument with another person at a Mapco on Stewarts Ferry Pike. Despite the other party leaving the scene to de-escalate the situation, Fault followed them to the adjacent Thornton’s to continue the argument, where he kicked the victim’s car door.

Man smashes girlfriend’s phone after she maces him — Shane Clark arrested

21-year-old Shane Clark is charged with vandalism after he smashed the phone of his girlfriend, Kamirah Thomas, on the side of the road. Police responded to multiple 911 calls from both individuals just after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Bell Grimes Lane and Devonshire Drive. Inside the car was the victim, and Shane Clark was sitting on the side of the road covering his face, which was in tears. He had been maced. She was reportedly attempting to make him leave the residence and he took her phone and walked away. She followed him in her car to attempt to get her phone back. He tried to get into her car, at which point she maced him. He then smashed her phone on the side of the road.

Man charged with felony assault after refusing to follow his girlfriend back on social media — Andrew Wright

Tiffany Lea says the argument with her on-again/off-again boyfriend of two years, 41-year-old Andrew Wright, began when he refused to follow her back on social media after the two recently reunited and he spent the night at her home. The morning after, she confronted him about why he wouldn’t follow her back, eventually demanding he deletes the photos of her from his cell phone. When he wasn’t satisfied they were also removed from the ‘deleted’ items, too, she took his phone and went to the bathroom to make the deletions herself. That’s when she found nude photos of other women in a ‘hidden’ folder on his phone.

She says he then entered the bathroom and pushed her back with his hands around he throat. She broke away, and he jumped on a conference call for work. While he was going that she demanded he leaves and told him she had viewed the ‘hidden’ images. She says he once again charged at her and strangled her against the counter, breaking part of it. She says he continued the assault throughout the house, pushing and jumping on top of her while asking “Is this what you want?”. He then tossed an ottoman at her. Officers documented the broken cabinet and multiple injuries on the victim.

Joshua Lilley charged with vandalism of his bother’s car from 2020

23-year-old Joshua Lilley was booked into the Metro Nashville jail on a nearly two-year-old warrant, charging him with vandalism. The event, which occurred in May of 2020, alleges got angry with his brother and attempted to fight him, but settled for damaging the back door of his vehicle as he fled the scene of the disturbance. Officers documented several dents and scratches in the car of this brother, Zachary Lilley.

Everyone goes to jail: Carlandro Branch, Destinee Turnipseed, & Maicole Shelton

Police responded to a domestic disturbance call on April 25th to find that 22-year-old Carlandro Branch had taken the phones of both 20-year-old Maicole Shelton and the mother of this child, 20-year-old Destinee Turnipseed, as they attempted to call the police to report that Branch had pulled her hair when during a child custody exchange. As he fled with their phones, Maicole Shelton grabbed a baseball bat and chased Carlandro Branch. The mother of the child, Destinee Turnipseed, also busted out two windows at the residence. She says she broke the first one in an attempt to get someone’s attention and the second one in anger. Everyone went to jail and bonded right out… the end.

Omarion Wright charged after busting windshield of boyfriend’s car while he was seeking an order of protection

19-year-old Omarion Wright and his boyfriend, Isaiah McDaniel, who have made prior Scoop: Nashville appearances for their relationship antics, had a domestic disturbance in March, which resulted in Isaiah going downtown to seek an order of protection. While he was seeking assistance with that endeavor, Omarian reportedly came to his home and smashed the windshield of his vehicle, which was observed by multiple witnesses. There was a female that accompanied Omarion to the location and also participated in the vandalism. Wright reportedly used a car mirror tied to a rope to vandalize the windshield. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was booked on that warrant this week.

Amber Coe charged with slashing tires and shooting through front door of Ayonna Brown’s home

19-year-old Amber Coe is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism after reportedly slashing the tires of Ayonna Brown and then approaching her front door with a handgun. She then shot through the front door as the victim hid in a nearby closet after she observed her through the peephole. The bullet traveled through the front door and through two interior walls of the apartment.

California man destroys wife’s iPhone, claims she took photo of another man at downtown Nashville Bar — William Hawkins

While in town from California, Jennifer Hawkins called police to report that while she and her husband, 40-year-old William Hawkins, were out at a bar on Broadway she took a photo of a person with her iPhone, resulting in him grabbing her phone and smashing it on the ground, destroying it. She says she was taking a photo of her husband, however, he believes she was taking a photo of another man. Officer Gault transported the wife to a nearby Apple store so she could purchase a new phone, and Officer Hill took Hawkins into custody, charging him with felony vandalism with a domestic violence rider, invoking the state-manded 12-hour hold before his release.

Ali Nid-Youssef charged in $20,000 vandalism of L.A. Jackson / Thompson Nashville Hotel

25-year-old Ali Nid-Youssef caused over $20,000 in damages and over 20 guest rooms to become unusable after he vandalized a toilet in the bathroom of the swanky L.A. Jackson rooftop bar at the Thompson Nashville in downtown Nashville, causing massive flooding as the water poured out of the restroom, into the hallway, and into guest rooms below. A witness who was also in the restroom at the time of the incident told him “You can’t just go around breaking stuff”, however, that did not deter him as he was damaging the urinal. Hotel staff identified Nid-Youssef as he was required to scan his ID to enter the rooftop bar area. He fled the area immediately after the incident and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Teenager Bobby Wayne Key vandalizes woman’s car, calls her a ‘snitch’

Melanie Rappette says she went to Coronado Court to meet with a cousin of 18-year-old Bobby Wayne Key. As she entered, Key was exiting and called her a “snitch” as they passed each other. About an hour later, she came outside and immediately noticed her vehicle was “damaged”, resulting in an estimate of over $1,600 to repair. Key texted the victim apologizing for the vandalism.

Ramona Lavender: racial slurs, spit, & urine — oh, what a night! #Arrested

Police say 26-year-old Ramona Lavender and her sister were coming home from a bar when they were involved in a crash in Antioch Friday night. She was yelling and screaming at her sibling when police arrived and then turned her outrage toward officers as they asked questions related to the investigation. She then threatened to shoot the other involved driver, Justin Mathias, and shoot up his house. Once in the rear of a patrol car, she screamed racial slurs at officers, covered the car in her spit, and tried to kick out the windows. Once at booking, she spits on several officers, one of them directly in the face, then stated she had to use the restroom, at which point she pulled her pants down and urinated across the seats in the booking area.

Kristina McAllister charged after throwing chair through rear window of Pontiac Grand Am

35-year-old Kristina McAllister was reportedly upset about her recent arrest for aggravated assault and her children being with DCS when she got intoxicated and tossed a chair into the read window of a car belonging to Larry Davis. When she didn’t achieve the desired result, she picked up the chair a second time and again smashed it into the rear window of his 2004 Pontiac Grand Am, shattering it. She fled the scene before police arrived and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

August Lee Church charged in road rage incident that ended with her pulling a gun on the victim

25-year-old August Lee Church faced multiple charges after a road rage incident. Remica Brown says she was driving home from work when a person, later identified as Church, rammed her vehicle multiple times and fled to a nearby apartment complex. Remica was able to follow her and confront her, however, Church then pulled a gun and threatened to shoot her. Police eventually identified her and issued warrants for her arrest, charging her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.

Jordan Jackson charged with destroying TV panel at Nashville Underground during struggle

21-year-old Jordan Jackson was told he had to leave the Nashville Underground early Sunday morning for being aggressive and hostile due to his level of intoxication. Security Supervisor Steven Derner and Officer Charles Powell confronted Jackson when he “shoulder checked” Powell. As he attempted to restrain Jackson a scuffle ensued and Jackson Powell into a large TV panel, destroying it. The damage is estimated to be between $3-5,000.

Tequlia Cowboy manager chases Bryce O’Conner for several blocks after vandalism

Tequila Cowboy Manager Joshua Lynch says he followed 22-year-old Bryce O’Connor all the way to the Shelby Street pedestrian Bridge and “detained” him after he vandalized a door at the downtown Nashville bar. Video from the incident shows O’Conner kicking an employee entrance door inside the business. The damage was estimated at $2,000 and included replacing the electronic locking system.

Metro Nashville Police say 18-year-old Germari Jones (locally known as prettyboyy.mari on IG) was in a physical altercation with Tyler Melvin in Antioch. Prior to their arrival, Jones tossed a ten-pound plate-style weight through a glass door in an attempt to strike Melvin with it. Jones refused to be detained by police for questioning and fled from them after being free from their grip and running to his apartment. He eventually unlocked the door and was placed into custody.

25-year-old Kelexis Davidson reportedly saw text messages from another man on the phone of his girlfriend, Kevionna Pope, and began accusing her of cheating. She says he locked her in the bedroom with him and pushed her onto the bed and assaulted her. Police documented scratches, marks, and blood on her. Whenever she would attempt to leave the room, he would push her away from the door, and eventually tossed her phone out the 2nd-floor bedroom window. Police documented a hole in the bedroom wall, a door off the hinges, a TV knocked off a broken TV stand, a hole in a kitchen cabinet, and another hole in a downstairs wall.

The unwanted Christmas gift that kept on giving — Xiana Hughes

18-year-old Xiana Huges was taken into custody on an assortment of felony and misdemeanor warrants stemming from a Christmas day incident. Police say her relationship with Rodney Douglas had ended in November, and on Christmas Day she wanted to retrieve her things from his home. He explained it wasn’t a good time, as he was with his current girlfriend, Jasmine Easley, for the holidays. Undeterred, Xiana showed up and became immediately irate, letting herself into the home via the back door, and walked in on the family opening gifts with children present. She destroyed the inside of the home, pulled her ex-boyfriend’s hair, punched him in his face and body, bit him on the bicep, and threatened him with a kitchen knife.

As Douglas and Easely pushed her out of the home, she began a second round of physical attacks. She then attacks them, their home, and their vehicle, with rocks and other objects. The vehicle suffered extensive damage to the windshield, mirrors, and body damage on all sides and panels. She then rips the mailbox off the base and tosses it at the home. She then got in her car to flee, but not before she attempted to drive into her ex-boyfriend using her car. Several neighbors recorded the entire incident on phones and doorbell cameras.

37-year-old Jason Ferguson, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday on multiple outstanding felony warrants from January. Police say he entered the Nashville home of his ex-girlfriend, Alarecia James, unannounced and without permission, walked to her back bedroom, and knocked on the door. When she opened the door, he reportedly grabbed her by the throat with one hand, squeezed her throat, and slapped her face with his other hand, leaving visible injuries. Ferguson then exited the home and smashed the front and rear windows of her vehicle by jumping up and down on them.

75-year-old admits to destroying neighbor’s Ring doorbell camera with her cane— Linda Jones

75-year-old Linda Jones, who carries a homemade shield crafted from the same aluminum foil that lines the interior of her car, was jailed Thursday after she failed to appear on a citation charging her with vandalism. She believes that voices, which were reported at different times to be the voice of the property manager or the Nashville Chief of Police, had told her to destroy her neighbor’s ring doorbell, and at a later time, to kill them. She succeeded in destroying the Ring video doorbell camera, admitting to police she used her cane.
