Bradley Bailey charged with biting his girlfriend during 4th of July celebration in downtown Nashville

Officers working in downtown Nashville on the 4th of July were flagged down on 3rd Ave. N. as Caterina Boren told police her boyfriend, 21-year-old Bradley Bailey, sank his teeth into her back during an argument, leaving a fresh bite mark on the victim. Bailey admitted to biting his girlfriend, however, he says it was in self-defense after she scratched him on his neck. Officers were unable to find any scratch marks on Bailey to corroborate his self-defense claim. Baily was transported to booking and charged with domestic assault with bodily injury and a photo of the bite mark was submitted as evidence.

Tourist John Taggart admits to slapping his girlfriend during assault at Opryland Hotel in Nashville

At 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Metro Nashville Police responded to the Opryland Hotel after Brooke Opel reported her boyfriend, 40-year-old John Taggart, had assaulted her and was attempting to take the keys to her vehicle. When officers interviewed Taggart, he admitted that he slapped Brooke in the face during the argument. Brooke further told police the couple had been out drinking in downtown Nashville, and when they returned to the hotel John became “belligerent” and backhanded her in the face multiple times. Officers documented multiple injuries on the victim’s face and took Taggart into custody.

KY man Dustin Swann fights at FGL House, pushes cop in the chest, resists arrest

Metro Nashville Police found 25-year-old Dustin Swann, described as a bloody ginger with a ripped shirt, near 3rd & Demonbreun in downtown Nashville, where he had stumbled after fighting with multiple patrons at the FGL House bar. When Officer Forrest Punke approached the heavily intoxicated man, Swann pushed Punke in the chest with his hands, knocking him backward with substantial force. He also battled with Officer Joshua Zambrano-Vera as he attempted to place him into custody. Eventually secured by cuffs, Swann continued to be hostile and shout at patrons.

Tourist charged after repeatedly punching wife on ground in downtown Nashville — Robert Hunter Jr. arrested

42-year-old Robert Hunter Jr., of Massachusetts, is now charged with the domestic assault of his wife, Michelle Hunter, during their trip to Nashville. A witness called 911 while stopped at a traffic light near Broadway & 14th Ave N. when they heard a female scream and yell for help then observed Hunter punching the woman on the ground while yelling obscenities at her. The victim initially claimed the argument was only verbal, however, officers documented multiple injuries on her body and dirt on her clothing. Hunter told police nothing happened, and his wife actually slapped him.

California man destroys wife’s iPhone, claims she took photo of another man at downtown Nashville Bar — William Hawkins

While in town from California, Jennifer Hawkins called police to report that while she and her husband, 40-year-old William Hawkins, were out at a bar on Broadway she took a photo of a person with her iPhone, resulting in him grabbing her phone and smashing it on the ground, destroying it. She says she was taking a photo of her husband, however, he believes she was taking a photo of another man. Officer Gault transported the wife to a nearby Apple store so she could purchase a new phone, and Officer Hill took Hawkins into custody, charging him with felony vandalism with a domestic violence rider, invoking the state-manded 12-hour hold before his release.

Man booted from Renaissance hotel for being drunk & disorderly — James Hill arrested

61-year-old James Jeffrey Hill was reportedly drunk and disorderly on the 14th floor of the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Nashville Sunday evening. Police located him outside the elevator lobby, in an obvious drunken state and unable to care for himself. Due to his extreme level of intoxication, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

By 1 a.m. Thursday. Williard ended up in custody after he danced around Metro Nashville Police Officers screaming yelling “Su-Weeeee”, calling them “pigs”, and asking them to “beat me like a N—-r”.

The entire reason police were even called to the Airbnb was to arrest his girlfriend after she came back from a downtown bar drunk and admittedly punched her daughter in the face.

Pulaski man charged with brutal assault of girlfriend in downtown hotel $25K bond — Harry Brandon Russell

32-year-old Harry Brandon Russell, of Pulaski, is charged with felony aggravated assault/strangulation after police say grabbed his girlfriend, Shelbey Ebersole, inside a room of the downtown Holiday Inn Express in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day. The victim’s brother eventually had to pull Russell off of her after he slammed her into the wall of a bathroom and used both his hands to strangle her until she was unable to breathe and could no longer call for help.

The argument reportedly started after he felt she came back to the room late and wasn’t answering her phone. Russell is free on a $25,000 bond.

Man charged after putting hands on MNPD officer at The Twelve Thirty Club — Brian Clements arrested

49-year-old Brian Clements was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail this week after putting his hands on a police officer who came to escort him out of The Twelve Thirty Club on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Clements had reportedly become disorderly and refused to leave when requested by club security.

Police arrived to find him extremely intoxicated and when they asked him to find a ride to leave the location on his own he reportedly placed his hands on the officer’s shoulders. Officers advised Clements to remove his hands, and he did so before once again putting his hands on the officer. Clements was charged with public intoxication and transported to booking.

24-year-old Bryce Parker was celebrating his birthday with friends on Music Row when it was reported he was getting into vehicles of people he didn’t know. After Metro Nashville Police arrived to investigate the call, they noticed the 24-year-old had climbed into their own patrol car, which was parked with the emergency equipment activated. Unable to locate the friends he was celebrating with, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Police attempted to divert him to medical care, but he refused all services, resulting in an arrest for public intoxication and resisting arrest, as he pulled away when they took him into custody. Thompson is free on pre-trial release.

Eventually, police had to be called as both parties were reportedly belligerent, yelling, and excessively drunk. The pair were charged with public intoxication and transported to booking.

22-year-old Ronan John Callinan and 23-year-old Conor Joseph Lynch were reported to be causing disturbances on the streets of downtown Nashville, and officers eventually were able to catch up with them at which time it was obvious they were heavenly intoxicated. Callinan resisted detainment and arrest, flailed on the ground, attempted to kick an officer in the head, and continued to spit toward officers and in the patrol car. 47-year-old Rebecca Hayes and her boyfriend were staying at the Best Western Music Row Thursday when an argument turned physical. During the argument, she bit off a piece of his ear, which was recovered, and he was transported to Vanderbilt due to his injuries.
