DUI: Michael “Chili Dawg” Castleberry charged after historic Tootsie’s beer-chugging performance

After 23-year-old Micheal “Chili Dog” Castleberry amazed a crowd at Tootsie’s Wednesday night and after his set when to a parking garage to retrieve his vehicle. As he pulled alongside Tootsie’s to load his equipment, he fell asleep behind the wheel while parked and running. Metro Nashville Police officers working the Entertainment District Initiative pulled behind him and woke him up with medical alongside. He claimed to have stopped drinking “two hours” prior to driving and claimed he was just sleeping while waiting on a friend. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking, charged with driving under the influence.

Kenneth Zook assaults girlfriend, accuses cop of trying to get her phone number

32-year-old Kenneth Michael Zook was drinking with his girlfriend, Kelsey Gazarek, at Tootsie’s in downtown Nashville on November 23rd. The two got into an argument when she was dancing with another man. Zook assaulted the man, and they were all tossed out of the bar for fighting. The couple went across the street to Walk of Fame Park, where he admits he pushed her off a concrete structure she was sitting on. He then accused the responding officer of attempting to get his girlfriend’s phone number and became verbally combative. He was transported to booking and charged with domestic assault.

Kevin Cascante charged for drunkenness after trying to spit on people in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police responded to Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge in response to a disorderly individual who was attempting to spit on citizens in the area. Officers located 37-year-old Kevin Cascante a short distance away after he was identified by security at the location. He was extremely intoxicated and unsteady on his feet as he walked down Broadway. He told officers he had been in an argument with his girlfriend and was currently on his way to go home and commit suicide. He then dropped his phone on the sidewalk and fell over when he attempted to pick him up. Officers rolled him over and placed him into custody, charging him with public intoxication.

A drunken Alyssa McCoy booted from Tootsie’s & wraps her legs around MNPD Officer Blake Lutz in assault

Police say 29-year-old Alyssa McCoy was ordered to leave Tootsie’s late Wednesday night due to her level of intoxication. She refused and demanded the bouncers explain to her why she had to leave. They attempted to escort her from the venue, at which point she became aggressive with them, and they detained her until the police arrived. Police were going to issue her a citation for the trespass and let her arrange a safe way home, but Alyssa McCoy refused to sign the citation or provide a fingerprint for it. As officers were placing her into physical custody, she used a car to push away from them. Once in handcuffs, McCoy wrapped her legs around Officer Blake Lutz and refused to let go. As officers separated her from his leg, she began to kick him multiple times.

Luke Knight too turnt for Tootsie’s #PublicIntoxication

Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville encountered 28-year-old Luke Peter Knight late Friday night as security from Tootsie’s had asked him to leave the location multiple times and he refused. Officers observed Knight to be heavily intoxicated and with slurred speech when he spoke to them. Due to his inability to care for himself and his level of intoxication he was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

31-year-old Kaleb Spence Clark became aggressive toward bouncers when they told him he had to leave the downtown Nashville bar Saturday. Officers were flagged down and Clark says he only had “3 shots”, however, he was slurring his speech, and unsteady on his feet. He was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to booking.

Tourist became unruly & threw coins at airport bartender who cut him off — Roy Barnett arrested

36-year-old tourist Roy Barnett, of Mississippi, was drinking at a bar inside the Nashville International Airport when he became loud and unruly, and his bartender cut him off before he became more intoxicated. Barnett began throwing change at the bartender, and causing a general disturbance, and had to be escorted from the bar by airport police. He was given the opportunity to leave the property but said he wasn’t paying for a cab, so he was taken into custody, charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Barnett is free on pre-trial release.
