29-year-old Andre Randle-Virgil was booked this week on an outstanding warrant charging him with felony theft of services. Police say he met with Kalvin Marquez, who was selling 8 pairs of Nike Air Jordans. They agreed to an exchange of $2,150 prior to the meeting. Andre handed Kalvin a thick envelope as the shoes were being placed into his car. As he fled the scene, Kalvin realized the envelope contained 100 one-dollar bills. Andre was identified by his license plate and confirmed in a photo lineup.

Morton’s smelled like a good deal — until Stephen Stanton got stuck with the bill

57-year-old Stephen Craig Stanton and three friends walked into Morton’s The Steakhouse on Church Street in downtown Nashville Friday night, enjoyed their dinner, and racked up a bill totaling $1,042.27. Three of the individuals left the location, leaving Stanton behind. When confronted by the dining manager, Stanton advised he would not pay for the bill as he did not have any money. Police responded to the scene and took Stanton into custody for felony theft of services.

Robert Hernandez can’t pay $1800 bar tab at Layer Cake; assaults bouncer

Metro Nashville Police officers working the Entertainment District Initiative Saturday encountered 29-year-old Robert Hernandez who was unable to pay his $1,807.78 bar tab at Layer Cake on 3rd Ave. South and became belligerent when his card continued to be declined. Security stated they asked him to leave the establishment and he attempted to throw punches and landed one on a bouncer’s arm. Hernandez was charged with theft of services and public intoxication.

Colorado Tourist Joshua Shannon unable to pay tab at Honky Tonk Central in downtown Nashville

40-year-old Joshua Shannon, of Grand Junction, CO, is free on pre-trial release after Metro Nashville Police say he ran up a bar tab of $289.34 at Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville and was unable to pay it. Officers responded to the venue just before 6 p.m. Thursday, where he attempted to pay using all four credit cards, each of which was declined. During his arrest for theft of services, officers recovered and charged him with a small amount of marijuana in his pants pocket.

Jonathan Cordon jailed after unable to pay $508 tab at Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police say 30-year-old Jonathan Cordon, of La Vergne, was unable to pay his $508.53 bar tab at Kid Rock’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville Thursday morning. Police initially responded to the venue after Cordon continued to re-enter the bar after being removed by security staff for fighting other patrons. He kept sneaking in through a window and was removed twice already when police came to assist. They observed him being belligerent and extremely intoxicated. As they placed him in the patrol car to be transported to booking, bar staff alerted officers the credit card was declined. Cordon said he had no other way to pay the bill, and Kid Rock’s bar wished to prosecute for the unpaid tab.

Just before closing time on Friday morning, staff at Vibes & Lounge on Demonbreun called police to report 37-year-old Jose Tello was being unruly and was unwilling or unable to pay his $77 bar tab at the venue. They reported he had attempted to “run out” several times but they had so far kept him there. As police arrived they noticed he was very intoxicated and had trouble verbalizing where he was at when asked by officers. 26-year-old Jasmine Forde was booked into the Metro Nashville jail this week on two outstanding warrants. The first stems from an incident at the Storming Crab, where she ordered a $48 dinner and fled without paying, with the entire event captured on video. In the second incident, she walked into a Twice Daily convenience store and lifted her shirt to display a pink pistol in her waistband to the cashier, stating “…I’m about that life”.

27-year-old Brandon Willard, of North Carolina, was unable to pay his $496.00 tab at a downtown Nashville bar. The bartender says he continued to order drinks for himself and his friends on his tab, and then his friends left the bar. At closing time, he attempted to leave the bar without paying and stated he had no way to pay for the final tab when questioned by police. He was issued a citation for theft of services and was booked on that citation this week.
