42-year-old Aja Joblin-Lovelady is charged with felony theft after her management at Big Machine Distillery caught onto her schedule to fraud the establishment out of $2,500 over the course of several months. As a server, she would reportedly ring up food for a table but later remove items from the check in the system after the guests received their checks, putting the leftover money in her pocket from their full payment. Management caught the activity on camera and contacted police, who issued a warrant for her arrest.

Kristopher Davis — believed he was in Grand Theft Auto… but ended up in jail

20-year-old Kristopher Davis faces a litany of charges after a high-speed chase Saturday night in a black Dodge Charger stolen from Miracle Chrysler. Officers first identified the stolen vehicle on Dickerson Pike with Air One locking in their target from above. The vehicle gave chase onto the interstate, where it completely blacked out as it sped away with a marked patrol unit behind it. It continued to cut through traffic at high speeds with no visible lights until finally taking an exit and parking. Davis exited the vehicle and hid behind a school bus, with Air ONE keeping him in sight. Officers closed in on the school bus, and he surrendered.

Parker Jones spits in officer’s mouth, kicks another in testicles after fighting parents

Police say 18-year-old Richard Parker Jones (AKA rparkeyjones from the forklift video) was in an argument with his parents, upset they would not co-sign a car loan for him. Officers responded to the Whitworth Way home of Donald Bradly Jones and Beth Higgins Jones on the afternoon of January 16 after the teenager had punched his father in the face and head before placing him in a choke-hold in a fit of rage. The mother’s 911 call states her son was attempting to strangle his father, then pushed his mother. The parents eventually restrained him, but he escaped their grasp after a short time and began to punch holes throughout the walls of the home before fleeing. Officers encountered him nearby, and as they were taking him into custody, he kicked Officer Blake Langford in the testicles, spit into Officer Jared Dick’s mouth, and spit on Sgt. Ky Luu. Jones was restrained and contained, and transported to booking. At the time of his arrest, Jones had an outstanding warrant charging him with the theft of two cases of White Claws from a Nashville Mapco store.

Nossi Adriana Lamb steals hard drives from ex-lover, refuses to return them

In November, 32-year-old Nossi Adriana Lamb arrived at the home of her ex-boyfriend, Andrew Muller, with movers to gather some of her belonging. At some point during the morning, he discovered Nossi and the movers in the basement where he keeps his recording equipment and told them to leave the basement as they had no business down there. After they left, he discovered a printer and external hard drives had been stolen. He provided the police with receipts for the items. A conversation with Nossi’s father revealed she had taken the hard drives, and he claimed they would be returned after her “intellectual property” was removed from the drives. After she never returned the drives, a warrant was issued for her arrest.

18-year-old Brandon Howard told police, “I would have dusted y’all!” had it not been for the spike strips they deployed to stop him as he fled in a stolen Toyota Camry late Sunday night. He was driving a 2022 white Toyota Camry that was just stolen from Whites Creek Pike and was being tracked by its owner, who was relaying the information to police. 24-year-old Millennium “Millie” Baker reportedly arrived at the Antioch home of her ex-boyfriend, Kedron Harper, in June and banged on his door until he told her to leave the property as he was not wanting to have an argument with her as he was spending time with his new girlfriend. At 5:45 a.m. the next morning, she returned to the home and kicked through the front window of the residence, and began to talk through the hole in the window. 33-year-old Laretha Wheeler & 41-year-old Jamie Pfitzner were charged with theft on December 18th after police say they were caught on video taking two guitars, valued at $1,478.99, from Guitar Center on November 1st just before closing. Video evidence shows Laretha selling both guitars back to Guitar Center the next day. Police say they were able to identify both suspects by cross-referencing Facebook profiles and screenshots of the security footage provided by Guitar Center.

59-year-old Melissa Gay McClain pulled a loaf of swirl bread, a Clifty Farm ham, a NY Strip steak, and a boneless beef ribeye from her purse after she was caught shoplifting on December 10th at a Clarksville Pike Kroger in Nashville. Loss prevention initially observed her taking the items and passing the self-checkout area. She stated she was low on food at home and only had $3 on her food stamp card, so she was forced to steal the food to eat. The loss prevention officer, Latosha Michelle Hall, called Metro Nashville Police, who asked if she wanted to prosecute for the crime. Police responded to the Hollister inside Rivergate Mall Thursday afternoon, where security had 26-year-old Chevala Southall detained. During an interview, Southall admitted that she and a male she knew as “Trey” came into the store and staged nearly $2,000 in merchandise in preparation to steal it. They then left the store and drove the vehicle to the nearby breezeway, where they could run out of the store and into the car. The pair of boosters then re-entered Hollister and began to bag the clothes they had staged, and security was able to stop Southall as she ran out the door. The clothing in the bags she was fleeing with totaled $1,743.00. Trey fled the store, and Southall provided police with the information she knew about his identity.

29-year-old Andre Randle-Virgil was booked this week on an outstanding warrant charging him with felony theft of services. Police say he met with Kalvin Marquez, who was selling 8 pairs of Nike Air Jordans. They agreed to an exchange of $2,150 prior to the meeting. Andre handed Kalvin a thick envelope as the shoes were being placed into his car. As he fled the scene, Kalvin realized the envelope contained 100 one-dollar bills. Andre was identified by his license plate and confirmed in a photo lineup.

Security says 28-year-old Jaime Rodriguez was caught shoplifting at the Rivergate Mall on November 26th. He was observed taking a “Psycho Bunny” shirt from the men’s department of Dillard’s and rolling it up in his left hand. He then went to the home department and grabbed an empty bag, placing the shirt inside. Love’s employee Toni Dunn stuffs $1900 into her pockets and flees down Trinity Lane on foot

Police say 18-year-old Toni Ernest Dunn was a brand new employee at the Love’s Travel Stop on Trinity Lane when on November 11th, she scanned a “no sale” card which caused both of the cash drawers to open. Knowing her co-worker, Jeffery Sauvie, had just stepped outside to the back of the store. She quickly grabbed $1,930 in cash from the registers and stuffed it in her pants pockets before fleeing the store. Police reviewed the security footage and used her information from her employment file to complete the arrest warrant for felony theft, which she was booked on this week.

21-year-old Romale Grant is charged with stealing $4,239 worth of Apple products from the White Bridge Target store, where he was employed. Police say during a two-week period, Grant took 8 pairs of 3rd generation AirPods, 8 Airpod Pros, and 1 iPhone 14. Grant admitted to taking the merchandise from the tech stockroom and concealing them in his clothing or a bag until he exited the store. He states he would then sell the merchandise “on the streets.”
