Police say 30-year-old Kaylee Ruth Hand walked into the Target store on Charlotte Pike Wednesday and filled a shopping cart full of merchandise worth $1,019. She then pushed the full cart past all points of sale and attempted to exit the store when she was stopped by loss prevention. Officers arrived and took her into custody for felony theft.

Alison Krawczyk jailed after drunkenly interfering with arrest of Jack Beckham in downtown Nashville
Metro Nashville Police had just chased Jack Beckham down Broadway late Saturday night and were placing him under arrest when 35-year-old Alison Krawczyk approached the takedown and repeatedly placed herself between the officers and Beckham. Officer Begley commanded that she step back and stay back, and she refused and continued to interfere with Beckham’s arrest. Due to her extreme level of intoxication and causing a disturbance, she was also taken into custody.
Musician Trey Calloway charged with DUI in Nashville; asks police to stop embarrassing him
Metro Nashville Police & fire responded to I-40 East near White Bridge Pike in the early hours of Monday morning and pulled 30-year-old Nashville Musician Franklin “Trey” Calloway out of his Ford F-150, which he crashed. Multiple Nashville Firefighters say Calloway told them he had been drinking, and police say he reeked of alcohol upon contact. As he tried to stand on his own, officers had to catch him several times as he attempted to topple over. He motioned he “wasn’t sure” when asked how much alcohol he had consumed, and after the first two field sobriety tests, Calloway stated, “I know I’ve failed the tests already; why are you embarrassing me?” and refused all other tests.
Man calls 911 to report someone is sawing the hinges off his door; he was just high — Matthew Bain arrested
26-year-old Matthew Bain was inside his room at the Super 8 on Bell Road on Christmas Day when he called police to report that someone was sawing his door off the hinges. Officers responded to find no signs of any forced entry or foul play at the location. Bain then told officers how “Lit” he was, but was sad that he flushed the remainder of his drugs down the toilet when he believed someone was cutting off the things to come into his hotel room. With no drugs and no crime, officers cleared the parking lot and scene.
As they were preparing to leave, Bain began running down the sidewalk and into the middle of the road to stop them from leaving. He wanted to again tell them how “LIT” he was while sweating profusely and blocking their patrol cars from moving. He revised to move out of the way, so he was taken to jail and charged with public intoxication. His case was dismissed after the standard 8-hour hold.
Man bleaches all the clothes he bought for girlfriend after an argument — Daweed Malachi Jackson arrested
21-year-old Daweed Malachi Jackson is charged with vandalism after he admitted to taking all of his girlfriend’s clothing he had bought for her while they were dating, placing it in the bathtub, and soaking it with bleach. The damage is estimated to be between $500 – $700. Jackson is free on a $1,000 cash bond.
