Hunters Lane: School Resource Officer says 4 students robbed a teen in the school restroom

18-year-old Tyrone Anthony Johnson Jr posted a $5,000 cash bond just 3 hours after his arrest at Hunters Lane High School in Goodlettsville for robbery earlier this month. Johnson is identified as one of four males that came into the restroom and demanded money from a male high school senior using the restroom. Despite resistance, the 4 assailants rummaged through the victim’s pockets, taking his beats headphones and keys to his car. Metro Police SRO Decommissioned for Selling ‘Alcohol Concoction’ to school staff while on-duty

Metro Nashville Police Officer Candace Steen, who was assigned to West End Middle School as a School Resource Officer was decommissioned on April 4th, after a complaint was received from a school administrator, who reported that Officer Candace Steen was selling a ‘concoction of alcohol mixed with other ingredients’ to school staff while in uniform and on-duty during the school day.

An observant parent was the first to noticed that 20-year-old Joshua Sawyers had a handgun in his jacket pocket at JT Moore middle School on Tuesday as kids were getting into their parent’s cars at afternoon pickup. He is currently held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
