Police say 27-year-old Edward Rhoden and his roommate, Aaron McCray, were both ‘drinking to excess’ on February 12. Aaron says he doesn’t remember what happened that night but knows he woke up with a black eye. Edward says he absolutely slugged his roommate in his eye, leaving it bruised and black. Officers took Edward into custody and charged him with domestic assault.

62-year-old Maria Medina Perez reportedly and her roommate, Jennifer Sandoval, were in an argument on February 3 after Maria took Jennifer’s clothes out of the dryer and walked all over them on the ground. An argument erupted, and Jennifer attempted to leave the situation and take her dog for a walk. Maria blocked the front door to prevent her from leaving and pushed her on the right shoulder. Maria then kicked Jennifer’s dog.
David Gandy says roommate ran into his knife and “stabbed himself”
45-year-old David Gandy is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say he stabbed his roommate, Derek Walsh, in the chest with a knife. The victim says he was grieving over another roommate who had just died and was drinking and became increasingly upset as the night progressed. He stated he was also upset because Gandy had a drug dealer at the shared home after another roommate just died. The victim admits to busting down Gandy’s bedroom door and having a verbal argument over drug use. The victim says he then left the room and realized he had been stabbed. He says he never saw the object he was stabbed with but did hear Gandy say he was going to cut him. Gandy claims he held a pocket knife up when Walsh charged at him, and he “stabbed himself.”
Ronaldo Morris charged in assault of alleged lover who says he saw him with a woman
Police arrived at the South Nashville apartment of 20-year-old Ronaldo Morris and Jason Tyrese Daley in the early hours of Sunday morning to a report of the two fighting. Daley told police the two are lovers and in a dating relationship; however, Morris denied that and said the two are simply just roommates. Daley stated they got into an argument in his bedroom after he saw Morris with a woman. The argument escalated when Morris reportedly pushed Daley in the face and scratched him on the hands and neck. A video recording captured the incident and shows the victim backing away while Morris assaults him multiple times. and officers documented a cut on the victim’s lip, hand, and neck.

Metro Nashville Police responded to Views on the Cumberland, where Ashley Nall reported her roommate, Caroline Hathaway, messaged her to advise that another roommate,39-year-old Monica Spendlove, was throwing some of Nall’s personal items. Officers made contact with Spendlove, who admitted to entering Nall’s room and putting some of her things outside near a dumpster for disposal. Some of the property included a Yeti cooler and Vanderbilt coasters. The property’s value was estimated at $300.

Officers arrived at the domestic call, where after two independent witnesses and the victim were interviewed, it was determined she had entered his room to retrieve property she says she had gifted him during the relationship. He confronted her about being in his room and escorted her out, at which time she “threw an elbow” and hit him in the face, leaving him with an injury. She then attempted to strike him with a phone, at which time he attempted to restrain her from further assaulting him, which is when she says felt she was “choked”.

30-year-old Jennifer Wall is charged with vandalism after police responded to the Wales Ct. home she and a roommate share. The roommate, Luigi Bellavita, contacted police when he returned home from the store to find the security camera from the living room had been removed and destroyed, with part of the outer shell casing located in the backyard. Officers asked Wall what happened to the camera, and she stated she felt the camera was an invasion of her privacy so she removed it and smashed it with an axe. She was transported to jail and charged with vandalism.

Metro Police were dispatched to Victory Ave on May 13th on a disorderly person call. They met with Tymber Fullard, who explained she and friends were visiting Nashville from Georgia to attend a concert. She says her former roommate, 21-year-old Abigail Haley Millsap, followed her from Georgia all the way to Nashville with the intent to harass the group of friends. Millsap reportedly threw a bottle of liquid onto Fullard, causing a “slimy orange-colored liquid” to spill onto her legs, boots, and hands, as the bottle shattered. Millsap fled the scene before police arrived, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Roommate Rumble leaves one injured, one jailed — Anthony Barnes
A roommate rumble left ‘Dakota’ Caleb Hooks-Johnson bloody and with welts, and 20-year-old Anthony Barnes in jail, charged with domestic assault. On May 16th, the duo had an argument about paperwork required by the leasing office of their apartment complex, and at some point, Barnes believed that Hooks-Johnson disrespected his girlfriend. The two went outside, separated, and attempted to discuss the matter in an adult matter, however, Barnes was not being reasonable. Barnes eventually followed his roommate back up the steps to the landing where they tussled, and Barns struck him with his fists until Caleb-Hooks picked him up around the waist. During the eventual brawl, a neighbor’s window was broken out, and Hooks-Johnson ended up with welts and redness on his back and cuts from the broken glass.

Nashville Police say 19-year-old Dontae McFarlane came home in the early hours of Friday morning and found that his marijuana was missing from his room. He reportedly became upset with his roommate, Remarr Parnell, and grabbed a knife. While pointing it at him, he asked “so what are we going to do now?”. Parnell says this made him fear for his life and told them “I’m not going to lose my life because of him”. Another roommate confirmed the events when police arrived.
Roommate charged with felony robbery and assault after dispute over money — Eliza Green
23-year-old Eliza Green is charged with the domestic assault of her roommate, Bonnie Harmon, who says the pair got into an argument over money, and Green threatened Harmon with severe bodily harm if she did not pay her. Harmon says that Green actually owed her money, and she would be deducting that amount from any money she gave her. It was at that point, as Judge Judy was unavailable to settle the dispute, when Green reportedly assaulted Harmon and forcibly took her tablets out of her hand. Police say the incident was captured on a home security camera which they viewed.

35-year-old grown adult Megan Davis admits she threw her roommate’s wooden dresser drawers and contents outside in the grass, destroying both them and the contents. The roommate, Holly Baughman, came home to see her things on the ground and then the two got into an argument that even the police could not determine who started.
Due to the confession, police charged Megan Davis with vandalism and transported her to booking. She is free on a $1,000 bond.

26-year-old Patrick Conquest was arrested twice within two days this month. On October 9th he began arguing with his roommate, from separate rooms within the same house, over social media, transitioning over several platforms during the argument, with both text and audio messages, including “we can scrap!” He escalated to using racial slurs against his roommate, Vincent Mendoza, then entered his bedroom and struck him with a broom, and knocked down the TV.
Conquest went to jail, and posted a $3500 bond, only to be arrested again 12-hours later when police responded to another disturbance at the home and found Conquest was violating both the conditions of his bond, and an order of protection, which was granted. He then posted $2500 more in bail and was released.

30-year-old Alex Wilhelm reportedly shoved his roommate, Mitch Hoger, who was “screaming in his face”. He then spun him to the ground and punched him to “make the fight stop” according to court documents. Hoger suffered bruises and cuts to his face, which were documented by police.
