24-year-old Tyche Lewis was arrested for a shooting in a gas station parking lot. On the 25th, officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting on West Creek Pike. Officers spoke with the victim (Quintin Couch), the passenger of the vehicle. They were trying to back into a parking spot at a gas station, and Lewis was speeding past them and had to stop quickly to avoid hitting their car. Couch started recording once Lewis started yelling as she was driving by. She pulled a gun out and pointed it at Couch. She yelled, ” I’M GOING TO SHOOT YOU, AND I DON’T CARE IF YOU CALL THE POLICE BECAUSE I AIN’T SCARED OF THEM!” After making that statement, she put a live round in the chamber and fired one shot in their direction before driving away. Officers looked up the license plate number provided from the video to get her contact information. Officers pulled up to Lewis’ home and also learned that her license had been revoked. She was then placed into custody.

Kristopher Davis — believed he was in Grand Theft Auto… but ended up in jail
20-year-old Kristopher Davis faces a litany of charges after a high-speed chase Saturday night in a black Dodge Charger stolen from Miracle Chrysler. Officers first identified the stolen vehicle on Dickerson Pike with Air One locking in their target from above. The vehicle gave chase onto the interstate, where it completely blacked out as it sped away with a marked patrol unit behind it. It continued to cut through traffic at high speeds with no visible lights until finally taking an exit and parking. Davis exited the vehicle and hid behind a school bus, with Air ONE keeping him in sight. Officers closed in on the school bus, and he surrendered.
Janel Holley calls 911 to report she shot an attacker… who police say didn’t exist
31-year-old Janel Holley was jailed this week after police say she lied about a shooting call at Willie B’s Express location in Antioch. The initial incident occurred on November 25 when Holley called 911 and reported she had been attacked and shot her attacker in self-defense. It was later learned that there was no attacker, and Holly was upset and discharged her firearm multiple times in a parking lot amid a crowd of people.
Eric Estrada charged with sexual battery of teenage girl while his girlfriend slept in their bed
A 17-year-old girl says 21-year-old Eric Estrada was drinking Friday night and crawled onto the couch where she was sleeping and began to touch and kiss her while pointing a gun at her head and stomach. She says she was eventually able to push him away and run to the bathroom, where she screamed for help and then ran to the bedroom where Estrada’s girlfriend, Yenis Betancourth, and infant daughter were sleeping. A gunshot was then heard and reported by multiple people in the area. Officers took Estrada into custody and recovered a loaded Glock 19.
Marquita Lindsey charged in movie-plot level harassment of ex-boyfriend
36-year-old Marquita Lindsley is charged with the harassment of her ex-boyfriend, Cory Roberts, with whom her three-year relationship recently ended. Roberts told police that he was at his Priest Woods residence when the power was suddenly turned off at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, and when he looked outside, he noticed a maroon GMC Terrain parked near his house, and he assumed Lindsley was around his home as she had been attempting to communicate with him via any means possible. After the electricity was cut off, his phone began to ring, and it was Lindsley’s number, then a blocked number, then a facetime call, all belonging to Lindsley. She called him 33 times in the next hour before the police arrived. Officers located Lindsley as she attempted to flee the scene and charged her with harassment along with two outstanding felony warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Bradford Millham forces wrong car off interstate in road rage incident on I-24
Police say 63-year-old Bradford Millham was driving on I-24 when he forced a BMW, driven by Rilei Hill, off the road toward an embankment and then blocked her from getting back onto the interstate, causing her to be in fear for her life. Officers arrived, and Millham stated a vehicle had struck his vehicle on the left rear side, and when he looked up, the only vehicle in his sight was the victims. The white paint transfer on his vehicle did not match the dark color of the victim’s BMW. In his road rage, Millham had identified the wrong car and forced an innocent victim off the roadway with his car. He was charged with felony aggravated assault with a vehicle (reckless endangerment) and transported to booking.
Lucas Sosa, 38, charged with drag racing in his Ford F-150 truck in Antioch
Police say 38-year-old Lucas Sosa was drag racing his blue 2013 Ford F-150 against another pickup truck on Antioch Pike on June 18th, but the observing officer was too far back in traffic to conduct a traffic stop initially. Both trucks were caught by a red light traffic signal a short time later, and the officer was able to catch up and observed them drag racing a second time. The other vehicle slowed down and ceased racing; however, Sosa continued speeding through traffic and weaving around other vehicles until he was stopped.
Brooklyn Campbell attempts to run over & shoots at her boyfriend during breakup
20-year-old Brooklyn Campbell was amid a breakup with her boyfriend, Carl (CJ) Hollingsworth, in May when they began to fight over a cell phone. Police say Brooklyn attempted to run over her ex-lover with her 2020 Altima while threatening to shoot up the area, however, he escaped by running in between two parked vehicles. She continued to plow into one of the parked vehicles, undeterred by his attempt to run away. She then pulled a handgun and fired it out the driver’s side window with several people in the immediate vicinity as she fled the area. Warrants were issued for her arrest, and she was jailed on them this week.

Ladarien Johnson, 19, Robert Lee Evans Jr, 18, Avion Ramsey, 21, Chance Vaughn, 20, and Jalem Buford, 20, and all charged with felony reckless endangerment for their roles in the ambush that left two dead at an Antioch apartment complex on June 11th.
Chelsea Kelly fired 17 shots into the air while “celebrating father’s day & having fun”
28-year-old Chelsea Kelly is charged with felony reckless endangerment after admitting to firing approximately 17 bullets into the air Sunday night just after 10 p.m., as part of celebrating Father’s Day and just “having fun”. Jason Bond called police to report he heard the gunshots coming from the home directly behind their AirBNB. Officers drove to the location and conducted a knock-and-talk at which time she confessed. Bond also states he had “red laser beams” coming into the home when the gun was being fired. Officers recovered a Taurus .40 cal and multiple shell casings.
Darius Perry says he’s “sorry” about firing handgun into apartment above
21-year-old Darius Perry was in an argument with a female at the Burning Tree Apartments when he brandished a handgun, pointed it at the ceiling, and fired it into the apartment above, which was occupied. He stated “sorry” as he fled before police arrived. He was taken into custody later that same evening.
Drunk man with gun threatens to kill store clerk, police let him walk away, he then assaults roommate — Shabazz Mallison
26-year-old Shabazz Mallison is jailed in lieu of a $72,000 bond after police had two interactions with him Wednesday. Officers first encountered him at a South Nashville 7-Eleven when he threatened to fight and kill the clerk. He was released from the scene after the clerk chose to not press charges.
One hour later, police were called to his home where they encountered him armed with a handgun on the front porch, yelling for cops to “shoot me! shoot me!” while waving the gun around. He had threatened a roommate, Shameka Watson, and another woman with a gun while pointing the laser sight at them. During the argument he reportedly also threw a Yankee candle at her, leaving wax on her face, and she used a chicken pan on him in self-defense.
Mallison is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment/assault, and possession of a handgun under the influence.
Man flees MNPD & THP at 170 MPH… until he runs out of gas — Jamal Nobrega @itsjamal__ arrested
26-year-old Jamal Nobrega, who is well known in the underground car racing scene across the U.S. & Mexico, took multiple mid-state agencies on a chase overnight, with speeds reaching over 170 mph. Metro Nashville Police initially observed the 2020 Chevrolet Camero on I-65 N bearing a non-legal license with just ‘LTX’ printed on the plate in red and white lettering. The passenger side of the car was distinct with vinyl lettering of “ITSJAMAL__” on the window. After being initially paced at 85 in a 70 mph zone a traffic stop was attempted, however, the driver fled at high rates of speed. MNPD AirOne and a THP helicopter picked up the pursuit, observing the vehicle ‘blacked out’ several times (turned off all lights) in an attempt to avoid being tracked. Eventually, the driver was taken into custody in Sumner County and transported back to Nashville. When asked why he eventually stopped the chase, Jamal Nobrega replied “because I ran out of gas”. After being charged with reckless driving and felony evading arrest, he was sent home on pre-trial release.
Woman charged after firing gun into neighbor’s Nob Hill apartment — Taylor Jones
Metro Nashville Police say 25-year-old Taylor Jones admitted to firing a Taurus 9mm handgun while inside her bedroom, in the direction of her closet. The bullet went through her wall, and into her neighbor’s occupied apartment, passing through several walls from her bathroom, closet, and bedroom. While no one was injured, the neighbor was in fear of her life. Taylor Jones was charged with reckless endangerment of an occupied habitation and is free on a $50,000 bond.
Austin Dubois charged in death of Mitchell Copeland — Confession: “I was going fast, way too fast…”
19-year-old Austin Dubois is now charged with reckless endangerment, his actions resulting in the death of 19-year-old Mitchell Copeland in March. DuBois was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday on a warrant that alleges he told investigators “I was flying, I was going fast, way too fast, way too fucking fast” while driving a 2004 Pontiac GTO. He was traveling 60 in a 35 mph zone when he entered a curve in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle. Dubois is free on a $5,000 bond.
‘Brother Jones’ says he wasn’t violent, but new video shows he was – and the Grand Jury agrees
Protestor Justin Jones (“Brother Jones”) was given two weeks to turn himself in on a Grand Jury Indictment, which charges him with two counts of reckless endangerment after he is seen on video repeatedly pushing a traffic cone into the cab of a vehicle, striking the person inside, and causing a danger to both the driver and the nearby public.
