Tourist jailed after biting bouncer at Nudie’s Honky Tonk — Andrew Hunter Munden #VisitMusicCity

24-year-old Andrew ‘Hunter’ Munden was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail early Sunday morning after Metro Nashville Police responded to Nudie’s Honky Tonk after Munden had been kicked out of the bar and continued to cause a disturbance. Police say after being removed from the venue, Munden then attempted to run past the bouncers to re-enter the bar. As they stopped him, he latched his teeth onto one of the bouncers, biting him. The bouncer did not press charges for the assault, however, police took Munden into custody and charged him with public intoxication.

Tourist too drunk for Honky Tonk Central — Blake William Miller charged with public intoxication

24-year-old Blake William Miller was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday evening just after 8 p.m. as he caused a disturbance at Honky Tonk Central and refused to leave after he was kicked out of the bar. Security eventually had to call Metro Police Officers and encountered Miller, who initially claimed to have left his debit card inside, but then changed his mind about its location, and noticed he was heavily intoxicated. After Miller continued to refuse to leave the premises, he was transported to booking, and charged with public intoxication.

Intoxicated tourist carried out of Bridgestone Arena, kicking and screaming — Ava Purifoy

19-year-old Ava Purifoy had to be carried out of Bridgestone Arena by off-duty officers Saturday night after she caused a scene inside from being overly intoxicated. As she was being placed into custody and the rear of a patrol car she began to kick her legs at officers and scream. She then kicked the windows from inside the car, demanding to be let out of custody. She eventually admitted to consuming “three drinks”. She was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Man charged with public intox & resisting arrest on Vanderbilt Campus — Severin Dean Shultis

Vanderbilt University Police received a call regarding a person at the entrance of Medical Center East who was yelling and tossing items off a desk at the hospital entrance. 24-year-old Severin Shultis was located a short time later on campus and was identified as the person responsible for causing the scene. Police say he was extremely intoxicated and attempted to run around the officer who was placing him under arrest. He is charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest. 23-year-old Mark Alan Richardson, from Texas, was found yelling and screaming from inside a locked & gated courtyard area of the Nashville Symphony in downtown Nashville. He apparently was unable to get out of the area, and venue security told police they believe he had to scale the eight-foot-tall gates to get stuck inside. Richardson refused to speak to officers and was transported to the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass. He is free on pre-trial release.

Florida Man charged after being drunk and disorderly at Whiskey Row — Jacob Bennett #VisitMusicCity

29-year-old tourist Jacob Bennett, from Florida, was booked into the Metro Nashville jail just before midnight Thursday after causing a scene at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative (EDI) observed him in a verbal altercation with security staff as he attempted to enter an exit door of the venue. He was asked to leave the property and refused and was eventually taken into custody for public intoxication. He was additionally charged with resisting arrest after he pulled his hands and arms away from being cuffed, and it took multiplied MNPD officers to subdue him into custody. 45-year-old Michael Davidson, who is visiting from Mason, OH, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail early Wednesday after he was found riding the elevator at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Nashville Downtown/The Gulch while exposing his genitals to other guests and employees for the purpose of sexual gratification, according to police. 25-year-old tourist Corey Oakes, from Kentucky, is charged with tampering with evidence and public intoxication after he carried his friend, who shot himself in the leg in downtown Nashville while drinking, on a bird scooter back to the Cambria hotel and parked him at the entrance while he returned to their room upstairs to hide the gun. When police responded to the shooting call at the hotel they located the victim and Oakes, who was extremely intoxicated, and admitted his friend “may have possibly shot himself” and admitted to returning the gun to their room. 23-year-old Noah Wallis was found pantsless and shoeless in a downtown Nashville parking lot in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday. Metro Nashville Police report he was sitting between two vehicles, one of which he had vomited on and caused a large dent in the side of, all while officers noted he “didn’t seem to notice he was missing his shoes and pants”, which were later found thrown in nearby bushes. Wallis stated he had “drank way too much and was just drunk”. He was charged with vandalism and public intoxication, and transported to booking. He is free on pre-trial release.

46-year-old Michael Reynolds began to record Metro Nashville Police officers on Broadway in downtown Nashville, telling them you’re going to be on the news tomorrow!” as they were in the process of arresting him for public intoxication. Reynolds was outside of Honky Tonk Central causing a scene as bouncers would not let him back inside the bar. He became irate when officers asked him to leave and began yelling even causing a disturbance. He was charged with public intoxication and transported to booking. As it turns out, Reynolds would be the only one making the news after this incident.

24-year-old Bryce Parker was celebrating his birthday with friends on Music Row when it was reported he was getting into vehicles of people he didn’t know. After Metro Nashville Police arrived to investigate the call, they noticed the 24-year-old had climbed into their own patrol car, which was parked with the emergency equipment activated. Police attempted to divert him to medical care, but he refused all services, resulting in an arrest for public intoxication and resisting arrest, as he pulled away when they took him into custody. 43-year-old Carl Wayne Martin, of Carthage, faces multiple charges after becoming unruly at the Nashville International Airport and refusing to wear a mask, as mandated for his flight on Southwest Airlines. Airport police were called to gate C18 after Martin was denied boarding when he refused to wear a mask for COVID-19 precautions & policy. Flight attendants and police noted that Martin also appeared to be heavily intoxicated during their interactions. He was offered the opportunity to simply leave the area but refused, so was placed into custody. He pulled away from the arresting officers and refused to get inside the police car for transport, requiring multiple officers to place him in the car against his will. Metro Nasvhille Police charged 19-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Brodie Harris with underage consumption of alcohol, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct Saturday night as he was involved in a large brawl on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Harris was observed attempting to punch another person, was ordered to stop, but he continued to attempt to strike the other person, ignoring the commands of officers. Metro Nashville Police say 28-year-old Rachel Monahan was heavily intoxicated and riding in the back of a taxi on I-40 when she apparently opened the door and jumped out of the vehicle, running toward the side of the road. The driver alerted police, who located her at mile marker 215, where she told them she had “a lot” to drink, and jumped out of the cab because she thought her taxi driver “was weird”. Metro Nasvhille Police found 37-year-old tourist Amanda Girard sitting on a downtown sidewalk crying for an unknown reason. She stated she had been out drinking while celebrating a friend’s birthday. Observing that she was entirely too intoxicated to care for herself, police offered her a medical ride to the hospital, transport to her hotel, or to assist her in finding her friends – all of which she explicitly refused. 22-year-old Phillip Pate was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday, where he was only charged with public intoxication. Police initially responded to Jason Aldean’s bar in downtown Nashville, where Pate says he was pushed by another patron, Richard Frederick Randall. Pate then punched him in the face, breaking his nose and sending him to the hospital for treatment. Police could not locate any witnesses or bouncers who were willing to come forward as a witness, and the victim was at the hospital, so Pate was charged with public intoxication, booked into jail, and released after eight hours with all charges dismissed.
