54-year-old Sharmaine Vestal was observed to be extremely intoxcated and unable to care for herself on 3rd Ave in downtown Nashville late Saturday night. Officers say she reekd of alcohol and refused all medical assistance. She had urinated on herself and could not stand on her own. She was taken into custody to be charged with public intoxication, and en route to booking, she cried out, “I’m peeing! I’m peeing!” while in the backset of the patrol car. During booking, she was ‘side celled’ due to her anger with deputies about her we pants situation until she calmed down to complete the process.

Malena McKinney jailed for public intoxication in downtown Nashville
Early Saturday morning, police encountered 22-year-old Malena McKinney, who was extremely intoxicated on 4th Ave N. in downtown Nashville and was resisting all efforts of her friends to get her home safely. McKinney was belligereant and refused all offers of assistance, including medics, who also responded to the scene. She was eventually taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Braidon Barbe — stripped naked to dance in the Symphony Fountain in downtown Nashville
23-year-old Braidon Barbe was one of several men completely naked in the fountain at 1 Symphony Place in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning. He was without pants or undwear as Officer Groeneweg observed him exit the fountain and attempt to get dressed. He told officers, “I’m drunk!” and was taken into custody for public intoxication and public indecency.
Anthony Nelson — splashed around in his boxers in Symphony Fountain with other naked men
25-year-old Anthony Nelson was only wearing a pair of soaked boxers as police observed him in the fountain located at 1 Symphony Place in downtown Nashville with other more naked men early Sunday morning. As he climbed out of the fountain to awaiting officers, he was unsteady on his feet and visibly intoxicated. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
Jonathan Miller — drunk, belligerant, and unable to pay bar tab in downtown Nashville
36-year-old Jonathan Miller was unable to pay his bar tab at Whiskey Bent Saloon in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning and became belligerent and attempted to fight with others inside the bar. He was escorted outside by security and became hostile with security and officers where were on scene. Due to his level of intoxication, Miller was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
Chase Irvin, 18, charged with underage drinking, resisting arrest in downtown Nashville
18-year-old Chase Irvin attempted to enter Redneck Riviera late Saturday night, but was denied entry due to his level of intoxication. Irvin then attempted to charge past the bounces. After failing to do so, he began to throw the signs outside the bar and was detained by security. As officers arrived to take him into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, Irvin attempted to flee while being detained. He was additionally charged with underage drinking and resisting arrest.
Derek Harrison arrested after locking himself in 7-Eleven bathroom
35-year-old Derek Harrison was jailed Saturday evening after causing a disturbance at the 7-Eleven on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Security initially detained him after he was drinking alcohol in front of the store and then locked himself inside of the restroom. Police arrived to take him into custody, charging him with public intoxication and criminal trespassing.
John Boyd — drunk and down on the sidewalk in downtown Nashville
60-year-old John Boyd was found passed out in front of the Palm Restaurant in downtown Nashville Saturday. Officers got him to his feet, and he had trouble standing on his own. He stumbled and fell over and was unable to tell officers what hotel he was staying at. He declined medical attention and was transported to booking, charged with public intoxication.

26-year-old Andrew Lash was at the Hyatt House Nashville At Vanderbilt early Sunday morning and refused to leave the location. Employees report he was blocking a door and being verbally aggressive to staff. Officers arrived to find him extremely intoxicated and took him into custody, charging him with public intoxication.
Tourist Zackary Trujillo drunk and disorderly, kicks down door
24-year-old Zackary Trujillo was jailed early Friday morning after officers responded to his disorderly conduct for a second time. Officers initially responded to a call about Trujillo drunkenly causing a disturbance at a downtown Nashville apartment complex. During that interaction, officers assisted himin obtaining a ride to the airport, and he stated he was flying back to New Mexico. A short time later, however, Trujillo reappeared at the apartment, where he had been staying with friends for the weekend, and kicked down a door. He was reportedly extremely intoxicated and reeked of alcohol.
Joseph Pappas nearly stumbles into officer in downtown Nashville
27-year-old Joseph Pappas approached an offer in downtown Nashville while he was drunk on 02/18. The officer was standing on the sidewalk when Pappas walked up and almost stumbled into him. The Officer noticed bloodshot eyes and lack of balance and asked Pappas if he had a ride home. Pappas told the officer he lived close by in Germantown and that he was going to walk home. The officer tried to get Pappas to arrange a ride home but was too drunk to operate his phone. The officer observed the defendant attempting to walk home while stumbling side to side and walking into other people and decided to arrest him as he was a danger to himself and others.

45-year-old Nicholas ODonnell was drunk and threatening to fight patrons at Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville late Sunday night. Officers arrived after being flagged down by security, and noted his extreme level of intoxication. He was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to booking.
Soldier David Wingard couldn’t handle his alcohol in downtown Nashville
24-year-old U.S. Army Soldier David Wingard was kicked out of Legends Corner in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning and refused to leave the venue. Officers assisted him outside, but a short time later, he returned and was sleeping on the back patio. Officers approached him a second time and determined him to be highly intoxicated. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Florida teen Walt Scarborough caught underage drinking w/fake ID outside of Kid Rock’s bar
19-year-old Walt Scarborough was drinking an alcoholic beverage on the sidewalk in front of Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning. When officers approached and informed he he could only drink inside, Scarborough became confrontational and “stepped up” to officers.” They verified his ID was fake, and he was actually only 19-years-old, as he was carrying his actual ID on him, too. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Police say 29-year-old Morgan Mills was so drunk she was “falling into the arms of men she did not know” at Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville early Saturday morning. She was too intoxcated to care for herself and could not provide anyone to contact to assist her. She also couldn’t remember where she was staying. After refusing medical treatment, she was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
Matthew Jones — too drunk for downtown Nashville
41-year-old Matthew Jones was taken into custody after officers observed him kick over a sign in front of Redneck Riviera, a bar located on Broadway. Jones was then grabbed by a bouncer and identified. He was unsteady on his feet, reeked of alcohol, and his eyes were bloodshot. Once Jones was detained, he told officers that he did not know where he was staying and didn’t know if he had been with anyone else earlier in the night and could not get a ride from anyone. Officers took him into custody for his own safety as he was highly intoxicated and had nowhere to go.

37-year-old Christopher Mcleod was found lying on the sidewalk at the corner of 6th & KVB late Friday night, unable to stand. Officers say he reeked of alcohol and was too intoxicated to care for himself. He was transported to mobile booking and charged with public intoxication.
Nashville Police wake up homeless man sleeping under a tree to arrest him — David Moore
Metro Nashville Police woke up 32-year-old David Moore as he slept under a tree in the parking lot of 1419 Clinton Street just before midnight on February 14. A ‘concerned citizen’ called 911 to report them, and officers responded to check on his welfare. Officer Christopher Cantrell woke up Moore, who stated he was fine and didn’t need any assistance or medical attention. The officer says he smelled of alcohol and marijuana and told him he was under arrest due to being too intoxicated in public. The officer seized three marijuana joints totaling 1.5 grams. Moore began to scream the police were “robbers” and called them a few choice names. After sitting in jail for a few hours, the DA declined to prosecute the case.
Andrei Gavaz pulls it out and touches it at Kid Rock’s Bar on Valentine’s Day
Police say 24-year-old Andrei Gavaz unzipped his pants and whipped out his most prized possession at Kid Rock’s Bar on Valentine’s Day. He then thoroughly touched himself and then, using that same hand, smacked the face of a bouncer who had escorted him out of the venue due to his level of intoxication. He was attempting to re-enter the bar when the assault occurred. The bouncer, Shay Thomas, fell to the ground and suffered cuts to both elbows and his knuckle while attempting to detain Gavaz.
Police arrived to find Gavaz cuffed, and as they were placing him in the rear of a patrol car, he had to be hobble-restrained as he attempted to kick Officer Hill in the face, but no contact was made. He was still charged with assault of an officer, as Officer Hill stated he “felt as if he was about to be assaulted.” He then began to spit all over the rear of the patrol vehicle, resulting in an additional vandalism charge.
Drunk and disorderly in East Nashville — Sumedha Sagar arrested
Police responded to a disorderly person at Canvas East Nashville late Monday night and encountered 30-year-old Sumedha Sagar, who was attempting to climb over a fence. She then repeatedly banged on a door, yelling loudly to be let in. She was extremely intoxicated and unable to care for herself. She was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
Dalton Odel “stumbling and falling” outside bar in downtown Nashville
27-year-old Dalton Odel was found stumbling and falling out of Honky Tonk Central late Saturday night by officers of the Entertainment District Unit. As they checked on his well-being, he was extremely intoxicated and could not form any coherent phrases. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Eric Kowalik says he was “where he was supposed to be,” drunk on the ground
37-year-old Eric Kowalik was found on the ground sleeping at the Vanderbilt Clinic in the early hours of Monday morning, shortly after last call. He reeked of alcohol, and officers asked why he was sleeping on the ground. Without hesitation, Kowalik explained he was exactly where he was supposed to be. He admitted to consuming a “few” drinks and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
David Shillaber too drunk for Tacos and Tequilas
32-year-old David Shillaber was kicked out of Tacos and Tequilas for being too intoxicated on February 11, as he continued to cause disturbances at the location. Metro Nasvhille Police escorted him outside, where he stumbled around and attempted to find a ride home. He told officers his ride would be there in ten minutes, but during that time, he began to walk away. He was placed into custody for public intoxication and transported to booking.
Group calls 911 to report Andrea Martinez missing after they abandon her downtown
Citizens on Lischey Avenue called 911 to report a missing person, 22-year-old Andrea Martinez. Police responded to the location, and the parties explained they were all out on Broadway drinking and abandoned Andrea downtown when she became belligerent and aggressive. During the interactions, one of the women received a call from the downtown Hilton Hotel, who had located Andrea as she was disturbing guests and refused to leave despite them having no rooms available. Officers traveled to the Hilton downtown and attempted to arrange somewhere safe for Andrea to go, but she refused all assistance. She was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
Malakye Williams too drunk for downtown Nashville
22-year-old Malakye Williams was found slumped over and leaning against a wall on Broadway in downtown Nashville this weekend. Medics also responded to the scene, but he refused all assistance. Due to his level of intoxication and inability to care for himself, Williams was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
