Robert Holmes charged with drug possession after DUI crash on Dickerson Pike

30-year-old Robert Holmes crashed his vehicle near Dickerson Pike and Grace Street late Friday night and admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the day. Social media posts show Holmes drinking with friends at a restaurant just prior to driving. Responding officers say he smelled of alcohol and had trouble standing and speaking coherently. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, Holmes was taken into custody. A subsequent inventory search of his vehicle prior to towing resulted in the seizure of 9.39 grams of marijuana in a Tupperware container.

DUI: Man admits to several mixed drinks before blowing double BAC limit in East Nashville — Alexander McMillan

22-year-old Alexander McMillan was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail early Saturday morning after blowing a 0.174 BAC, which is over twice the legal limit in Tennessee, after an East Nashville traffic stop. Metro Police say he was traveling at 42 in a 30 mph zone and crossing the marked lines on the roadway before failing to stop at a stop sign at Eastland Avenue & Riverside Drive. McMillan admitted to having three mixed drinks prior to driving. He is charged with DUI and is free on pre-trial release.

Woman charged in East Nashville DUI – just moments away from her home — Logan McCullough

26-year-old Logan McCullough was charged with DUI on Saturday in East Nashville after Officer Paul Stein says he observed her perform a rolling stop at a stop sign, then cross several lines and swerve as he followed her. Despite his emergency lights, it took a few goes with the emergency siren before she eventually acknowledged him and pulled over. She denied drinking, however, Stein says she reeked of alcohol and was obviously intoxicated. She is free on pre-trial release.

Nashville Police charge cuffed man with vandalism after he urinates in back of patrol car

Metro Nashville Police have charged Joseph ‘Joey’ Windler, the 29-year-old owner of Rukus Cycling Nashville, with vandalism after they cuffed him in the rear of a patrol car during a DUI arrest, and they say he urinated on the seat, traffic cones, and plexiglass divider of the cage. The officer notes it’s not his normal job duty to clean urine and it takes away from his duty as a Patrol Sergeant, thereby costing the city money, and constituting vandalism as there is a monetary loss.

Man arrested for driving under influence of marijuana, resisting arrest

Kevin Helm, 23, passed a MNPD officer, doing 44 in a 35 mph zone. He then admitted to smoking marijuana and drinking a small amount of alcohol. He was arrested and charged with DUI, simple possession, and resisting arrest.
