57-year-old Josephine ‘Jodie’ Barringer was booked this week on an outstanding citation from May charging her with DUI. Nashville Fire says they were the first to arrive at the scene on May 4th to find Barringer unconscious in the driver’s seat of her Volvo XC60, which had crashed on Woodmont Blvd, striking a fire hydrant and a utility pole. First responders administered 4mg of NARCAN, and she regained consciousness while being loaded into the ambulance. She admitted to taking a pill that a friend gave her prior to driving but denied knowing what it was. Officers say she was sweating profusely and was very disheveled in her appearance. She was transported to the hospital and given a state citation in lieu of arrest.

Connor Cunningham pumps gas while friend overdoses, found with Xanax & heroin
19-year-old Connor Cunningham was at the gas pump at a Murfreesboro Pike gas station when an officer observed his front seat passenger appear to be overdosing with their head tilted back and eyes rolling backward. Concerned for their well-being, the officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop; however, Cunningham exited the parking lot, drove on the street, and pulled back into the parking lot while going very slow and attempting to wake the overdosing passenger while exchanging an item hand to hand. As medical arrived to assist, the passenger admitted they were both under the influence of several Xanax bars at the time. A vehicle search revealed 12 grams of a crystal substance in three baggies, believed to be methamphetamine, and a clear baggy with 2 grams of a tan substance believed to be heroin.
Colton Collins forgot to leave his gun at home when he was treated for a drug overdose at Summit Hospital
Metro Nashville Police say they responded to Summit Hospital late Wednesday night after 29-year-old Colton Collins was brought in for a drug overdose. A security officer recovered a firearm on Collins and contacted MNPD to collect the weapon. As Collins was being discharged, officers located him inside the room and placed him into custody for being a felon in possession of a firearm, citing Collins has at least two prior felony drug convictions.

37-year-old Rachel Oliphant told officers she had just used heroin before being involved in a three-car crash just before 8 a.m. Monday in Antioch. Nashville fire found her unconscious behind the wheel, and revived her with Narcan, per court documents. She is free on pre-trial release.
DUI: Woman blows .211 BAC, claims she had 1 beer — Jessica Mackinnon arrested
Poice found 27-year-old Jessica Mackinnon asleep/passed out behind the wheel in the middle of an intersection in Antioch. After medics and others eventually got her awake and alert she told first responders she drank one beer and smoked marijuana. She blew a 0.211 BAC, nearly three times the legal limit. She remains jailed in lieu of a $1.500 bond.
Man forces ex-lover to snort heroin off knife; threatens to kill her if she blows it away again
56-year-old Jack Curtis was charged with aggravated assault for an October incident involving an injury to his roommate, Betty O’Kelley. Curtis’ charges come in lieu of causing anal sepsis on O’Kelley as well as forcing her to overdose on heroin, per report.
