Tiara Wilson charged with DUI 2nd offense after East Nashville crash

24-year-old Tiara Wilson was charged with DUI after crashing into a utility pole. On the 24th, officers were dispatched to a crash on Gallatin pike. Wilson had damaged power lines that were setting the nearby grass on fire. When asked how the crash happened, she would not answer but instead talked only about her life story and how she was already going to jail in Montgomery County in two days for another DUI charge. After asking several times, she admitted that she had leaned over to grab something when the crash occurred. She repeatedly stated that she was going to jail and that she was sober. Due to the strong winds, Officers could not pick up a smell of alcohol, but with her insistence on being sober and her performing poorly on the sobriety test, officers believed her to be impaired. While conducting a vehicle search, officers found an open container of VooDoo Ranger IPA.

Matthew Brecht flees from police, they meet him at his house

21-year-old Matthew Brecht face multiple charges after police say he fled from them after they observed him traveling at 50 mph in a 35 mphz in his silver Dodge Ram truck late Friday night in Goodlettsville. Officers stopped the pursuit, per policy, but knew the vehicle and where the driver lived. Officers arrived at the location to find the truck parked but still warm to the touch. Brecht’s cell phone and a half-empty bottle of vodka were vidisble in the vehicle’s driver’s seat. Brecht eventually came out of the house and was taken into custody.

Jesus Jurarez cited after reckless driving and loud muffler on Nolensville Pike

21-year-old Jesus Jurarez was cited on five charges on January 7 as he drove his 2015 Camaro on Nolensville Road with a very loud exhaust as he passed a marked patrol car while accelerating recklessly. He was swerving between lanes, and a traffic stop was initiated. Jurarez had no license, no insurance, and an open beer in the vehicle. He passed field sobriety tests with only minor indications of impairment. He was issued state citations and was booked on them this week.

DUI: Gregory Stamps found drinking a Natty Daddy while driving in East Nashville

Police were on the lookout for 55-year-old Gregory Stamps, who was reported to be intoxicated and driving a black Toyota RAV4 on January 5. He was eventually located on Woodland Street, where they conducted a traffic stop to check on his welfare. Officers say he had constricted pupils and the smell of alcohol coming from his breath. Stamps stated he consumed a 25oz beer prior to driving, and officers observed a 25oz Natty Daddy in the console beside him.

Michele Stockholm charged with DUI after Donelson Pike crash

55-year-old Michele Stockholm was charged with a DUI and an open container violation early Saturday morning. According to police, Michele drove her vehicle off the road at Donelson Pike and Citation Dr. When officers arrived at the scene, they found an open alcoholic container in the floorboard of her vehicle, and Michele was displaying clear signs of intoxication. Officers initiated field sobriety tests but were unable to complete them due to her level of intoxication. She was subsequently taken into custody and transported to General Hospital for a consented blood draw before being booked into jail.

Desmon Davidson, 20, had “seven or eight” shots of liquor before driving

20-year-old Desmon Davidson was arrested in the early hours of Friday morning and charged with underage driving while impaired, underage possession of alcohol, and driving with an open container. Officers responded to a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 24 southeast of Downtown Nashville where they found Desmon in the driver seat, displaying clear signs of intoxication. Davidson performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and admitted to consuming “seven to eight shots” of liquor prior to driving. Inside the vehicle was an open bottle of liquor. In September 2022, Davidson pleaded a DUI charge down to reckless driving in a deferred judgment agreement.

DUI: Josephine Mullins leaves Jelly Roll concert, drives over the barriers on Broadway — 0.229% BAC

27-year-old Josephine Mullins says she had “3 or 6 drinks” at the Jelly Roll concert Friday night before getting behind the wheel of her vehicle to drive home. As she drove onto Broadway, she impacted and drove over a large orange and white traffic barricade. Officers immediately responded from nearby and found her to be heavily intoxicated. Inside the vehicle, there were five empty fireball shooters, along with a white tumbler with about a quarter of the liquid remaining. She performed (very) poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.229% BAC on a breathalyzer – nearly three times the legal limit in Tennessee.

Dalton Holdman charged with DUI after Saturday crash

27-year-old Dalton Holdman was involved in a car crash Saturday and, when asked what happened, told police he didn’t remember and that everything was “still a blur.” He reportedly reeked of alcohol and had slurred speech during his interactions with officers. Inside the car, officers found an open beer can with only a small amount of liquid remaining inside. He was transported to Vanderbilt for minor injuries and later charged with driving under the influence (DUI).

25-year-old Latisha Cox was traveling North on 4th Ave N late Friday night in downtown Nashville, despite that being a one-way Southbound street. A traffic stop was conducted as she was driving on a blown tire and a busted front axle, in addition to driving in the wrong direction. She appeared heavily intoxicated and stated she had one margarita and two shots of tequila prior to driving. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests, which had to be stopped for her own safety.

Adam Wilson flees after DUI crash in East Nashville

Police say 37-year-old Adam Wilson crashed into another vehicle in East Nashville late Sunday night and then fled south on Gallatin Pike. Wilson was driving a Toyota Tacoma and had lost a tire and was dragging debris as he sped away from the accident scene. Eight minutes later, a citizen reported the Tacoma on his street, kicking up sparks as it hobbled along West Greenwood Avenue. The citizen observed Wilson get out of the truck and detained him until police arrived moments later. Wilson reeked of alcohol, and there was a half-drank can of beer in the center console.

21-year-old Jesus Morales Mejia told police he drank “a f*/k ton” of beers before crashing his vehicle onto its roof on Glenrose Ave Monday afternoon. He initially limped away from the scene, according to witnesses, and police encountered him a short distance away to check on his welfare. He stated he wasn’t sure why he crashed but told officers he drank “a f*-k ton” of beers before driving. Brittney Calhoun charged in “girl’s night out” DUI crash in East Nashville

30-year-old Brittney Calhoun told police she was “in town for a girl’s night and going to some bars” when they found her and a passenger crashed in East Nashville at 3:30 a.m. Saturday. She had driven her vehicle into two parked cars on the side of the road. Further questioning revealed that her drink of choice was Vodka & Red Bull, and she consumed “a couple” while at the bars. She says she blacked out and doesn’t remember any of the crash. Officers located two large Bud Light cans that were open and leaking alcohol into the driver’s side of the car, along with another opened bottle of alcohol in the front. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI. Her passenger was transported to Centennial hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

DUI: Hope Jenkins says she had “two shots” of liquor prior to crash

Police say 23-year-old Hope Alexander Jenkins was involved in an automobile crash just before midnight on August 31st on Springfield Highway. When officers arrived, they immediately noticed an open bottle of vodka on the floorboard of the vehicle and smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from Jenkins. Jenkins, who admitted to drinking”two shots” of liquor before driving, performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later consented to a blood draw. She also has a prior DUI conviction in 2018, along with a suspended license.

DUI: Amber Collins found asleep behind wheel after nearly causing multiple crashes

A concerned citizen followed a red BMW driving by 27-year-old Amber Collins to a convenience store on Haywood Lance, concerned for her safety as she was reportedly swerving in and out of traffic and nearly caused multiple accidents. When police arrived, Collins had pulled into the parking lot of the gas station and fallen asleep at the wheel of her BMW, which was still running and near the gas pumps. After she was awoken she remained incoherent and was unable to answer questions. Inside the vehicle, officers found an open Smirnoff Vodka bottle, which was half empty.
She was charged with DUI.

DUI: Ariel Thomas says she took Percocet & swigs from Paul Masson whiskey bottle

23-year-old Ariel Thomas was stopped for speeding and during the interaction with an officer, she admitted to “drinking a swig” from an open bottle of Paul Masson Whiskey, which she was carrying in a pouch on her shirt, and taking a Percocet. A second empty bottle of whiskey was also in the vehicle, along with other various open containers of alcohol. Also found in the vehicle was a small amount of marijuana and a loaded Taurus pistol. What wasn’t found was a valid license to drive, as she currently didn’t have one issued to her.

Gerik Pennock charged with DUI in downtown Nashville near Justice Center / Jail Booking

Metro Nashville Police say first responders found 32-year-old Gerik Pennock passed out in the driver’s seat of his vehicle at 200 James Robertson Parkway in downtown Nashville Monday night. Nashville Fire had had him loaded into their unit for evaluation when officers arrived and found an open container of alcohol in the black Jetta, which was registered to Pennock. There was only about 1/4th of the bottle remaining. Pennock admitted to drinking prior to driving but would not state how much he had consumed. He has a prior DUI conviction in Michigan.

28-year-old Robert Baugh says he was coming from a show in midtown, where he had been drinking, when he swerved to pass a vehicle in East Nashville, impacted a wall, and spun around. Multiple witnesses came to his immediate aid to find him unresponsive. As police and medics arrived he became alert and when asked how much had had to drink, he stated: “I plead the fifth”. He thought he was on I-40 and was unable to stand without swaying. Inside the vehicle, officers located an empty bottle of Hennessy, and a nearly empty bottle of Jim Beam Whiskey.

26-year-old Roshan Tamang says he had 4-5 shots of Hennessy prior to losing control of his vehicle and striking rock wall on Blue Hole Road in Antioch early Sunday morning. Police say both he and the vehicle “reeked” of alcohol. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, hopping, swaying, and wobbling during them.

Metro Police responded to Raywood Lane after a citizen called in to report a car with a person inside had been parked in front of their home for several hours. Police identified 35-year-old Do Thang inside the vehicle with the keys in the ignition, his belt undone, and his pants unzipped. Officer reported he had snot running down his face and was extremely intoxicated with three open Clubtails Sunny Margarita Cans visible in the car.

Man so drunk he continues to drive damaged vehicle after crash — Elijah Gang #WhiteBoyWasted

26-year-old Elijah Gang was driving around in a recently crashed vehicle when he drove right into an area which police were preparing for the NYE event in downtown Nashville. An officer approached him to make sure he was ok, and that he realized how damaged his vehicle was. The front-end had heavy damage and the left front tire was completely flat. Gang reeked of alcohol and refused to answer most questions.

Inside the Toyota Rav4 was an open Miller High Life beer can and multiple cans of Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Things. Gang was charged with DUI, violation of the implied consent law, and open containers. He was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, just a few blocks away, and is free on pre-trial release.

DUI: Man found with tequila, and a handgun in his pink handbag — Marvin Drew arrested

When police pulled him over for a traffic stop, an officer noticed a nearly empty bottle of Adictivo Tequila in the vehicle of 36-year-old Marvin Drew, and a 9mm handgun magazine in his lap. When asked where his gun was located, Drew pointed to his pink handbag, which is where officers retrieved a Taurus G2c and several rounds of ammo.

Drew was charged with DUI, open container, possession of a weapon under the influence, and violation of the implied consent law. He is free on pre-trial release.

34-year-old Rebecca Moss was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Friday night after a traffic stop resulted in her arrest. Officers initially pulled her over for failing to maintain her lane of travel, and once stopped, quickly realized she was driving under the influence. Officers noted an open pint of whiskey in the cup holder next to her, and when she was asked to step out of the vehicle, she climbed completely over the console and out the passenger side door, while exclaiming how mad her lawyer was going to be at her. Moss was charged with having an open container, and DUI 2nd, and is free on pre-trial release.

52-year-old Memphis magnate Stephen Tanzer was charged with DUI Wednesday night when he was found asleep behind the wheel of his running Range Rover just before 8 PM, which was parked on a sidewalk in downtown Nashville. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and admitted to drinking earlier. A nearly empty bottle of Blue Note Bourbon was located in the vehicle. Tanzer is free on pre-trial release.
