Vanderbilt Student Matthew Liendo jailed with drugs after disorderly conduct at women’s dorm

19-year-old Matthew Liendo was jailed after causing a disturbance in Lewis Hall at Vanderbilt University just after 2 a.m. Monday. Officers say he was asked to leave the building as he loudly and repeatedly knocked on the third floor door of a female student. He was instructed to leave the building and refused, stating, “or what?” He then continued, “I will not leave the building or stop knocking and shouting unless I am arrested!” He was ultimately granted his wish and taken into custody. A search of his person incident to arrest revealed a gold Spiderman grinder and 0.7 grams of marijuana.

Tourist James Peet found passed out in downtown alley, drunk and armed with a handgun

56-year-old James Chester Peet of New York was found passed out in downtown Nashville in an alley near 4th & Broadway in the early hours of Sunday morning. Once he was awoken, officers detected a strong smell of alcohol coming from Peet, and he was obviously too intoxicated to care for himself. As an ambulance was called to assist him, Peet disclosed he had a handgun on his hip. After he declined further medical treatment, he was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication and possession of a handgun while intoxicated.

Ryan Whalen & his brother, from New York, charged after brawl at Broadway Bar

Bouncers say 25-year-old Ryan Whalen started a fight at Jason Aldean’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville on Saturday night which resulted in a man’s ankle being broken. His brother, Brendan Whalen, was also involved in that fight. The two were removed from the bar and told not to return. Security Manager Joshua Lynch says a few hours later the brothers, who were visiting from New York, returned to the bar and Ryan once again started another fight. They were both detained by security and charged with criminal trespass.

22-year-old Brendan Whalen and his brother, Ryan Whalen, were both jailed on criminal trespass charges this weekend at Jason Aldean’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville after they were involved in a fight that left a man with a broken ankle and were kicked out of the bar. Despite warning to not return to the venue, just hours later they were back inside and quickly noticed by security manager Joshua Lynch as they caused yet another disturbance. The two New Yorkers were detained until police arrived, and charged with criminal trespass.

New York man determined to party at Nudie’s Honky Tonk — Matthew Cebulski arrested

22-year-old Matthew Cebulski was determined to keep the party going at Nudie’s Honky Tonk on Broadway in downtown Nashville Tuesday night, despite being kicked out of the venue. Bouncers at the location say Cebulsk was causing a disturbance, so they escorted him out the back door and advised him he was no longer welcome on the property. Matt Cebulski then walked around the building and back inside through the front door. He was once again escorted outside but remained undeterred. He then attempted to climb through the front window of the establishment and reportedly spit on a bouncer who dared to attempt to stop him.

NY Tourist Robert Mason screams “This is America!” before assaulting MNPD Officers: pre-trial release

22-year-old Robert Mason, of New York, is charged with the assault of two Metro Nashville Police Officers, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and resisting arrest after employees flagged down police for assistance as he was being kicked out of Scoreboard Bar & Grill. Refusing to let officers call a friend to help him leave on his own, he clenched his fists, took a fighting stance, and screamed “THIS IS AMERICA!”. Officers tackled him as he began to resist arrest. He Grabbed Officer Joshua McGarvey’s ring finger while twisting and clenching it, which caused an injury to his finger and a hyperextended knee from the fight. He also caused scratch injuries to Officer Snyder from his fingernails.

New York man kicked out of The Capitol Hotel in downtown Nashville — Jaime Idrovo

Metro Police responded to the Capitol Hotel in downtown Nashville early Monday morning after 31-year-old Jaime Idrovo was in some sort of disturbance with another guest. Due to all of the commotion in the middle of the night, hotel management asked Idrovo to leave the hotel, but he refused, stating he was going back to sleep. After management asked him a second time, with police present, and he still refused, he was charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, and transported to booking.

A Family visited a Nashville AirBNB and packed their racism and domestic violence for the trip

53-year-old Willard Norton, and his 49-year-old girlfriend, Kentucky Marie Slack, are in Nashville this week, along with her daughter, and they certainly didn’t ready the hospitality handbook before their arrival. By 1 a.m. Thursday. Williard ended up in custody after he danced around Metro Nashville Police Officers screaming yelling “Su-Weeeee”, calling them “pigs”, and asking them to “beat me like a N—-r”.

The entire reason police were even called to the Airbnb was to arrest his girlfriend after she came back from a downtown bar drunk and admittedly punched her daughter in the face.
