Police say 29-year-old Wesley Johnson had to be revived with Narcan after he crashed his vehicle on I-65S in late October. He told first responders he had two alcoholic beverages and had snorted pain pills prior to driving that night. He was transported to Vanderbilt for treatment and issued a citation for DUI 2nd offense. He was booked on that citation this week.

18-year-old Grant Winn charged with DUI after driving wrong way on interstate & crashing
18-year-old Grant Philip Winn was driving a vehicle that crashed into another vehicle head-on on I-65 South in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police say Winn was driving Northbound in the Southbound lanes when the crash occurred. He was sitting on the ground by his crashed vehicle when police arrived and admitted to drinking prior to driving, stating he had been at a party and consumed “two beers.” He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI and underage drinking.
DUI: Joshua Snyder blows 0.243% BAC, tells police he’s “too drunk to drive”
25-year-old Joshua Snyder blew over three times the legal limit on a breathalyzer after crashing his vehicle on Blackman Road. Officers responded to find his vehicle in a ditch and Snyder extremely intoxicated. He admitted to drinking “a few beers” at a bar in downtown Nashville and that he “messed up” and was “too drunk to drive,” according to the officers. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.243% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Karla Campos charged with public intoxication after being passed out in car at intersection
22-year-old Karla Campos was the front seat passenger of a vehicle found in the middle of a Nashville intersection with both occupants passed out, with Isaiah Carter as the driver. Karla had thrown up all over the inside of the vehicle and was extremely intoxicated. As officers were investigating, she repeatedly attempted to walk into the roadway. She refused all medical assistance and was deemed a danger to herself and transported to booking.
Lindsey Brewer admits to drinking wine & hard seltzer before DUI crash
36-year-old Lindsey Brewer told police she consumed two glasses of wine and one can of hard seltzer prior to crashing her vehicle into another vehicle on Edmonson Pike in the overnight hours into Sunday morning. Brewer was reportedly unsteady on her feet and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She was transported to Metro General for a blood draw and then to booking, where she was charged with DUI.
Jason Bland charged in assault of two victims in assault
43-year-old Jason Bland says things “got pushy” in a domestic dispute but denies hitting anyone. Two female victims, however, say he became upset and began to hit and kick one of them and strangled her, and a juvenile victim says Bland pushed her when she told him she was starting to record the incident on her phone.
DUI: Gabriela Valencia found unresponsive behind wheel of car off roadway
Nashville Fire Department medics had to force entry into the vehicle of 23-year-old Gabriela Valencia after she drove off the road and was found passed out behind the wheel of her vehicle near the Hardee’s on Nolensville Road. Police arrived soon after she had become responsive and observed her to be heavily intoxicated. Valencia stated she was coming from Del Monte’s where she had been drinking and admitted that she knew she had too much to drink prior to driving. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking.
Lizbeth Aviles charged with public intoxication on Nolensville Pike
While on a call for service at 3961 Nolensville Pike, officers encountered 30-year-old Lizbeth Aviles, who appeared to be heavily intoxicated. She reportedly reeked of alcohol, had slurred speech, and was unsafe to leave on her own. She was unable to call anyone in Nashville to pick her up, and she refused both an Uber and medical assistance. She was transported to booking.
Kathleen Nannie blows 0.225% BAC after fleeing scene of crash in downtown Nashville
Police found 20-year-old Kathleen Nannie outside of her vehicle at 1301 Division Street, sitting with security staff after she crashed into another vehicle near 17th and Broadway and fled. She told police she had two drinks with vodka prior to driving. She refused to answer any questions without a lawyer being present but did state she would not pass a breath test and then continued to state “I shouldn’t have been drinking and driving”, according to police. She eventually took a breathalyzer and blew a 0.225% BAC, almost triple the legal limit.
