Billy Hentz charged in Hermitage DUI hit-and-run after leaving Double E’s Bar

62-year-old Billy Hentz fled from a crash scene earlier this month in Hermitage. Angelique Spitaliere told police he fled after crashing into her vehicle and that he appeared to be intoxicated. He was observed in the nearby Publix parking lot, sitting in the front seat of his white Ford Taurus. Hentz told police he was on his way home from Double E’s Bar & Grill, where he consumed two beers and stopped in the Publix parking lot to attend to a flat tire. Officers noted extensive front-end damage to his vehicle, which had open alcohol containers and a firearm inside. Hentz performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI 2nd, among other charges.

Grayson Taylor yelled racial slurs, demanded MNPD supervisor, before eventually being arrested at Zanies

23-year-old Grayson Taylor was kicked out of Zanies Comedy Club after he says he drank a half-bottle of wine and a few additional drinks. Club staff report he was restrained by security after he began screaming racial slurs and causing a disturbance to other patrons. Police arrived to help escort him from the property, and while waiting for an Uber he took off his shirt and became more violent and threatening. He refused to get into the Uber when it arrived, and then threatened officers. After they told him he would be placed under arrest, he requested a supervisor respond to the scene.

While waiting on a supervisor to arrive, Taylor called 911 several more times to demand other officers respond, he then walked to another business where he also became a disturbance. They then warned him a few more times to “remain calm” which he refused to do. At some point they took eventually him into custody, charging him with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Woman charged with holding girlfriend in headlock & repeatedly punching her face — Kaitlynn Price

25-year-old Kaitlynn Price was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Wednesday morning on an outstanding warrant charging her with the domestic assault of her ex-girlfriend, Alexandria Smith.

Court records show the two were living together in October when Kaitlynn grabbed her by the shirt, placed her in a headlock, and repeatedly punched her in the face. Price is free on a $1,000 bond.

Castrated man charged in rape of child, claims it was another personality, pens apology letter — Jeffrey Beckham arrested

43-year-old Jeffrey Beckham is jailed in lieu of a $100,000 bond after writing an apology letter to a 13-year-old victim he is accused of raping, admitting that one of his multiple personalities committed the crime, noting he can recall it in his own memory. The victim was able to positively identify Beckham, disclosing that he had no testicles. Metro Nashville detectives were able to confirm he was ‘all twig and no berries’. Lebanon man claims Sumner County Commissioner forced him to withdraw money from ATM; calls 911 & chases him

Lebanon Police say 21-year-old Travis Gaither called 911 and claimed Sumner County Commissioner & State Representative candidate Luke Tinsley forced him to withdraw cash from an ATM and give it to him. Gaither then chased the vehicle, providing updates to the dispatcher, asking police to meet him at Tinsley’s house. The investigation showed the money was a loan, and he didn’t think he had to pay it back. He was charged with misuse of 911 and possession of the marijuana in this glovebox. Gaither is Tinsley’s former campaign manager for his State Representative run.

Uber driver charged for transporting man selling Heroin & Fentanyl, agents exposed during arrest

MNPD, Lebanon PD, and the WCSO all worked together to take down 30-year-old heroin distributor Isaiah Richard Gates Tuesday, and his uber driver, Tariku Bulit, after a long-term investigation. During the arrest, Gates ripped open a large bag of powder heroin in an attempt to destroy the evidence, and several officers were exposed to the the heroin.
