Hudson Harrell charged with DUI, wants to take more tests, blows double legal limit

Police say 22-year-old Hudson Harrell crashed his 2016 Infiniti Q50 on I-24 in the early hours of Monday morning after drinking in downtown Nashville. He told police he was “unsure” how his car ended up in a ditch but stated he consumed “1-2 drinks” prior to driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and after he was under arrest, he repeatedly asked to take more tests. Once at booking, they granted his wish with a breathalyzer, on which he blew a 0.180% BAC, more than double the legal limit to drive.

Ryan Kennie charged after brawl at Jason Aldean’s bar in downtown Nashville

21-year-old Ryan Kennie faces a half-dozen charges after a brawl in the early hours of Saturday morning at Jason Aldean’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Officers responded to 307 Broadway to break up a fight that was spilling onto the sidewalk outside the venue. During the struggle to separate parties, Kennie kicked a police Sergeant in the leg, rolled over an offer’s hand by force, kicked an officer, breaking his body-work camera, and eventually puked in the back of a patrol car once he was hobble-restrained in custody. Kennie was transported to Metro General for medical clearance and then to booking.

Cadyn Spruell blows stop sign, crashes Porsche into parked car after drinking downtown

29-year-old Cadyn Spruell told police she had been downtown drinking before she “blew through a stop sign” and crashed her 2017 Porsche into a parked vehicle late Sunday night in South Nashville. Officers arrived at the intersection of Foster Avenue and Peachtree Street and interviewed Spruell, who they noted to have a staggered walk, watery and bloodshot eyes, and a smell of alcohol about her. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and would later blow a 0.201% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Tourist Devon Feager threatens to beat MNPD officers & “break them in half”

Metro Nashville Police responded to 416 Broadway for a fight involving another person. After that person was arrested for public intoxication, 35-year-old Top Flite Financial Sr. Sales Manager Devon Feager began to be verbally abusive to officers at the scene. When asked to calm down and move along, he made specific threats against officers. Officers gave him one last warning and chance to walk away, however, Devon Feager then told officers he was going to “beat them and break them in half”. As he was being arrested on multiple charges, he used all of his body weight to pull away and had to be taken to the ground to be taken into custody.

Penny Crain tells police she had too much to drink, they agree #PublicIntoxication

Metro Nashville Police officers working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville received a call about 52-year-old Penny Crain, who was reported to be “extremely intoxicated” and they found her acting unreasonably in public, and unable to care for herself. A report notes she was having difficulty standing on her own and was slurring her words as she yelled at other citizens in the area. She told police “I had too much to drink”.

David Bennett charged with threatening grandson with baseball bat over rent money

73-year-old David Bennett was waiting with a baseball bat in his hand for his grandson, Jonathan Bennett, to return to their Antioch home on March 1st. When the victim arrived home, David threatened him with bodily harm using the baseball bat if he didn’t pay rent. David’s wife was a witness and corroborated the events to police when they arrived.
