DUI: Joey Riser crashes into parked car at Music City Center

36-year-old Joseph Tabor Riser is charged with driving under the influence after driving his vehicle into an unoccupied vehicle at Music City Center in downtown Nashville. Riser was taken to St. Thomas Midtown Hospital after he told paramedics he was having a medical emergency. Officers met with Mr. Riser at the hospital, where he told police he had been drinking but only had “two bourbons.” He also informed police he was charged with a DUI in South Carolina 5 years ago, but a conviction wasn’t located during a search. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

DUI: Lydia Wilson says she had 2 beers, 2 glasses of wine & was on way to another pop-up bar

Police say 26-year-old Lydia Wilson drove head-on into a guard rail on the exit ramp of I-40E at exit 219 in the early hours of Sunday morning. She claimed the airbags randomly deployed, causing her to crash. She admitted to consuming “2 beers” before driving but refused to say how long ago or what size beers. She later revised that to say she had “2 glasses of wine at the GOAT bar in Mt. Juliet” and was on her way to the Christmas pop-up bar at the Noel Hotel in downtown Nashville. Officers say she reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests.

Dalton Holdman charged with DUI after Saturday crash

27-year-old Dalton Holdman was involved in a car crash Saturday and, when asked what happened, told police he didn’t remember and that everything was “still a blur.” He reportedly reeked of alcohol and had slurred speech during his interactions with officers. Inside the car, officers found an open beer can with only a small amount of liquid remaining inside. He was transported to Vanderbilt for minor injuries and later charged with driving under the influence (DUI).

DUI: Nicholas Giallombardo hits man with car, says “the crackhead walked in front of me”

36-year-old Florida Man Nicholas Giallombardo left Hooters just after 9 p.m. on November 22nd and hit a man which his vehicle as he approached a nearby stop sign. Police arrived to find the victim on the ground yelling at the driver. Giallombardo told police, “the crackhead walked out in front of me!” Officers noted that two of Giallombardo’s tires were on the pavement, while the other two were located off the pavement and into a drainage ditch. Officers report he was visibly intoxicated and smelled of alcohol. Giallombardo admitted to drinking two shots and “some beers” within the hour prior to driving. He was taken into custody and charged with DUI.

51-year-old Nicole Noe crashed her Saturn SUV into a utility pole on Charlotte Ave late Sunday night but reassured responding officers that her suspended license wasn’t relevant, as she wasn’t “driving,” she was “traveling.” She repeatedly told officers, “I’m a nurse at Vanderbilt,” as she adamantly refused all medical treatment, stating she would know if she needed medical attention. She admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the day, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She was taken into custody and charged with DUI. Records show that Noe received her CNA license with the state in 2003, which expired in April 2022.

Metro Nashville Police say 31-year-old Daanwayne “Wayne” Northern was unconscious behind the wheel of his black SUV when they found him collided with a barrier wall at 14th & Broadway in the early hours of Thursday morning. Luke Ratliff refuses to cooperate after DUI traffic stop on I-40: 102 in a 70mph zone

It took the presence and force of three THP Troopers and two Metro Nashville Police officers to escort 40-year-old Lucas Andrew Ratliff from his vehicle to the ground after a DUI traffic stop and assistance from two security guards at Metro General Hospital to hold him down for a forced blood draw on November 21st. Troopers initially stopped Ratliff on I-40, where he was paced at 102 mph in a 70 mph zone. During the traffic stop, Ratliff would not make eye contact with officers and had slurred speech, and refused to exit the vehicle, stating he “does not want to.” A warrant was granted for his blood, and he was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail and charged with DUI.

DUI: Moonshine Mama Felicia Caneva was belligerent with first responders trying to help her

45-year-old Felicia Caneva crashed her 2022 Toyota Prius in South Nashville late Saturday night after “a few drinks,” according to Metro Nashville Police. Officers arrived at the scene to find her being belligerent with Nashville Fire Department medics and yelling profanities at them. She then demanded the responding officers drive her home. She was arrested and charged with DUI. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a glass jar of suspected moonshine was located, about 3/4th full. By the time she arrived at the booking, the transporting officer reported she was in “a deep sleep, snoring.”

DUI: Soldier Joshua Dagrin casually walks away from crashed car after injuring woman

26-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Joshua Dagrin, who was recently named the ‘Iron Warrior of the Week’ of the Rakkasans, crashed his vehicle into another vehicle at 17th and Broadway in the early hours of Saturday morning and casually walked away from the scene. The injured driver of the other vehicle stated she watched Dagrin walk away from the accident, and Dagrin’s passenger, Danielle Caron, confirmed that Dagrin was the driver. He was located up the street and admitted he drank “a couple of beers” before driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking.

Adam Wilson flees after DUI crash in East Nashville

Police say 37-year-old Adam Wilson crashed into another vehicle in East Nashville late Sunday night and then fled south on Gallatin Pike. Wilson was driving a Toyota Tacoma and had lost a tire and was dragging debris as he sped away from the accident scene. Eight minutes later, a citizen reported the Tacoma on his street, kicking up sparks as it hobbled along West Greenwood Avenue. The citizen observed Wilson get out of the truck and detained him until police arrived moments later. Wilson reeked of alcohol, and there was a half-drank can of beer in the center console.

Metro Nashville Police say 39-year-old David Dybala crashed his vehicle into another near 1100 Broadway Wednesday and fled the scene. Officer located him as he was driving away toward the interstate onramp. Officers approached the vehicle, which stopped, and Dybala exited without any prompting. Police say 35-year-old Brittnye Denen was driving on I-65 late Wednesday night when she swerved into a lane and almost collided with a marked MNPD patrol vehicle. The officer followed her for approximately one mile, and she continued to swerve and drive erratically. During a traffic stop, Denen admitted to drinking “a beer” prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Metro Nashville Police say 27-year-old Jarrod Allender was “crying hysterically” when they located him inside his Jeep Cherokee in the Music City Center parking garage in downtown Nashville. Allender had just crashed into at least three vehicles in an attempt to exit the garage. When asked how much alcohol he had consumed, Allender stated, “12-13 shots.” He would only suck on the breathalyzer nozzle instead of blowing into it, so that test could not be completed, and a blood draw was conducted at Metro General prior to being booked.

22-year-old Asya Hangul called 911 just after 10 p.m. Monday night and stated she had just hit another vehicle but that vehicle and taken off from the scene. As Officers responded to another crash a half-mile before this one, it quickly became apparent that Hangul was the driver of the car that did both the crashing and the fleeing. Metro Nashville Police received a call Saturday that a vehicle crashed downtown at 4th & Deadrick, and the involved parties were being “disorderly” in the street. Officer arrived to find 30-year-old Kevin Meyers and his girlfriend Kaitlin Pharris outside the car, which he had just driven into a utility pole. Witness Mike Moore says he watched the couple get into the car, and it quickly took off at a high rate of speed and crashed. Kaitlin told police the couple had been downtown drinking, and she told him not to drive, but he was persistent. Kevin says he was arguing with his girlfriend and “pushed the gas pedal a little too hard,” causing the crash. Police say Kevin reeked of alcohol and charged him with DUI.

He was found slumped over the driver’s seat and was eventually awakened by knocking on the window. DUI: Kaedee Miller Hembree says she took Seroquel and Percocet prior to nodding out on interstate

Police say 28-year-old Kaedee Miller Hembree struck one vehicle on Interstate 40 on Wednesday before coming to a stop in a lane of traffic just before 7 p.m. Responding TDOT crews report she was awake and alert and then suddenly lost consciousness while they were present. Nashville Fire responded and administered Narcan and eventually revived Miller, who admitted to taking her prescribed Seroquel along with an unprescribed Percocet shortly before driving. She was charged with DUI 2nd (she was convicted of a DUI in March in Murfreesboro) and driving on a revoked license.

Tinder date with George Stoddard goes terribly wrong in downtown Nashville

Allison Merriman says she was on a Tinder date late Monday night in downtown Nashville with 52-year-old George Stoddard, and it was their first time meeting in person since finding each other on the app. After a night of being at the bars on Broadway, they shared an Uber back to the Staybridge Suites hotel, where she and some friends were staying while in town this weekend, and where he had left his car parked. During the short ride 1.5 mile ride, she says Stoddard became agitated and jealous, believing she was flirting with the rideshare driver. Once they arrived at the hotel, Stoddard began to physically fight both her and the driver, punching her in the face, and dislocating her pinky finger. One of her friends, who was also staying at the hotel, came downstairs and attempted to break up the fight and kneed and punched Stoddard multiple times until he attempted to flee. As Stoddard got into his own car, he crashed into another vehicle in the parking lot during his attempt to flee the scene. He was charged with both assault and DUI.
