Tourist Sean Sweeney bashes bouncer in head with beer bottle at Honky Tonk Central

34-year-old Sean Sweeney was upset as security at Honky Tonk Central was closing the 2nd floor late early Friday morning, demanding to know where his lost debit card was. The bouncer advised Sweeney should go back downstairs, where the venue management could assist with a lost car. Sweeny refused to leave the now-closed second floor on his own and was being escorted out by security when he grabbed a glass beer bottle from the bar and struck Samuel Gehrts on the head four times. Sweeney is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Jessica Leatherwood found passed out in bathroom of Honky Tonk Central, says husband left her at the bar

43-year-old Jessica Leatherwood was found passed out in the bathroom of Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning. As Metro Nashville Police Officers arrived to check on her, she seemed very intoxicated and confused. She says she was at the bar with her husband, and he left her there. When officers attempted to assist her in getting back to her hotel, she became verbally aggressive and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Julia Fellows deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville

Security from Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville alerted officers working the Entertainment District to 22-year-old Julia Fellows who had fallen onto the ground as she exited the bar with her mother. Officers called for NFD medics to respond to assist Fellows and assess her injuries, however, she repeatedly kicked at police and medical personnel, refusing any and all assistance. Her mother stated she was unable to control her in her current state of intoxication and also couldn’t take her home in her current state. Due to her extreme level of intoxication, officers transported her to booking and charged her with public intoxication.

Kristin Walker charged after punching woman at Honky Tonk Central in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police responded to a fight at Honky Tonk Central and arrived to find the victim, Samantha Cowan, with a bloody nose. Security Staff witnessed the assault and pointed out 38-year-old Kristin Walker as the person who punched the victim in the face for no apparent reason when walking by her. Officers were in the process of issuing a misdemeanor citation when Walker made it clear she would not sign any citation. She was then taken into custody and charged with assault.

Colorado Tourist Joshua Shannon unable to pay tab at Honky Tonk Central in downtown Nashville

40-year-old Joshua Shannon, of Grand Junction, CO, is free on pre-trial release after Metro Nashville Police say he ran up a bar tab of $289.34 at Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville and was unable to pay it. Officers responded to the venue just before 6 p.m. Thursday, where he attempted to pay using all four credit cards, each of which was declined. During his arrest for theft of services, officers recovered and charged him with a small amount of marijuana in his pants pocket.

Michael Riedel determined to party at Honky Tonk Central; punches a bouncer after being kicked out

Security at Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville escorted 37-year-old Michael Riedel out of the venue for being disorderly, and he continued to attempt to come back inside. As he was being removed a subsequent time, he reportedly punched one of the bouncers. Metro Nashville Police arrived to assist and observed Riedel swaying on his feet and obviously overly intoxicated to the point he was unable to spell his own name. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Joshua Trott arrested in downtown Nashville after being too drunk to dodge a Nashville Fire vehicle.

Nashville Fire Medics were responding to a call in downtown Nashville just before midnight when they encountered 31–year-old Joshua Trott outside of Honky Tonk Central at 4th Avenue and Broadway crossing the street and refusing to yield for the emergency vehicles to pass. Eventually, and with great difficulty, he moved out of the way, causing a delay in the response time to the emergency. Police encountered him after the incident and found him to be heavily intoxicated and placed him into custody.

Metro Police say 26-year-old Brian Best tossed his friend’s shoe into a crowd of people walking on Broadway in downtown Nashville after he had been drinking at Honky Tonk Central. He initially came to the attention of police after fighting with another person over an Uber ride, but the other person left the area when police arrived. Brian continued to shout and curse at police, and refused attempts to calm the situation. His girlfriend, Amberly Comeau confirmed he was intoxicated to police.

24-year-old Blake William Miller was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday evening just after 8 p.m. as he caused a disturbance at Honky Tonk Central and refused to leave after he was kicked out of the bar. Security eventually had to call Metro Police Officers and encountered Miller, who initially claimed to have left his debit card inside, but then changed his mind about its location, and noticed he was heavily intoxicated. After Miller continued to refuse to leave the premises, he was transported to booking, and charged with public intoxication.

46-year-old Michael Reynolds began to record Metro Nashville Police officers on Broadway in downtown Nashville, telling them you’re going to be on the news tomorrow!” as they were in the process of arresting him for public intoxication. Reynolds was outside of Honky Tonk Central causing a scene as bouncers would not let him back inside the bar. He became irate when officers asked him to leave and began yelling even causing a disturbance. He was charged with public intoxication and transported to booking. As it turns out, Reynolds would be the only one making the news after this incident.

The citation was issued last night and a decision on the amount of the fine will be made during the court appearance.

36-year-old Kelly Roberts was charged with domestic assault after she began attacking her husband in a taxi over an argument that began at Honky Tonk Central and found its way back to their room at the Comfort Inn. Kelly punched her husband multiple times, tackled him, and cut his face with a razor and cut her own wrists as well and tried to jump over the railing at the hotel but was saved by her husband.
