Man assaults 3 MNPD Officers, grabs one by her ‘genital area’, per report
30-year old Onreka Gray kicked MNPD Officer Sekou Samassi in the leg, and while MNPD Officer Laura Mullin was assisting Gray in walking into the Sally port at booking, Gray grabbed Officer Mullin on the upper part of her leg, and grabbed her ‘genital area’, causing ‘offensive contact, per an arrest report.
He then slipped and fell on the wet floor, got back up, and kneed Officer Jankiewicz in the left inner thigh.
He ate the heroin as police approached; Nicholas Essex, arrested.
34-year-old Nicholas Essex is free on a $7,000 bond after Metro Police say he ate heroin as they approached his vehicle Monday. No drugs were actually located.
Impostor ‘massage therapist / manscaper’ arrested at Bellevue’s ‘Lavish Lounge’
37-year-old Angelica Lashae Elliott was arrested by Metro Police Friday, after they replied to her ‘Manscaping and massage services’ ad on a website called ‘RubRatings’. She is charged with impersonation of a licensed professional, and operating without a massage license. Elliott is free on a $1500 bond.

22-year-old Morgan Jenkins was booked into a Nashville jail at 2:04 a.m. Sunday morning on warrants charging her with vandalism and harassment from a 2018 incident during which police say she called her ex-boyfriend more than 151 times in a single day, then scratched “my heart cannot take this damage” into his front door.

Nashville Rapper ‘BlaccBoiJuice’ arrested after fleeing from Airport Police – $132K bond
22-year-old Chris Harris, better known as Nashville rapper ‘BlaccBoiJuice (IG Juice_10K)’, remains jailed in lieu of a $132,500 bond after a fleeing from police in a stolen Lexus, and crashing. He had the keys to another stolen vehicle in his pocket, and had an outstanding warrant from February, when he fled from a traffic stop in yet another stolen vehicle.

A routine traffic stop in North Nashville, where both occupants of a vehicle denied having drugs and refused a strip search, resulted in DCSO Booking officers finding their buttocks stuffed with heroin and cocaine. Ladarrius Page & Ronnie Sims were arrested.
Adam Leslie indicted on attempted rape charge
34-year-old Adam Leslie was arraigned this week on one count of attempted rape, after the Davidson County Grand Jury returned an indictment on the 2017 incident that occurred at a Brick Church Pike hotel.

Kenneth Traylor, a 46-year-old a correctional officer at the Davidson County Sheriff’s office has been arrested for beating an inmate in the face, in a January incident at the jail. He was arrested late Tuesday evening, and near immediately freed on pre-trial release.

29-year-old Joseph Blakely is currently held in a Nashville jail in lieu of a $5,250 bond after being arrested at the DMV on Hart Lane late Monday afternoon, and then vandalizing the back of a patrol car.

Douglas Alan Crews was taken into custody Sunday, March 31st – the day before his 48th birthday, for a warrant that’s been outstanding for 20 years. On July of 1999, Commissioner Houston Hagar signed a warrant for Crews’ arrest, charging him with a felony drug offense.

Marvell Thomas, 31, in custody after he and an accomplice are accused of forcing their way into a home, firing shots during a drug-related robbery, fleeing in a stolen car while being chased by a neighbor in her vehicle, while shots were fired at her too. Jonathan Harrington, 33, is now charged with vandalism, after police say he urinated on a Metro Nashville Police Officer’s private vehicle, and smashed the back window with a stone. Harrington had an interaction with another Metro Officer earlier in the day.

Thomas James Cain, III, 47, was booked into the Davidson County jail just before 1 a.m. Wednesday morning, charged with possession of a firearm while drinking in bar, after his handgun slipped from his waistband onto the dance floor of Kid Rock’s Big Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse in downtown Nashville, and another patron found it.
Woman charged with Class B Cocaine felony (8+ years) gets 6 months probation in plea
53-year-old Vicki Melvin now has 36 charges spread among 21 arrests. Her most recent was on Monday, when Metro Police charged her with a Class B Felony for crack cocaine, which would have carried an 8+ year sentence. The DA’s let her plea to a simple possession charge with a 6 month probated sentence, less than 24 hours after her arrest.
