35-year-old Derek Harrison was jailed Saturday evening after causing a disturbance at the 7-Eleven on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Security initially detained him after he was drinking alcohol in front of the store and then locked himself inside of the restroom. TSU Police wakes up sleeping man at Riverfront park to arrest him — Jonathan Counts
TSU Police Officer William Bottoms says he found 35-year-old Jonathan Countsasleep at Riverfront Park in downtown Nashville just before 6 a.m. on a Wednesday morning. He charged him with criminal trespass, noting the park closed at 11 p.m. It is unclear why TSU Officers were patrolling Riverfront Park at 6 a.m. and the department has not responded to inquiries about this story.
Officer Kevin Steiner wakes up homeless man to arrest him for trespassing at 7 a.m.
48-year-old Jason Conner was sleeping on 3rd Ave South in downtown Nashville at 7 a.m. on February 10 when Metro Nashville Police Officer Kevin Steiner woke him up and determined he smelled alcohol and was trespassing onto the property of 201 3rd Ave S. He took Conner into custody and charged him with criminal trespassing.
Tony Spurlock arrested during MNPD’s “Illegal Camping Patrol” in downtown Nashville
Metro Nashville Police Officer Garrett Short woke up 51-year-old Tony Spurlock as he slept on the bank of the Cumberland River at 11 a.m. on February 14. Officers noted they were conducting “extra patrols for illegal camping” as part of the quality of life team at Central Precinct. Officers noticed the no trespassing signs and that Spurlock had a previous warning, so they took him into custody for criminal trespassing. During a search incident to the arrest of the sleeping man, officers located two glass pipes on his person and additionally charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia. This was his first arrest in Nashville.
Van Darby Miller pepper sprayed at 7-Eleven after refusing to leave the property
Police say 24-year-old Van Darby Miller was trespassing at the 7-Eleven on Broadway in downtown Nashville late Sunday night and refused to leave. Both the security and an off-duty Millersville Police officer had asked him to leave the location, and eventually, Metro Nashville Police had to be called. Before their arrival, Miller was in an argument with the security guard, Isaac Thurman, who pepper-sprayed him.
Nashville Police arrest man on drugs at Rescue Mission — Patrick Miller
31-year-old Patrick Miller was pointed out by the staff of the Nashville Rescue Mission to the police as someone who wasn’t allowed to be at the mission. Officers spoke with Miller, who refused to leave as he had nowhere else to go, and noticed he had very dilated pupils and was making incoherent statements. He was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass and public intoxication.
Zachary Owen says he can break into Opry Mills Mall because his family are all country singers.
40-year-old Zachary Owen told police he was attempting to enter Opry Mills Mall at 1:30 a.m. on February 6 to “hang out inside” and that he’s allowed on the property because “all his family are country singers.” Mall Security had caught him inside the mall after-hours the previous day and escorted him off the property. Owen was transported to booking and charged with criminal trespass.
Tyler McDuffie booted from Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville
23-year-old Tyler McDuffie was kicked out of Kid Rocks’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville just before 1 a.m. Saturday after assaulting security staff. After being trespassed from the venue, McDuffie returned while extremely intoxicated. Nearby officers took him into custody and charged him with criminal trespass.
Austin Cox was hootin’ and hollerin’ at Yee-Haw Brewing and refused to leave when booted
29-year-old Austin Cox became disorderly and refused to leave Yee-Haw Brewing in downtown Nashville late Saturday night. Bouncers say he continued to return multiple times until he was eventually detained for trespassing. They flagged down nearby officers who took Cox into custody and charged him with criminal trespassing.
Palwan Sadeq & Mardan Sadeq charged after vending from hot dog stand on private property downtown
28-year-old Palwan Sadeq & 30-year-old Mardan Sadeq were vending from their hot dog cart on November 27th at the Hilton on 4th Ave in downtown Nashville when they were approached by Metro Nashville Police, who say they were warned the night before that this was private property and vending wasn’t allowed in this area. Both were issued citations for criminal trespass and were booked on the charges this week.
Alexis Skerrett jailed after breaking into bedroom of a former lover
Police say 19-year-old Alexis Skerrett broke into the bedroom of her former lover, Autumn Jones, with who she also lives. Jones stated she had set up a security camera in her bedroom a few days prior, to make sure Alexis didn’t take any of her property while she was gone for a few days. While she was away, she received an alert on her phone that someone had entered the bedroom, and the video shows Alexis standing in the hallway through the now open door, along with two other people. The video then goes black. Skerrett was charged with criminal trespass and jailed on the charge.
Tourist Christopher Taylor kicked out of Hustler Strip Club in Nashville
35-year-old Wisconsin tourist Christopher Taylor was kicked out of Larry Flynt’s Hustler strip club in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Monday morning for reportedly inappropriately touching a dancer. He refused to leave the property despite multiple demands from the management of the establishment. Metro Nashville Police arrived at the location, and he continued to refuse to leave the strip club. He was transported to booking and charged with criminal trespass. Taylor was married to Kelsey Jones in October of 2022.
Jill Harp to West End Hotel: “I’m staying here, with or without a room!”
43-year-old Jill Harp was found in the lobby of the Graduate Nashville Hotel near Vanderbilt in the early morning hours of January 6. Police say she was not a guest of the hotel, and security had asked her to leave the property multiple times. Harp reportedly told security she needed a place to sleep and was going to stay at the hotel “with or without a room!” As officers arrived to take her into custody for criminal trespass, she slipped her handcuffs once inside the patrol car, and she maneuvered in a way that allowed her to attempt to kick out the back window during transport to booking.
Joseph Conley floated naked in rooftop hottub while police onlooked & awaited his departure
28-year-old Joseph Daniel Conley was charged with public indecency and criminal trespass in the early morning hours of December 26th. Police say Conley was found naked in a rooftop hot tub by the security staff of The Placemakr Premier SoBro apartment complex on Demonbreun St. Police asked him to leave the hot tub. Still, he continued to float naked while they awaited his departure from the water. After police threatened to forcibly remove him from the tub, Conley eventually exited the tub and got dressed for his ride to booking.

32-year-old Edgar Montero was jailed Thursday night after jumping down onto and running across the field at Nissan Stadium as the Titans vs. Cowboys game ended. He is free on pre-trial release.
Tourist Anthony Bauer threatens to “R-Kelly” someone in jail until they have a ‘happy ending’
19-year-old tourist Anthony Harold Bauer was asked to leave the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel late Sunday night as they determined he was not a guest at the hotel but was relaxing on a couch in the lobby, but he refused to move from the couch. He was visibly intoxicated, and despite multiple requests from officers, he refused to leave the hotel. As he was being placed under arrest for trespassing and public intoxication, he tensed up and resisted arrest. Once at the patrol car, Bauer attempted to head-butt officer Reynolds and was escorted to the side of the vehicle, and he spat on officers twice during a struggle to get him seated inside. Once at booking, Bauer exclaimed, “I’m going to p** in someone’s mouth, and they’re going to org*sm.”
Anthony Chappell jailed after smoking marijuana on 27th floor of downtown Nashville hotel
31-year-old Anthony Chappell was arrested this past Sunday morning by petty Metro Nashville Police Officer Cory Fetner after staff at the JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Nashville reported he was smoking marijuana on the 27th floor of the hotel. Police were flagged down by staff after Chappell refused to leave. Chappell, who has no priors in Nashville, was taken into physical custody and charged with criminal trespass and possession of one-half gram of marijuana.
Marco Takla was handcuffed at Hustler Club Nashville – but not in the way he wanted
22-year-old Marco Takla caused a disturbance at Hustler Club Nashville in the early hours of Friday morning, and security called Metro Nashville Police for assistance. Officers arrived to find Marco Takla arguing with security, who had asked him multiple times to leave the property. Officers gave him the opportunity to walk away and off the property, at which point he began arguing with the police officers. He was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass.
Adriana Batey booked on 2020 citation for trespassing at Stratford High School
21-year-old Adriana Batey was booked this week on an outstanding warrant for failing to be booked on a state citation from 2020. The citation alleges she was trespassing in the gym of Stratford High School at 8 p.m. on a Wednesday with her boyfriend. She stated she came to the school with her boyfriend so he could play basketball in the gym. He was also cited and took care of his citation last year.
Tony Gainous repeatedly kicked out of Vanderbilt Football game after jumping gates to re-enter
41-year-old Tony A. Gainous is charged with public intoxication and criminal trespass after his behavior at a Vanderbilt Football game last week. Vanderbilt Police initially responded to an individual, identified as Gainous, who was sitting in the wrong section. It was soon discovered he did not have a ticket to the game and was escorted outside the gates. A short time later, he jumped the gate and drunkenly ran onto the football field, stumbling and falling. He was issued a criminal trespass warning and again escorted from the property. Still not deterred, Gainous then jumped Gate 2 to get into the stadium. Tired of dealing with his antics, Vanderbilt police took him into custody and transported him to booking downtown.
Annaliese Mickelson refuses to leave Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville
Bar staff at Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse were attempting to remove 25-year-old Annaliese Noel Mickelson from their establishment Friday night, and she refused to leave after multiple requests. She continued to berate the staff verbally and became aggressive toward them. Bar security detained her for trespassing, and Metro Nashville Police arrived and took her into custody.
Joshua Hudson charged with trespassing inside St. Thomas midtown hospital
Security at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital caught 30-year-old Joshua Hudson trespassing on the property on October 27th. When asked what he was doing inside the hospital, he provided false information as to his business inside the hospital. Security noted that he had made his way inside the hospital on prior occasions and had been asked to leave on those occasions and not return. He was issued a state citation for criminal trespass and was booked on that citation on November 14th.
Josiah Laforme refuses to leave Rippy’s Honk Tonk after bad behavior
24-year-old Josiah Laforme was asked to leave Rippy’s Honky Tonk on Broadway in downtown Nashville late Friday night due to his behavior. LaForme refused to leave and asked where the restroom was located, instead of the front door. He then became confrontational and pulled away from the bouncers, and was detained until police arrived.
William Jenkins charged after sexual incident at Vanderbilt University Parking Lot
Vanderbilt University student Kristen Lambert says she was in a campus parking lot when 34-year-old William Lozelle Jenkins walked up to her car and approached her driver’s side window, blocking her from leaving. He reportedly unzipped his pants, lowered them, and began to pleasure himself while telling Lambert, “I’ll make your ***** wet,” and “my drugs will make you *** faster.” Officers located Jenkins and took him into custody after a brief struggle and the assistance of additional officers. He had an encounter earlier in the day where he was intimidating and following a Vanderbilt employee and was told to leave the property at that time.
Tourist Leo Shane Webster charged in assault of bouncer at Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville
40-year-old Leo Shane Webster of Canby, Oregon, was booked this week on a citation charging him with the assault of Brian Theriac, who is a bouncer at Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville. Staff says he was initially removed from the venue for being disorderly, only to return to the location a short time later and punch a bouncer in the chest. The incident was captured on video.
