Assault: Brendan Burns swipes wand from traffic control guard in downtown Nashville

24-year-old Alabama Tourist Brendan Lamar Burns is charged with assault/fear of bodily injury after police say he approached a security guard working traffic control in downtown Nashville and took the wand from her hand. He reportedly swung the wand around and then at her, causing her to fear the want would strike her had she not ducked out of the way. Another nearby guard detained Burns until police arrived and took him into custody for assault. Police say he was intoxicated at the time of the incident, which occurred at 6th & Broadway.

Lucas Emily charged after trying to fight & yelling racial slurs at cops at Jelly Roll concert

Police say 22-year-old Lucas Emily took off his shirt and assumed a fighting stance at the Jelly Roll concert at Bridgestone Arena Friday night as he attempted to fight other patrons. He caused such a disturbance he had to be removed from the venue and refused to comply with commands from officers when they attempted to escort him out. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and yelled obscenities and racial slurs toward officers attempting to place him into a patrol car, and he refused to get inside. Officers restrained him and placed him inside the car for transport, and he then kicked at the officers while continuing to cause a disturbance.

Kyle Coffin had an “even flow” of alcohol at the Pearl Jam concert in Nashville

39-year-old Kyle Coffin was being so annoying and disruptive to others in section 115 of Bridgestone Arena during the Pearl Jam concert this weekend, Metro Nashville Police were dispatched to the area. Officers observed Coffin to be extremely intoxicated and belligerent. He was unable to care for himself and was being an unreasonable annoyance to the public, so Coffin was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

46-year-old Richard Jones was found “walking aimlessly around the parking garage” near the Bridgestone Arena late Saturday night for an extended period of time. When approached by officers, he was extremely intoxicated and slurring his speech. He had keys in his hand as if he was searching for a vehicle. When asked how much he had to drink, he replied “a lot.” He was alone and unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Brian Benter charged with public intoxication in the middle of his work-day in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police say 44-year-old Brian Benter was planning on going back inside Bridgestone Arena to work with industrial equipment Tuesday afternoon after “having a few drinks” in the middle of his work day. Police came into contact with him after concerned citizens called to report a fight between him and a co-worker, William Poeggel, who were fighting in the parking lot nearby and witnessed one of them being pushed into a Whaley FoodService company van. The men would not tell police what the fight was about, however, due to their level of intoxication and inability to behave like grown adults in public and while at work, they were taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

William Poeggel arrested after fighting with co-worker in downtown Nashville while both were sloshed

A concerned citizen called Metro Nashville Police after seeing 51-year-old William Poeggel fighting with his co-worker, Brian Benter, in a parking lot near Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville Tuesday afternoon. The two were reportedly in a physical fight and one pushed the other into one of their white Whaley Foodservices branded work vans during the struggle. They wouldn’t tell police what the fight was about, but both were reportedly extremely intoxicated and could barely stand. Poeggel attempted to light a cigarette and fell forward and lost his balance in front of officers. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Police say 26-year-old Trevor Alexander Davenport has now confessed to sending sexually explicit videos and images of himself to a 16-year-old boy via Snapchat. The incident happened on March 12th, while Davenport was working at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The 16-year-old male victim disclosed the incidents in the days after the event to the Franklin Police Department, who interviewed Davenport. Davenport is free on a $50,000 bond.

24-year-old Michael Ozzy was recording a hockey game at Bridgestone Area when he was asked to stop the activity. He reportedly continued as was eventually asked to leave the game due to not following the house rules. He left to appease security, then returned right back to the property. When officers explained he was under arrest for criminal trespass he fled. He was apprehended after a short foot pursuit, near 7th Ave & Broadway. Police say he pulled away and resisted arrest.

Bartender Jasalyn Barg charged with DUI 2nd Offense in East Nashville

28-year-old Jasalyn Barg crashed her vehicle in East Nashville on March 19th, and responding officers say she reeked of alcohol. She initially agreed to perform field sobriety tests, but once walking to a safe place to conduct them, she did not continue any of the tasks. Due to her unsteadiness, slurring her words, and smelling of alcohol, she was taken into custody and charged with 2nd offense DUI. On the way to booking, she tinkled in the backseat of the taxpayer taxi. She is additionally held on a warrant from Dickson County.

31-year-old Travis Schmidt was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday night after he was found laying on the floor inside a women’s restroom at Bridgestone Arena and refused to get up. She then kicked the windows from inside the car, demanding to be let out of custody. She eventually admitted to consuming “three drinks”. 45-year-old Erin A. Savage told police she did open-hand slap her boyfriend of 18 months during a verbal argument at last night’s KISS concert, at which time off-duty officers detained her. The victim told police he was slapped, but did not wish to prosecute, and had no visible injuries, however the police prosecuted on his behalf.
