20-year-old Taylor Conyers faced multiple charges after she and another person knocked on the door of a juvenile neighbor, pushed into the home, and began to attack a juvenile female. The two reportedly “jumped” the victim, punching her in the face before fleeing. Officers arrived and reviewed video doorbell footage of the two entering and exiting the apartment. Garrett Nash charged in assault of girlfriend after night of drinking on New Year’s Eve

26-year-old Garrett Nash and his girlfriend, Savannah Gulley Decker, were drinking with friends in downtown Nashville on New Year’s Eve when they got into a verbal argument. They shared an Uber back to Lichey Ave, where each had parked their own car at a friend’s home for the evening. As they waited there in their separate vehicles for the homeowner to also return, Garrett reportedly became impatient and wanted to return home to Clarksville. He reportedly demanded his girlfriend get into his car so they could leave, and she refused. She says he then pulled on both of her arms, leaving red marks on them. The homeowner arrived and asked Garrett to leave, but he refused. Officers then responded to the scene and determined him to be the primary aggressor in a domestic assault, and he was transported to jail.

Jeffrey Gingrich charged in assault of ex-boyfriend as he gets on top and punches him

54-year-old Jeffrey Gingrich is charged with punching his former lover, Charlton Hollars, in the face and their shared residence Wednesday evening. Mr. Hollars says he was sitting on the couch when Gingrich approached him aggressively with his chest puffed out and punched him out, causing him to fall to the ground. Roommates Cody Sandford and 24-year-old Anna Curp were in an argument at their Bell Road apartment when Sandford went to his room in order to de-escalate the situation, locking his bedroom and bathroom door to prevent her from gaining any access to continue the argument. 25-year-old Brent Chandler Harris was observed punching his girlfriend, Kendall Baker, in the back of the head by an officer working traffic control at 4th & Broadway in downtown Nashville. The victim told police the two were arguing about which bar they were going to next, and she disagreed with him, so he punched her. Harris admitted to the assault and was taken into custody with a twelve-hour hold, leaving Baker to go to any bar she wanted without anyone disagreeing.

28-year-old Robert Harris was charged with domestic assault early Tuesday morning after his girlfriend disclosed to police that Robert had slammed her face into the dashboard of his vehicle during an argument and then strangled her while pushing her against the passenger seat. The victim, Ivy Shoults, who is also pregnant, refused all medical assistance and seemed only to suffer injuries to her lip, which was busted and bleeding. Police say 22-year-old Racheal Holt arrived at the residence of Julian Sowell in 2020 and just began fighting him and beating him with a diaper bag before swapping to using her hands. 26-year-old Robert “Craig” Toney was jailed this weekend on multiple charges of domestic assault and vandalism after a night at the Opryland Hotel left the rural Georgia family in a bloody brawl. Craig initially was in a verbal argument with his girlfriend, Kelsea Lafferty Toney, and he grabbed her by the throat, strangling her, knocking her to the bed, and then to the floor, assaulting her the entire time. Jessica Baker says her boyfriend, 28-year-old Hunter L Eavenson, slapped her while they were at the Tin Roof in midtown Saturday. After they returned home for the night, the argument continued and she told Eavenson he needed to leave. Another physical altercation broke out, during which he reportedly tackled her to the ground and punched and kicked her in the ribs while she was on the ground. Eavenson’s brother-in-law pulled him off the victim, and she was transported to the hospital with injuries to her right arm, right shoulder, and rib pain. She says she got in one punch in self-defense. Eavenson told police he put her in a choke hold, but nothing else happened. She then reportedly began to assault her boyfriend on his face, leaving fresh marks and cuts which were documented by officers. Officers determined Meaghan Cormack to be the primary aggressor and took her into custody, charging her with domestic assault.

22-year-old Halee Anne Persinger and the father of her children, Isaiah Cooke, were visiting her parents earlier this week when she became upset that she no longer had custody of her children and couldn’t take them back with her. Jonny Vereecken charged in domestic assault after both parties claim the other is at fault

Metro Nashville Police responded to a domestic disturbance call just after 10 p.m. Sunday after officers say both parties attempted to report the other for assault. 30-year-old Jonny Vereecken told police he was just lying in bed when his girlfriend, Debbie Williams, just came in and began punching him on his back, and then punched him in the chest as picked her up and moved her out of the way when he attempted to get up to walk the dogs.

Debbie had a much different story and told police they had been having relationship issues. Earlier on Sunday, she says she caught him at a bar when he stated he was somewhere else. She says they were arguing about their relationship when he picked her up from behind and chipped her tooth with his hand as he placed her back on the ground. She says only after her tooth was chipped did he call 911 and claim he was also assaulted. Police say both parties were drinking, and each claimed the other was the primary aggressor. Due to the girlfriend’s injuries and other factors, Vereecken was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody.

Pennsylvania Couple brawl it out in Dream Hotel Elevator in Nashville — Kevin & Kasey Bledsoe

A married couple from Pennsylvania came to Nashville this weekend and ended up behind bars after they brawled in the elevator of the Dream Hotel in downtown Nashville. 42-year-old Kasey Bledsoe and 45-year-old Kevin Bledsoe were both charged with domestic assault with bodily injury after officers viewed a security video that shows the couple in a verbal argument in the elevator of the hotel when Kasey pushed her husband with substantial force against the wall and strikes him on his head with an open hand, leaving a visible injury on his head. Kevin is then seen punching his wife in the head, also leaving a visible injury. He then shoves her head onto the floor.

Callie Carder assaults boyfriend multiple times, upset she can’t drive while drunk

Late Sunday night Metro Nashville Police say 23-year-old Callie Carder was at her workplace at Fifth and Broadway when she called her boyfriend of two years, Caleb Gaw, and stated she was extremely intoxicated and about to drive to their home. Gaw immediately rushed to the location to pick her up, along with a co-worker who would be dropped off along the way. An argument began and continued the entire ride, where Carder was upset she was unable to drive, and she reportedly continued to assault her boyfriend and made continued and repetitive attempts to “rip the steering wheel out of his hands.”

After the friend was dropped off near Edmondson Pike, the argument escalated, and he stopped the car at the Ellington Ag Center as it was unsafe to drive. Carder then retrieved her metal weed grinder and bashed it into his forehead, leaving a one-inch laceration. He ripped it from her hand and tossed it out the window, and called 911 during this period, but the call ended. He then drove the car the remainder of the way home to separate himself from her, and she assaulted him again on the way inside.
