Citizens called police to report teenagers were firing pellets from a water pellet gun at random people in downtown Nashville late Friday night. Officers located one of the teens, 18-year-old Eli Sherrill, in a parking garage at 314 Church Street. It was determined Eli’s truck was parked in the garage, and as officers approached, they could see the handle of an actual handgun under a tire in the bed of the truck; it was loaded with a round in the chamber. Showdown at Juicy Seafood in Antioch — Linda Edouard pulls a gun on ex’s baby mamma

23-year-old Linda Edouard was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant charging her with an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at Juicy Seafood in Antioch. The warrant alleges that in November, Linda pushed up against Tanesha Jenkins, who was at the restaurant with her four-year-old daughter. Jenkins says Linda put a hard object against her back. As Jenkins was leaving the location, an argument ensued, and as they were both exiting, Linda reportedly pulled a gun from her waistband, pointed it at the victim, and threatened to shoot her. The child’s father, who is Linda’s ex-boyfriend, witnessed the incident.

Soldier Tyler Rakar pleads and cries to not be arrested for his drunken antics in downtown Nashville

26-year-old soldier Tyler Rakar was kicked out of Whiskey Row late Friday night in downtown Nashville. After being removed, an officer met him outside and attempted to get him a ride home due to his extreme level of intoxication. As he pretended to call for a ride on his cell phone, he moved away from officers and attempted to re-enter Whisky Row by forcing his way through the exit doors. Rakar began to plead and cry not to be arrested and was staggering when attempting to stand. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Collin Erdman cried and begged not to be arrested for DUI — he was walking

26-year-old Collin Erdman was found on the streets of downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning, where he says his roommate had just dropped him off to avoid a DUI. When officers encountered him, Erdman had just thrown his cell phone, which struck a random woman and caused her lip to bleed. He was reportedly extremely intoxicated and kept crying and begging not to be charged with DUI (despite being on foot). The woman refused to press charges, and Erdman was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Michael Farmer — too drunk for downtown Nashville

Patrons near Jason Aldean’s Bar flagged down officers working the Entertainment District late Saturday night to alert them that a very drunken 27-year-old Michael Farmer was staggering around and pulling on random door handles. Officers made contact with Farmer, who was typing random letters into his phone while staggering. He was described as incoherent, with slurred speech and repeated words and phrases. As he was being taken into custody, he was unable to sit upright in the back of a patrol car. He claimed to have only consumed 2-3 alcoholic drinks.

Cookeville’s 50-year-old Gary Rob Brown was kicked out of Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge on Broadway in downtown Nashville in the early morning hours of Feb 1 for disorderly behavior. He then sat on the sidewalk directly in front of the business, blocking patrons, and refused to move. Metro Nashville Police Officers arrived and only received nonsensical responses to questions they asked him. Brown repeatedly called officer Maximillian Goldberg “Taylor Swift” and “Steve Jobs” and stated he wanted to kiss him. He requested medical assistance but refused it when they arrived. An officer described his state as “in a heightened state and continuously speaking in a stream-of-consciousness manner that did not have any logical direction.” As he was being taken into custody for public intoxication, Brown reportedly began spitting in the direction of onlookers and shouting obscenities at them.

Nashville ICU Nurse charged with vehicular homicide after drunken hit-and-run — Julia Naldjian

Police say TriStar Centennial Medical Center ICU nurse Julia Naldjian struck and killed a pedestrian on October 27 after leaving the Tin Roof Bar and fled the scene. She was booked on multiple charges overnight, including vehicular homicide. The victim, Amelia Lamping, was visiting with her husband from Ohio. Jihan Sindy says her 32-year-old husband, Kadhim Alshaikhi, would not let her sleep in the early hours of Monday morning. She attempted to ignore him and not interrupt her sleep; however, he continued to cause conflict and threatened to take their children away from her. When she continued to refuse to engage in his antics, Alshaikhi reportedly punched her twice on the side of her face. He then took her cell phone from under her pillow to prevent her from calling the police. He then threatened to kill her with a knife while moving to the kitchen and retrieving a knife from the drawer. She locked her bedroom door to prevent him from entering.

Ray Hockaday charged with stalking and domestic assault of ex-girlfriend

55-year-old Ray Hockaday was jailed overnight, charged with the stalking and domestic assault of his ex-girlfriend. Arrest reports state the couple ended their relationship last summer. Since the relationship ended, Hockday spent days showing up at her home despite being told not to contact her anymore. She received multiple texts showing he was at her location, which neighbors confirmed as they observed him in his white Mercedes. He would stop and ring the doorbell and drive around the block multiple times. He would also leave items at her doorstep. At one point after the breakup, the two had a verbal argument which led to the victim being punched by Hockday as she was exiting the vehicle. Officers documented bruises from the assault. Warrants were issued for the arrest of Hockaday, who lives in Williamson County, last year. He was booked on the outstanding warrants overnight.

Police say 37-year-old Denylle Boden was found asleep in front of an apartment on Rice Road in Antioch with her breasts exposed to the world. Officers initially responded to a report of someone attempting to get into an apartment. Officers woke Boden from her sleep, and she seemed confused and agitated. She insisted she lived at the apartment she was attempting to get into, but it was not her apartment. Her correct address was located on her ID, but she refused to allow the police to take her home. She was unable to stand or walk and was unable to be left on her own. She was transported to booking and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

21-year-old Kellen Brabson faces felony marijuana possession charges after directors of the Ford Residence apartments at Tennessee State University responded to a maintenance request inside his room. As Mr. Wynn and Ms. Lewis entered the room, they reported smelling marijuana and decided to conduct a room inspection. They located multiple bags of marijuana, totaling 30 grams, scales, a grinder, bags, and edibles inside the room. TSU Campus police were called and determined that he was selling marijuana. Branson admitted to ownership of all the discovered items.

Raymond Rizzo says his 26-year-old girlfriend, Marcy Reed, slapped him on January 31 at their shared residence. Marcy admits to slapping Raymond, saying it was in response to something “extremely insensitive and offensive” he said to her. Raymond admits to making the statement. Christian Peach says he confronted his 19-year-old sister Breanna Peach about having crystal meth in the house on January 31. When he advised he would call the police if she didn’t seek help for her drug habit, she reportedly smacked his phone and slapped him, and he grabbed her arms and pushed her against a wall to stop the assault. Breanna says she did smack his phone but didn’t hit him. Officers documented a red mark on the victim’s arm when what appeared to be a slap injury.

Model Malik Perry breaks boyfriend’s mirror, pours juice on kitchen floor during argument

21-year-old Malik Perry and his boyfriend, LaQuest Ware, were in a heated argument at 9 a.m. on January 31. Malik reportedly pushed Ware, tore up their shared apartment, and poured juice all over the kitchen floor, which was observed by responding officers. A mirror belonging to Ware was also destroyed by Malik in a fit of rage. Malik admitted the mirror solely belonged to his boyfriend and that he destroyed it. Perry was taken into custody and charged with domestic-related vandalism. At the time of his arrest, Perry was also served an outstanding warrant from 2020 for driving without a license.
