40-year-old Arron Machelle Denton was charged with domestic assault after she and her partner were invited to stay the night at a random couple’s house they met at the New Year’s Eve celebration in Downtown Nashville. Once at the host’s residence, Denton drank more, and became “extremely intoxicated, violent”, and was hysterical, according to Metro Police.

Teen sells stolen iPad to EcoATM using his own photo ID

19-year-old Ezekiel Mathis was booked into the Metro Jail Tuesday on several outstanding warrants, one of which alleges he sold a stolen iPad to an EcoATM in Antioch, using his own photo ID for the transaction. Other warrants charge him with fleeing from police in 2018, leaving a gun and stolen car behind.

MNPD negotiates with ‘sovereign citizen’ who is “provoking his 5th amendment right” for 35 minutes before it ends badly for him.

Metro Nashville police encountered sovereign citizen Devin Chesser on May 6th during a traffic stop. The man refused all requests, including rolling down his window, providing identification, or even speaking to them. A Sergeant arrived and negotiated with him for 35 minutes, while parked in a lane of traffic. He was eventually extricated from the vehicle by force.
