Metro Nashville Police say 18-year-old Germari Jones (locally known as prettyboyy.mari on IG) was in a physical altercation with Tyler Melvin in Antioch. Prior to their arrival, Jones tossed a ten-pound plate-style weight through a glass door in an attempt to strike Melvin with it. Jones refused to be detained by police for questioning and fled from them after being free from their grip and running to his apartment. He eventually unlocked the door and was placed into custody.

DUI: Michael Boswell rolls vehicle immediately after buying alcohol at convenience store

A convenience store employee says 52-year-old Michael Boswell was already “in an abnormal state” when he purchased alcohol Tuesday afternoon. Moments later he would roll his 2020 Ford Fusion within view of the store. As police and medics responded to the upside-down car, they documented multiple beer bottles resting on the inside roof of the car. They say Boswell’s breath reeked of alcohol, and he had slurred speech and glazy eyes. He has two prior DUIs in 2001 and 2003.

26-year-old Roshan Tamang says he had 4-5 shots of Hennessy prior to losing control of his vehicle and striking rock wall on Blue Hole Road in Antioch early Sunday morning. Police say both he and the vehicle “reeked” of alcohol. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, hopping, swaying, and wobbling during them.

Man charged after flashing handgun while drinking at South Nashville bars — Ulises Arzate

23-year-old Ulises Arzate is free on pre-trial release after police first received a call of a person who was flashing a gun in the parking lot of a Hooters restaurant in South Nashville after drinking inside. While officers were en route to the incident, Arzate walked to the San Jose Fiesta restaurant, where they located the man wearing a grey zippered hoodie. He had a bucket of Modelos on ice in the center of the table and one open one in front of him. When asked about a handgun, he raised his shirt and presented a tan Glock 43X MOS in his waistband. He admitted to having three beers while at Hooters and was charged with possession of a handgun while under the influence.

Woman charged in seemingly random brutal assault of boyfriend — Breanna Durrenberg

Braden Clark says he had just turned on the shower and was about to get in when his girlfriend, 20-year-old Breanna ‘Bree’ Durrenberg, began pounding on the bathroom door, pushed her way inside, and began screaming and assaulting him. When police located him at the Century Farms Emergency Department next door to the apartment complex, he was beaten and bruised, including a black eye from being punched and a bleeding cut to the back of his head where he was attacked with a glass cologne bottle. Metro Police say Jacques Jamar Smith called police after his girlfriend, 26-year-old Taquisha Burt, observed a SnapChat message pop up on his phone inside their Hickory Highlands apartment. She then threw a lotion bottle at him before running toward him, attacking him, leaving scratch marks on his back. He attempted to go outside and de-escalate the situation, however, Burt was not open to that option. Video footage corroborated the assault.

Commissioner Eugenia Grayer releases “I’m going to kill a Mexican” man on ‘ROR’ — Jeffery Mitchell

Twice within an hour on Monday, Metro Nashville police responded to a white male, later identified as 51-year-old Jeffery Mitchell, standing outside his Antioch apartment who was specifically threatening to hurt his neighbors, specifically chanting he was going to “Kill a Mexican” and told one of the neighboring children it was going to be her father specifically. The first time, officers told the man to go back to his apartment, and they say he promised to say inside the rest of the night. Thirty minutes later, officers responded to the second call, and the family presented video footage of the chants and threats, and Mitchell admitted to making the threats.

Officer Ashley Kappenmacher, seemingly reluctantly, took Mitchell into custody, charging him with disorderly conduct. Night Court Commissioner Eugenia Grayer released the man back to his home on his own recognizance (ROR), no bail, no pre-trial release, no restrictions, just hours after he was arrested.

Antioch man confesses to touching 16-year-old stepdaughter while pleasuring himself— Jarrus Garth

39-year-old Jarrus Garth, of Antioch, admitted to detectives during an interview that when his stepdaughter was 16-years-old he went into her bedroom while she was sleeping and touched her upper and lower private areas while pleasuring himself.

Man given $1500 bond for eating $2 worth of donuts inside Antioch Mapco — Robert Fathera arrested

53-year-old Robert Fathera was found sitting on the floor of an Antioch Mapco just before 10 a.m. Tuesday, his lips covered in white powder. Police determined he had taken two honey bunds and a pack of white powdered donuts from the shelf and consumed them while inside the store without any way to pay for them.

He was reportedly intoxicated, and had urinated on himself. Police charged him with public intoxication ($250 bond) and theft of merchandise ($1500 bond) and transported him to jail. The value of the stolen items was determined to one $2.00 by store management.

34-year-old Hadia Zkria is charged with the domestic assault of her husband after he showed police lacerations and injuries to his neck, wrist, and elbow, and a bite mark on his chest. Police were also able to view a video of the attack.

Her husband Elsadig Adam, states the argument happened after she asked him for money but he would not give her any, stating she did not work. Zkria is free on a $1,500 bond. When asked by an interpreter, Zkria stated ‘nothing happened’.

Nashville Beauty Influencer arrested after crash injures her passenger — Zulangel Pacheco @zdcpn

24-year-old Zulangel Pacheo, who has about 100K fans across social media platforms, was driving one of the vehicles involved in a crash on Saturday. Two people had to be transported to Vanderbilt with serious injuries. A person from the other vehicle had a broken femur, and the passenger in Pacheo’s vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries. Woman rams gate of Antioch Apartments when she feels threatened by security, she’s arrested — Emi Amador Canales

19-year-old Emi Amador Canales arrived at her gated apartment community, The Club Apartments in Antioch, at 4 a.m. but was unable to get the gate to open. She began honking her horn, alerting AEGIS Security Officer Jonathan Rickaway who began shining a light in her car, and causing the situation to quickly escalate as words were exchanged and she smacked the flashlight from his hand, hitting him in the arm. Taking offense to her reaction, Rickaway took it upon himself to reach into her vehicle and attempt to put her vehicle in park.

In reaction to a man reaching inside her vehicle, she began fighting Rickaway and eventually rammed the gates with her vehicle in an attempt to flee away from this security guard. Rickaway got one cuff on her arm during the struggle, however, she escaped to the backseat and grabbed her loaded handgun. Police eventually arrived and charged Canales with assault and vandalism. Rickaway faced no charges. Canales is free on pre-trial release.
