Conor McNamara charged with late-night DUI just days after turning 21

Late Friday night, 21-year-old Conor McNamara crashed his vehicle onto the sidewalk on 4th Ave South just near the Nashville City Cemetary. McNamara freely admitted he didn’t have a valid license to drive and that he consumed “one beer” about fifteen minutes prior to driving. Officers say he performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.098% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Conor is the son of Sean McNamara, the owner of McNamara’s Irish Pub.

Julia Fellows deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville

Security from Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville alerted officers working the Entertainment District to 22-year-old Julia Fellows who had fallen onto the ground as she exited the bar with her mother. Officers called for NFD medics to respond to assist Fellows and assess her injuries, however, she repeatedly kicked at police and medical personnel, refusing any and all assistance. Her mother stated she was unable to control her in her current state of intoxication and also couldn’t take her home in her current state. Due to her extreme level of intoxication, officers transported her to booking and charged her with public intoxication.

Noel Saad says man told her to “go lay in the road” while drunk in downtown Nashville; she obliged

27-year-old Noel Saad, who was recently arrested in Clarksville after being found so drunk outside of a bar that she couldn’t properly walk was arrested again this weekend, in Nashville. Just before 11 p.m. Saturday, officers working the Entertainment District Initiative noticed her in an extreme state of intoxication and laying in the middle of the intersection at 5th & Broadway. She refused to move, stating that an unknown male told her to “go lay in the road”.

Jamie McMaster kicked out of two downtown hotels for flipping tables, attempting fights, and trying to pull fire alarms

Metro Nashville Police Officers responded to the Westin Hotel in downtown Nashville after 34-year-old Jamie McMaster was reportedly attempting to fight other guests and threatening to pull the fire alarm for the building. As officers arrived at the location, security from the JW Marriott had also arrived to inform them he had flipped over a table at their nearby hotel, too. McMaster was taken into custody for public intoxication, and he stated he didn’t recall what had happened since the left a bar on Broadway earlier in the night.

Tristan Cummings kicked out of Kid Rock’s bar after grabbing & touching other patrons

Security at Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock n’ Roll Steakhouse says 25-year-old Tristan Cummings was kicked out for being unruly inside the bar. Bouncers received multiple complaints about Cummings grabbing and touching other patrons inside the bar and a large disturbance was developing. Metro Nashville Police arrived and took Cummings into custody for public intoxication. Cummings disclosed he had about 8 drinks while inside the bar.

Old man shoots at neighbor in prestigious Nashville neighborhood — Stephen Marstiller

On Sunday afternoon in the wealthy Forest Hills area of Nashville, 73-year-old Stephen Marstiller told his wife, Jeanie Marstiller, to grab his gun from the barn. Marstiller had been in an argument with a nearby neighbor, Robert J. Blake, who was walking in the creek along the rear of the property. The two had gotten into a fight and “grappled” near the creek, arguing over whether the creek itself was Marstiller’s private property while his wife recorded the incident on her phone. After the fight was over, the senior citizen took his .22 rifle to a bridge further down the creek and fired upon the neighbor, missing him by approximately three feet. Officers retrieved a total of three shell casings from the bridge, where Marstiller admits he fired a “warning shot” at the man.

Officers seized his gun and took him into custody, and he was home on a $12,500 bond just over two hours later.

DUI: Amber Collins found asleep behind wheel after nearly causing multiple crashes

A concerned citizen followed a red BMW driving by 27-year-old Amber Collins to a convenience store on Haywood Lance, concerned for her safety as she was reportedly swerving in and out of traffic and nearly caused multiple accidents. When police arrived, Collins had pulled into the parking lot of the gas station and fallen asleep at the wheel of her BMW, which was still running and near the gas pumps. After she was awoken she remained incoherent and was unable to answer questions. Inside the vehicle, officers found an open Smirnoff Vodka bottle, which was half empty.
She was charged with DUI.

Heather Guzman pushes husband through glass door & leaves him there; claims he did it to himself

Nathan Burkitt says after a night of heavy drinking he was in a 4 a.m. argument with his wife, 30-year-old Heather Guzman, and as the argument continued to escalate to a loud and aggressive state, he suggested that his wife leave the house so they could each have their personal space and rest. He says Heather then pushed him backward through a glass door, shattering it, and left him lying on the back deck, injured and bleeding. When police arrived and interviewed Heather, she claimed he must have been mad at a video game and head-butted the door, which didn’t match any of his injuries. She was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault with bodily injury.

Grant Williams charged with DUI after late-night East Nashville crash

28-year-old Grant Williams was involved in a vehicle crash near S. 5th St. & Crutcher St. and while speaking to responding officers, they detected an odor of alcohol coming from him. He admitted he had just come from a bar where he had “three beers” in the time shortly before the crash. After initially agreeing to field sobriety tests he became unwilling or unable to complete them.

He eventually blew a 0.132% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Marshall Brown charged with punching his brother in the face during argument

On June 23rd, a drunken Sten Brown called and told police that his brother, 23-year-old Marshall Brown, punched him in the face just under his left eye during an argument inside their share apartment several days prior on June 17th. Responding officers took photos of the victim’s injury and bruising. When interviewed about the reported assault, Marshall Brown admitted to punching his brother in the face.

Sten was too intoxicated at the time of his report to be taken before a magistrate, but because of the domestic relationship and the obvious injury, officers prosecuted for the assault and took Marshall into custody.

Brooklyn Campbell attempts to run over & shoots at her boyfriend during breakup

20-year-old Brooklyn Campbell was amid a breakup with her boyfriend, Carl (CJ) Hollingsworth, in May when they began to fight over a cell phone. Police say Brooklyn attempted to run over her ex-lover with her 2020 Altima while threatening to shoot up the area, however, he escaped by running in between two parked vehicles. She continued to plow into one of the parked vehicles, undeterred by his attempt to run away. She then pulled a handgun and fired it out the driver’s side window with several people in the immediate vicinity as she fled the area. Warrants were issued for her arrest, and she was jailed on them this week.

Adam Donato makes death threat after being kicked out of downtown Nashville bar

Metro Nashville Police working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville Thursday encountered 39-year-old tourist Adam Donato near 4th & Broadway, as he had just been ejected from a local bar due to being disorderly with patrons inside. As officers made contact with the heavily intoxicated man, he threatened to assault the MNPD officer and yelled “I will f-*-ing kill you if you touch me”.

Donato was taken into custody for public intoxication, and a commissioner set his bond at $10.

Power Poll CEO Bruce Dobie unable to pay employees; refused to let female attend meetings, citing ‘good old boys club’ — per lawsuit

Bruce Dobie, the sole member and creator of Power Poll, LLC, is being sued in Davidson County Chancery Court by a former employee who says the Nashville entrepreneur hired her with a quarter-million-dollar yearly salary and then abruptly fired her and others a few months later after he could no longer make payroll. Her job was to grow the company as Chief Operating/Chief Revenue Officer, however, she says Dobie would not allow her to attend meetings with potential investors because she was a woman and “Nashville is a good ole boys club” where “women are not usually allowed”, according to a quoted statement in the complaint. Despite repeated complaints about sexual discrimination, she says Dobie never addressed the issue.

Her employment contract states she’s entitled to a full twelve-month severance package, but she says Dobie won’t — or can’t — pay up.

Jevaughn Small charged after attacking former roommate who he couldn’t finesse into his bedroom

Dofton Reynolds says his friend and former roommate, 29-year-old Jevaughn Small, won’t stop trying to finesse him into being gay for him. After four months of alleged sexual harassment, he’s now taken the matter to police after he says Small attempted to run over him with a vehicle for denying his advances. He says Small continually tried to persuade him to come into his bedroom when they lived together, and once he moved out Small has tracked his whereabouts.

On May 8th at 8:40 a.m., Small attempted to run him down, and when Reynolds jumped away from the vehicle’s path, he says Small jumped out and physically attacked him in a struggle that lasted for a few minutes and left Dofton with injuries to his ride side of his body, his leg, and his left arm and hand.

Sean Stein refuses to exit plane when denied travel due to his extreme 4 p.m. drunkenness

35-year-old Sean Stein and a female were both denied boarding at the Nashville International Airport Monday afternoon due to their extreme level of intoxication at 4:25 p.m. Stein became aggressive with the flight crew when they advised he needed to exit the aircraft. He then became irate with officers who came to assist him off the aircraft.

He continued to refuse and was handcuffed while pulling away, resisting arrest.

William Driver III charged with processing fraudulent returns while working at PetCo

21-year-old William Driver III was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant from December of 2020, charging him with felony theft from PetCo, his former employer. Store Manager Jay Lowery and Loss Prevention Officer Randall Sneed confronted Driver about his thefts, and he confessed to a fraudulent return scheme. Court records detail that between September 28th, 2020, and October 5th, 2020, Driver would use legitimate customer receipts and process fake returns, taking the cash from the registers, and keeping it for himself. He was an employee for 9 months before this happened.

The total amount lost by the store was $1,188.96.

Kendra Howard charged with biting husband during an argument about him buying a vehicle

Police responded to Heron Point Drive on June 20th and met with Sheddrick Dewayne Howard, who explained his wife, 43-year-old Kendra Howard, had a verbal disagreement over him purchasing a new car. During the argument, and reportedly without any further provocation, he says Kendra then bit through the flesh on his left forearm, causing him to have a cut and a developing contusion, which was documented.

Kendra had fled the scene before officers arrived and a warrant was issued for her arrest. She was booked on the outstanding warrant the following afternoon.

Michelle Parrish slaps her son, who told police she was drunk, cursing him, and trashing her home

Michael Parrish told police who responded to the Seven Springs Way address in Brentwood, that his 64-year-old mother, Michelle Parrish, was drunk, cursing him out, and “trashing her apartment.” As officers were conducting the investigation, Michelle Parrish suddenly slapped her son on the head as he walked by her without any provocation or warning. Witnessing the physical assault, she was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Arsalan Gaudan charged in rape of child

19-year-old Arsalan Gaudan is charged with the rape of a child, who is currently 12 years old. Metro Nashville Police received a referral from the Department of Children’s Services, which was initiated by a school counselor. The juvenile victim disclosed to a counselor that she had been raped since she was 8-9 years old and that Gauden had threatened to kill her if she told anyone.

The incidents are alleged to have occurred in his bedroom at their residence.
