Cameron Lewis charged after threatening to shoot Antioch Taco Bell employee over wait times

39-year-old Eric ‘Cameron’ Lewis was issued a state citation for assault after he exited his Nissan Maxima and went inside an Antioch Taco Bell on June 13th and confronted employee Tykee Williams about the wait time, becoming very irate. When the front counter employee explained he was not going to be spoken to in that manner, Lewis reportedly stated he had guns in his vehicle and would get them and shoot the employee and come behind the counter and assault him. Lewis refused to answer any questions when police arrived and was issued a state citation.

Dakota Hobbs now charged with vandalism of ex-lover’s vehicle after being kicked out of his house

23-year-old Dakota Hobbs was booked earlier this month on a domestic assault charge against her lover, Gabriel Manning Welsh, and is now booked on a new vandalism charge from the same time period. After the assault of her (Hobbs was booked into male holding earlier this month, but is listed as a female on the most recent booking) lover, she was removed from the residence but did not have her phone as she was being kicked out. Her lover says she then walked around outside near his 2011 Jeep Cherokee and smashed out a rear brake light, destroyed a side mirror, ripped off the rear wiper, and damaged that motor. As the initial arrest focused on the domestic assault, the victim came to the Family Safety Center on July 7th to take out the additional warrant for the vandalism.

Paul Mikkelson deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville #Arrested #PublicIntoxication

Metro Nashville Police found 31-year-old Paul Mikkelson lying down near the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in downtown Nashville before attempting to stand and stumbling into the roadway at 4th Ave South, where he fell onto the sidewalk again. Upon checking his welfare, it was quickly noticed he was extremely intoxicated, and medics were called to respond to the location. Mikkelson refused all medical assistance and didn’t have a phone in his possession to call anyone to assist him. Unable to leave him in his current condition, he was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Nelanie Tardy charged with keying the car of her child’s father in dispute over Nashville heat advisory

34-year-old Nelanie Tardy came to the residence of her child’s father on June 15th at 8 p.m. to take the child to a softball game. The father, Stephen Scarborough, told Nelanie via phone that the child wouldn’t be going due to the heat advisory that was in effect for the city. Nelanie reportedly became upset and pounded on the residence’s front door, and she was given notice to leave the property, or the police would be called. She left, but not before she scratched his vehicle with the keys that were in her hand, causing approximately $300 in damage. A warrant for her arrest was issued, charging her with vandalism. She was booked on that outstanding warrant on Thursday afternoon.

Lindsey Jett charged in drunken assault of her mother in Nashville Motel

Amy Jett told police that her 19-year-old daughter, Lindsey Jett, “does this when she gets drunk” when describing how Lindsey attacked her mother, biting her wrist and her rib cage, and then strangling her with both hands. When police arrived at the Super 8 Motel on Royal Parkway, Amy explained the two had been taking shots together at another location earlier, and once back at the hotel room, an argument escalated. Officers documented bite marks and other injuries on the mother, along with ripped clothing. Lindsey had initially fled the scene before officers arrived but was taken into custody a short time later.

Roberto Gonzalez Valdes jailed on $75,000 bond for using a re-encoded card to steal $175 in gas

39-year-old Roberto Gonzalez Valdes is jailed in lieu of a $75,000 bond on a charge of criminal simulation of $1,000 or less. Officers, including agents from the Secret Service, observed Gonzalez use a programmed plastic card to pay for gas at Gallatin Pike Mapco station on Jul 13th. A vehicle search resulted in multiple gift cards that had been programmed using a card reader/writer to change the gift card number embedded in the magstripe on the card. He received $175 in gas during the current transaction using the altered card number.

Drunk Canadian Barrett Andrew Mckay found sleeping on a downtown Nashville sidewalk

Metro Nashville Police found a Canadian, 35-year-old Barrett McKay, asleep on a Nashville sidewalk early Wednesday morning. He was sleeping so soundly that it took multiple attempts to wake him from his slumber. Once awake, it was apparent that he was heavily intoxicated, had trouble forming sentences, and politely refused medical treatment for an apparent fresh injury to his right knee. He volunteered his Canadian identification card but was unable to relay where he was staying or arrange for anyone to assist him or pick him up from the area. He was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail and charged with public intoxication.

Gwen Morgan drives into brick wall after “two glasses of wine” #DUI

50-year-old Gwuenavere ‘Gwen’ Morgan was jailed just before daylight Tuesday after she drove into a brick wall at the intersection of Burton Hills Blvd & Cumberland Place. First responders found her unresponsive behind the wheel with the car still running. She told officers she fell asleep and drove into the brick wall. As she was speaking, it was obvious she had been drinking from the smell of alcohol coming from her person. She admitted to having two glasses of wine. Before field sobriety tests could even be started she fell down and had great difficulty standing on her own. She performed poorly on the tests she was able to take and refused a breathalyzer or any further testing. She was jailed and her car was towed to impound.

Joshua Weiler strangles his wife when she doesn’t want to hear about his bar fight

Amy Weiler says she was asleep when her husband, 34-year-old Joshua Weiler, came home extremely drunk and bragging about a bar fight he had been in. She asked him to be quiet, and he then reportedly began to berate her, call her names, and become increasingly aggressive, slapping her in the face. She says she spalled him back and then he began to strangle her neck, leaving clear finger marks on the side of her neck. She says he continued to slap and hit her in the face as she attempted to defend herself. She was transported to the hospital for a laceration and bump from being smashed into the headboard and to be monitored for the strangulation. Joshua was charged with felony aggravated assault/strangulation.

Jonathan Damelio charged with breaking his wife’s hip during argument over finances

Metro Nashville Police say Peggy Damelio was transported to the hospital after what was initially reported as a fall, however, once at the hospital she disclosed that the broken him and laceration to her forehead actually came from her husband, 68-year-old Jonathan Damelio, knocking her down during an argument. She says they had been arguing about loans and their daughter moving back home from Michigan when the assault occurred.

Genesis Gillenwaters charged with child abuse after concealing her son was raped by a family member

Metro Nashville Police say that during an interview with 23-year-old Genesis Gillenwaters, she confessed to knowing that her six-year-old son had been raped by a family member for approximately three weeks before the child made a disclosure about it to authorities. She stated she was “handing it through the family” and was getting both the child and the offender counseling instead of getting the police involved. She also stated she was aware that the offender still had access to and had been around the child even after she knew about the rape. She is charged with child abuse for allowing the child to continue to be around the perpetrator after the rape, and with failure to report child abuse.

Maleigha Webb-Boyd charged with felony child abuse after striking child twenty times, chasing him

Maleigha Webb-Boyd was jailed overnight on an outstanding warrant from last year, charging her with felony aggravated child abuse. Metro Nashville Police say a home surveillance system shows 35-year-old Maleigha Webb-Boyd telling a young child to come to her and pull his pants down, and when he doesn’t she replies “if I have to chase you down “I’m going to hit you wherever!” She then proceeds to strike the child approximately ten times before he runs away, at which time she follows him and strikes him ten more times before telling him he has “another one coming.”

Brian Benter charged with public intoxication in the middle of his work-day in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police say 44-year-old Brian Benter was planning on going back inside Bridgestone Arena to work with industrial equipment Tuesday afternoon after “having a few drinks” in the middle of his work day. Police came into contact with him after concerned citizens called to report a fight between him and a co-worker, William Poeggel, who were fighting in the parking lot nearby and witnessed one of them being pushed into a Whaley FoodService company van. The men would not tell police what the fight was about, however, due to their level of intoxication and inability to behave like grown adults in public and while at work, they were taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

William Poeggel arrested after fighting with co-worker in downtown Nashville while both were sloshed

A concerned citizen called Metro Nashville Police after seeing 51-year-old William Poeggel fighting with his co-worker, Brian Benter, in a parking lot near Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville Tuesday afternoon. The two were reportedly in a physical fight and one pushed the other into one of their white Whaley Foodservices branded work vans during the struggle. They wouldn’t tell police what the fight was about, but both were reportedly extremely intoxicated and could barely stand. Poeggel attempted to light a cigarette and fell forward and lost his balance in front of officers. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

She says Charles then busted down the door and jumped on top of her, strangling her across the bed until she had difficulty breathing. Kaydence Armstrong shoots up pawn shop who said she was dressed too provocatively

Police say 18-year-old Kaydence Armstrong entered the Easy Pawn store on Nolensville Pike wearing “provocative clothing” and inquired about pawning a cooler, catching the attention of two employees, Fabiola Perez and Orboll Mendez. The employees told her she was dressed too provocatively and would have to return when dressed more appropriately. She went to her vehicle, retrieved a gun, and fired two shots at each employee through the front windows and doors of the store.

Griffin Dunn charged with DUI after leaving Rusty Nail Bar in Hermitage

Metro Nashville Police say 23-year-old Griffin Dunn was traveling 63 mph in a 45 mph zone just before midnight Monday night and swerved between lanes multiple times. During a subsequent traffic stop, Dunn stated he was driving from the Rusty Nail Bar in Hermitage and was speeding because he was trying to get to a friend’s house. He admitted to drinking four drinks in the 45 minutes prior to driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.118% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Destiny Warren says she had 5 liquid marijuana drinks prior to DUI crash — tells a different story online

22-year-old Destiny Warren told police she drank five “liquid marijuana drinks” at a bar two hours prior to crashing her vehicle on Hwy 70. Officers arrived to find her vehicle in a ditch by a creek with Warren in the back of an ambulance. She stated she wasn’t injured and declined all medical treatment. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and told police she crashed because she was arguing on the phone with her boyfriend and lost control of the vehicle. On social media, however, she quickly posted that a “Black guy” must have drugged her drink — though she didn’t specify which of the five liquid marijuana drinks she downed was ‘altered’. Officers say she became very belligerent with them and began kicking the rear window of the patrol car once at the jail and refused all breathalyzer and blood tests.

Miracle Gober smashes car windows & punches friend in face with her blood-covered fists

21-year-old Miracle Gober was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant from last month, charging her with felony vandalism. Police say that on June 8th, Miracle was hanging out with her friend Jaylon Waters when they decided to visit his friend Marise Stewart, who Gober had never met. As they were all drinking heavily at Stewart’s apartment, Gober and Stewart got into an argument, and Gober was asked to leave her apartment, which she did. A short time later, Gober returned and knocked on the door, to retrieve her cell phone from Waters’ car to call an Uber. As he accompanied her to his car, Gober retrieved her items and then punched out his back window, shattering it with her bare hands, she beat multiple large cracks into the front windshield, and then punched him in the face with her blood-covered fists. Stewart had come outside to see what was taking so long and witnessed some of the assault.

Heaven Flanery charged with public intoxication after assaulting man outside Jason Aldean’s Bar

Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative early Sunday morning say 25-year-old Heaven Flanery was standing in front of Jason Aldean’s Bar when she grabbed a bystander by the chin, scratching him. She claimed to know the man she assaulted, however, the victim had no idea who she was. It was determined Flanery was very intoxicated and was unable to tell police where she was staying, who could take care of her, or where her phone was. Due to her inability to care for herself, she was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Ruth Beltran charged with ripping up her husband’s passport during an argument

Police responded to Rothwood Ave after Marcos Martinez contacted police to report his wife, 33-year-old Ruth Beltran, took his passport from their vehicle and ripped it up before tossing the remaining pieces into a dumpster. Marcos says the two were in an argument about her cheating on him. She had fled the scene before offices arrived and a warrant for her arrest was issued, charging her with vandalism. She was booked on the charge the following day.
