Meaghan Cormack charged in assault of boyfriend after instigating & recording their conversation

30-year-old Meaghan M Cormack and her boyfriend, Lewis Owenby, left Broadway late Friday night and were headed back to their Antioch Home when they stopped at a Nashville Fire Station, where police found them in response to a domestic disturbance call, just blocks from their residence. Lewis was driving her car, and police say both parties had been drinking heavily throughout the night. Meaghan believed there “might be issues between then” and began to record their conversation on the ride home. The audio recording revealed she provoked the victim as he yelled for her to stop. He says she continued to attempt to grab the steering wheel from him and take control of the vehicle from the passenger seat. She then reportedly began to assault her boyfriend on his face, leaving fresh marks and cuts which were documented by officers. Officers determined Meaghan Cormack to be the primary aggressor and took her into custody, charging her with domestic assault.

VIDEO: Jack Zuckowsky charged after fight with Kayden Blackwell in downtown Nashville

24-year-old Jack Zuckowsky was jailed in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning after he was observed in a fight with Kayden Blackwell, a well-known creator on TikTok and OnlyFans. Metro Nashville Police officers working the Entertainment District Initiative came upon the disturbance on Broadway and say Jack was so intoxicated he was unable to comprehend simple questions. As neither party wished to prosecute for assault, Zuckowsky was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

VIDEO: Influencer Kayden Blackwell (itsskbbb) jailed in Nashville after Broadway brawl

19-year-old Kayden Blackwell, better known to his nearly 1 million fans on TikTok as ‘@itsskbbb’, and to his OF followers as ‘lillboyjohnny,’ was jailed in Nashville early Sunday morning after brawling on Broadway. Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville were alerted to a fight in progress at 301 Broadway, where Blackwell was in a fight with Jack Zuckowsky. Officers observed Blackwell punch Zuckowsky, and they pulled him away from the tussle and placed him into custody. Blackwell reeked of alcohol and was spotted earlier in the evening drinking and accompanied by Tayler Holder at points during the evening’s escapade.

DUI: Logan Adams snorts Heroin after check-in with probation officer; crashes car

Concerned citizens pulled 24-year-old Logan Adams out of his Hyundai Sonata via the back driver’s side window after he crashed on I-40 on July 19th just after 7 p.m. They performed CPR on Adams until officers arrived to administer two 4 mg doses of Narcan, at which time he immediately regained consciousness. He was transported to the hospital, and while there, Logan Adams told police he had driven to Cheatham County to meet with his probation officer. After leaving there, he drove to a friend’s house in Nashville, where he snorted Heroin just fifteen minutes before driving again. The hospital kept him overnight for observation, so he was issued a state citation for DUI, which he was booked on this week.

Chicago couple Lori Haarmann & Eric Frostick jailed in Nashville after drunken downtown fight

Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville were flagged down by citizens on the sidewalk outside of Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, where an altercation was taking place between two tourists from Chicago, 45-year-old Lori Ann Haarmann and her husband, 48-year-old Eric Frostick. Multiple witnesses report Eric was pulling and hitting his wife while attempting to force her into a rideshare vehicle. Bouncers from the bar report her holding onto the railing and refusing to get into the vehicle with her husband while fighting back against his assault.

Eric denied any altercation when police arrived and told officers his ripped shirt and scratches on his body occurred “when we were having sex… that is how it happened.” Officers first arrested Eric for domestic assault and public intoxication, and then due to Lori’s level of intoxication and inability to care for herself, she was also charged with public intoxication.

Antioch: Komlanvi Houssounoukpe assaults wife, takes phone away when she calls 911

Metro Nashville 911 operators received a call on August 12th and heard a female, later identified as Maggie Rhodes, attempting to give an address in Antioch before a struggle ensued and she screamed “quit hitting me” as the line disconnected. Officers responded to the Antioch home, and she stated she had been arguing with her husband, 44-year-old Komlanvi Houssounoukpe, throughout the day, and he had punched her in the face several times. She explained he took her phone when she called 911, and he still had the phone in his possession when officers spoke to him. Officers documented several abrasions on the victim, including a swollen eye.

Regina Sullo kicked out of concert & charged with public intoxication in Nashville

36-year-old Regina Sullo was kicked out of a concert at Nissan Stadium on August 12th after APEX Security determined her to be too drunk and disorderly to abide by venue guidelines and she was causing a scene during the event. After she was escorted outside the stadium, she began to make her way back toward the entrance and attempted to re-enter the concert. She was stopped at the gate and denied re-admission, at which point she was taken into custody by Metro Nashville Police due to her level of intoxication. She reportedly reeked of alcohol, and her speech was slurred during interactions with officers. Sullo was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Robert Strieter kicked out of multiple downtown Nashville bars Thursday night

Metro Nashville Police working the Entertainment District Initiative Thursday night in downtown Nashville responded to the Mellow Mushroom on Broadway to find 33-year-old Robert Lee Strieter heavily intoxicated and unable to care for himself. Officers say he had been kicked out of several downtown bars throughout the night and was a danger and annoyance to himself and others. Strieter was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

DA Glenn Funk is prosecuting Tara Basham with felony burglary after $250 Walmart theft

Metro Police say 41-year-old Tara Michelle Basham entered the Walmart on Hamilton Church Road and filled a cart with items on which she replaced the original barcode with printed 0.67 cent barcodes. She then used the self-checkout to scan and pay based on the much 0.67 cents per item. The retail cost of the items would have been $256.82, according to AmandaSims with Walmart loss prevention. Loss prevention initially detained Basham and notified the police, but since they did not respond in a timely manner (it was over 2 hours before officers arrived after the initial call for police assistance), they had already released her when officers arrived. It was discovered that Basham had been banned from Walmart for life in May of 2020 and again in December of 2020, so the officer obtained a warrant for felony burglary. She was booked on that warrant this week.

Edgar Lucero charged with public intoxication in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police were dispatched to a disorderly person call at Demonbreun St & 2nd Ave S Wednesday night to find 27-year-old Edgar Lucero unsteady on his feet and visibly intoxicated. As they spoke to him, his words were slurred, and he reportedly reeked of alcohol. Due to his level of intoxication and inability to care for himself, Lucero was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Drunk on a lemon drop, Yolanda Matthews causes wild scene at West End Hotel in Nashville

Just after 9 p.m. Wednesday, Vanderbilt University Police responded to the Nashville Marriott Vanderbilt on West End after a guest had reported hearing a domestic disturbance coming from an adjacent room. Hotel staff confirmed the yelling and screaming coming from a third-floor room, and officers spoke with the registered guest, 54-year-old Yolanda Matthews. She advised she and her husband had a verbal disagreement, and she was going to go back inside her room and drink the remainder of her lemon drop as her husband was already outside the hotel.

While police spoke to her husband, Yolanda came downstairs and was irate with hotel staff and patrons. She was advised to return to her room; instead, she turned to her husband and screamed, “You MuthaF**ka, you did this!” and threw herself onto the ground in front of officers. She was collected from the floor and transported to booking.

Cody Blake Jordan charged in strangulation of girlfriend who he accused of cheating

Chelsea Serritella says as she was coming home Tuesday, her boyfriend, 29-year-old Cody Blake Jordan, began to follow her around the block, and once she arrived, he approached her and grabbed her by the throat while accusing her of cheating on him. She told police she had difficulty breathing, and officers observed visible red marks on her throat consistent with strangulation. Jordan was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Michael Hodges charged after assaulting woman’s buttocks with a dog leash in madison hotel

Jessica Reeves says she was at the WoodSpring Suites near Rivergate hotel with 31-year-old Michael L Hodges Wednesday morning when he used a dog leash to whip her several times on her left buttock and slapped her in the face during an argument. Throughout the day and evening, she states he had been drinking alcohol and became more aggressive with her, and eventually pushed her onto the bed and attempted to strangle her. She attempted to flee, and he pushed her as she made her way to the lobby. The hotel room was tossed with furniture flipped over.

Hodges then reportedly went to Hendersonville, where he made threats to shoot people, and then found his way back down Gallatin Pike to the Walmart parking lot in Madison where police found him wearing all black clothing in a black pickup truck. He admitted he was in an argument with his girlfriend, Jessica, and was taken into custody.

Christina Rebata jailed after refusing to leave Big Machine Distillery in downtown Nashville

29-year-old Christina Charlotte Rebata was asked to leave the Big Machine Distillery on 3rd Ave South in downtown Nashville multiple times Sunday and refused to do so. Staff contacted Metro Nashville Police, who arrived to find her still refusing to leave the bar. She was transported to booking and charged with criminal trespass.

Milos Petkovic jailed after fight at Twin Kegs II in Nashville

Metro Nashville Police responded to a report of a fight at Twin Kegs II near downtown Nashville and found 26-year-old Milos Petkovic across the street shirtless and with scrapes and cuts on his body. He reeked of alcohol and was slurring his speech. He stated he consumed two shots of Maker’s Mark and a Guinness beer at the bar. No one wanted to press assault charges, so officers offered to help him find a ride home due to his level of intoxication; however, Petkovic insisted he was not drunk and accused officers of having no dignity, no respect, and of insulting his family’s honor. He refused all offers of assistance to avoid jail and was eventually transported to booking.

Text to 911 is now LIVE in the city of Nashville

In a special called Metro Council meeting tonight about emergency response times in Nashville, the Department of Emergency Communications announced that the text to 911 service is now live in the city of Nashville. Noting that they currently only receive approximately 100 texts per month. If you can’t call, text your emergency to 911. Please remember that prank texting is a crime and is easily traced. In the first message, send the location and type of emergency, and please don’t text and drive. This is a great advancement for those in situations where speaking out loud could place you in danger and for those that are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired.

Kirk Neal charged after putting a cigarette out on his boyfriend’s head during breakup assault

26-year-old Kirk Neal is charged with domestic assault after his boyfriend, Lance Perlas, says Neal put a cigarette out on his head when he told him he wanted to end their relationship. He says Neal became extremely upset and physically aggressive and spit in his face and punched him. Neal then reportedly knocked him to the ground and climbed on top of him, and put out a lit cigarette on the back of the victim’s head while continuing to punch him. The victim’s brother, Charles Fine, was able to pull Neal off him, and his mother, Betty Fine, confirmed the events to the police. Officers documented injuries to the victim’s face, head, and knees.

Jordan Evans charged with aggravated rape of a 2-year-old child; prior rape-related charge not pursued by D.A. Glenn Funk

22-year-old Jordan Evans was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail this weekend, charged with the aggravated rape of a 2-year-old girl. Previously, Evans was charged with the statutory rape of a 15-year-old runaway juvenile he harbored in 2021. District Attorney Glenn Funk ended up not prosecuting that case. He is held in lieu of a $150,000 bond on the new charge.

Jordan Mac Hill charged with DUI after crash — blows 0.165% BAC

Metro Nashville Police responded to a traffic accident on August 14th with damage but no injuries. While speaking to one of the drivers, 22-year-old Jordan Mac Hill, officers observed him to have slurred speech and unsteady when standing up. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for driving under the influence. He would later blow a 0.165% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Downtown Bouncer Brandon Chapman fell asleep in hotel kitchen — assaults security who woke him

Downtown Nashville bouncer 30-year-old Brandon Chapman, or as he describes himself, a “professional adult chaperone,” was inexplicably found sleeping it off in the kitchen of the Omni Hotel at 3:14 a.m. on Friday, June 29th. Security attempted to wake him up and when he eventually realized where he was at told them he would leave when he was ready. He reportedly then became combative and lunged at the victim, Andrew Delobel, several times and grabbed his jacked, throwing him to the ground. The victim suffered minor injuries from the assault. Chapman was issued a citation and failed to self-book on the assault charge. A bench warrant was then issued for this arrest, and he was taken into custody early Tuesday morning.

Downtown employee Nicholas Shandik attempts vending machine heist from Kid Rock’s Bar

Metro Nashville Police say 30-year-old Nicholas Shandik, a well-known barback in the local service industry, along with an accomplice, attempted to steal a vending machine from Kid Rock’s bar at 1 a.m. on a Tuesday morning in May. Bar security confronted Shandick and his accomplice as they were on the elevator with the vending machine. The pair claimed the vending machine was being “taken for repairs,” which turned out not to be true. When they realized they were caught, they attempted to ambush two members of the security staff, charging up and attempting to push past them in an attempt to escape. As security detained them, Shandik struck one of the bouncers with an elbow strike and grabbed onto the other bouncer’s head. One of the bouncers was an off-duty officer. Citations were initially issued; however, Shandik failed to self-book and was taken into custody this week on all of the charges.

Tourist Sherri Curtis refuses to leave bathroom of Redneck Riviera in downtown Nashville

Late Friday night, 55-year-old Sherri Lynn Curtis was in the women’s restroom of the Redneck Riviera Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville when management asked her to leave the venue due to her behavior. She refused to leave the restroom or the venue, so police were called to remove her from the premises. As officers arrived and escorted her out, she began to curse and cause disputes with other patrons.

Once he was awake and aware, Hernandez refused all medical assistance. Due to his continued state of extreme intoxication, he was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Tyler Workman charged after rowdy night at Rippy’s Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville

25-year-old Tyler Workman was reportedly aggressive toward staff at Rippy’s Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville Saturday night and eventually assaulted a staff member. Bouncers then restrained and detained Workman and flagged down Metro Nashville Police. Officers attempted to place Workman in handcuffs, and he pulled his body away and resisted arrest. He was eventually taken into custody and transported to booking.

Shaley Morales kicked out of Nudie’s Honky Tonk but refused to leave

Bouncers at Nudie’s Honky Tonk on Broadway in downtown Nashville flagged down Metro Nashville Police officers to advise they had a female detained for trespassing after they located her in the alley behind the bar. Earlier in the evening, the woman, identified as 21-year-old Shaley Morales, was on the rooftop and was asked to leave due to her extreme level of intoxication. She was later found in the alleyway and continued to refuse directives to leave the property, and was jailed for criminal trespass.
