Marquita Lindsey charged in movie-plot level harassment of ex-boyfriend

36-year-old Marquita Lindsley is charged with the harassment of her ex-boyfriend, Cory Roberts, with whom her three-year relationship recently ended. Roberts told police that he was at his Priest Woods residence when the power was suddenly turned off at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, and when he looked outside, he noticed a maroon GMC Terrain parked near his house, and he assumed Lindsley was around his home as she had been attempting to communicate with him via any means possible. After the electricity was cut off, his phone began to ring, and it was Lindsley’s number, then a blocked number, then a facetime call, all belonging to Lindsley. She called him 33 times in the next hour before the police arrived. Officers located Lindsley as she attempted to flee the scene and charged her with harassment along with two outstanding felony warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

DUI: Latisha Cox drives downtown on blown tire and busted axle in wrong direction

25-year-old Latisha Cox was traveling North on 4th Ave N late Friday night in downtown Nashville, despite that being a one-way Southbound street. A traffic stop was conducted as she was driving on a blown tire and a busted front axle, in addition to driving in the wrong direction. She appeared heavily intoxicated and stated she had one margarita and two shots of tequila prior to driving. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests, which had to be stopped for her own safety.

Marijuana DUI: Jabreel Slater drives with two blow-out tires in East Nashville

30-year-old Jabreel Slater was driving his vehicle on South Main Street with two blown-out tires late Friday night. Officers located the vehicle on North Main and conducted a traffic stop. Officer Noah Werner says he could smell marijuana coming from Slater, and that Slater performed poorly on field sobriety tests. A search incident to arrest found a small amount of marijuana and a small unidentified pill. He is charged with DUI (marijuana).

Target Employee Romale Grant busted stealing Apple products from stockroom

21-year-old Romale Grant is charged with stealing $4,239 worth of Apple products from the White Bridge Target store, where he was employed. Police say during a two-week period, Grant took 8 pairs of 3rd generation AirPods, 8 Airpod Pros, and 1 iPhone 14. Grant admitted to taking the merchandise from the tech stockroom and concealing them in his clothing or a bag until he exited the store. He states he would then sell the merchandise “on the streets.”

Fabian Moore sexted his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend

39-year-old Fabian Moore is charged with unlawful photography, which is Tennessee’s watered-down version of the revenge porn law. Police say his ex-girlfriend of three years, Karina Abella, came to the Family Safety Center to report Moore had recorded sex acts between the two of them without her consent and sent it to her new boyfriend. Moore made admissions to sending the video, which demonstrated his past work, to the new boyfriend.

Cory Campbell: drunk and disorderly at Jason Aldean’s bar in Nashville

Metro Nashville Police responded to Jason Aldean’s bar in downtown Nashville in the early hours Sunday morning after staff reported 26-year-old Cory Robert Campbell assaulted an employee. Though the employee wasn’t able to immediately go to night court to prosecute for the simple assault, Campbell was observed by police to be heavily intoxicated. He was given an opportunity to have his friends take care of him, but after a period of time, he stated they were not coming. Unable to care for himself, Campbell was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Travis Heath deemed too drunk to function at the Nashville International Airport

Airport Police say 36-year-old passenger Travis Heath was observed to be extremely intoxicated at the Ole Red bar in concourse C at the Nashville International Airport just before 6 p.m. Saturday. Officers approached Heath and asked him for identification, but he had no idea where it was at. Despite attempts to arrange for someone to pick him up, Heath remained incoherent. Officers then loaded Heath into a wheelchair and transported him outside to ground transportation so he could take a cab off the airport property. Heath refused to get into a cab and urinated on himself. He was then taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to booking.

DUI: Moonshine Mama Felicia Caneva was belligerent with first responders trying to help her

45-year-old Felicia Caneva crashed her 2022 Toyota Prius in South Nashville late Saturday night after “a few drinks,” according to Metro Nashville Police. Officers arrived at the scene to find her being belligerent with Nashville Fire Department medics and yelling profanities at them. She then demanded the responding officers drive her home. She was arrested and charged with DUI. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a glass jar of suspected moonshine was located, about 3/4th full. By the time she arrived at the booking, the transporting officer reported she was in “a deep sleep, snoring.”

Ellen Brunetti jailed after refusing to stay out of medical assistance call in downtown Nashville

27-year-old Ellen Marie Brunetti refused to stop interfering with first responders who were assisting another individual in front of Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning. Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative say she interfered with the medics rendering aid to the other individual and refused to back away, despite multiple orders from officers. She was heavily intoxicated and continued to involve herself in the scene. Brunetti was eventually taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

John Cunningham charged in assault after being denied entry to Kung Fu Saloon

22-year-old John Cunningham and his friend, William Swanner, were denied entry to the Kung Fu Saloon late Saturday night due to their already high level of intoxication. Employee Elias Medina escorted the two away from the venue as they were refusing to leave. Medina noticed Cunningham had a rock in his hand and believed he was about to use it to assault him. He was then taken to the ground and detained until police arrived. The victim signed a private prosecution warrant for assault, and Cunningham was taken into custody.

DUI: Soldier Joshua Dagrin casually walks away from crashed car after injuring woman

26-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Joshua Dagrin, who was recently named the ‘Iron Warrior of the Week’ of the Rakkasans, crashed his vehicle into another vehicle at 17th and Broadway in the early hours of Saturday morning and casually walked away from the scene. The injured driver of the other vehicle stated she watched Dagrin walk away from the accident, and Dagrin’s passenger, Danielle Caron, confirmed that Dagrin was the driver. He was located up the street and admitted he drank “a couple of beers” before driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking.

Tourist Justin Martin found asleep on 3rd floor of Lentz health department after night of drinking

24-year-old Justin Martin was found asleep on the 3rd floor of the Lentz Public Health Center on Charlotte Pike in the early hours of Friday morning before the building opened. Security located him and called Metro Nasvhille Police, and Officer Martin Brown responded to the building and attempted to wake the man up from his slumber. It eventually took several sternum rubs to wake him up. He was assisted out of the building, and multiple attempts were made to get him to a different safe location; however, he could not remember the passcode for his phone or what hotel he was staying at. After declining all medical services and him too intoxicated to leave on his own, Martin was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Jimmy Funyak arrested after disturbance at Jason Aldean’s bar in downtown Nashville

Police say 32-year-old James ‘Jimmy’ Funyak was starting fights with other patrons in line at Jason Aldean’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville late Friday night. Security flagged down police officers, and Funyak initially left the area. He returned a short time later and was now stumbling and falling into the other patrons in line as well as those walking by on the street. Due to the great disturbance he was causing to everyone around him and his increased level of intoxication, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

21-year-old Kylee Hubiak was kicked out of Jason Aldean’s bar in the early hours of Saturday morning and was ordered not to return to the property. Metro Nashville Police officers advised her several times to stop attempting to re-enter the bar after she was bounced. She disregarded the orders and re-entered the bar. Due to her level of intoxication and inability to care for herself, she was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Police say 21-year-old Barstool Athlete Emily Heller of Long Island was extremely intoxicated when they encountered her attempting to enter Jason Aldean’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville. She was attempting to use her phone number as her identification, according to officers. The Florida Gators Lacrosse player was not with any friends that officers could locate to care for her. She had slurred speech and was having trouble standing. She was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to booking. She stated she was attempting to use her phone number as identification as she had left her driver’s license inside the bar.

Canadian tourist Tracy Wilde attacks husband and daughter-in-law during Nashville trip

60-year-old Tracy Wilde is charged with two counts of domestic assault after she reportedly got into an argument with her husband, Gary Frank Wilde, and her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Lynn Wilde, during a trip to Nashville. The victims say she became aggressive and ran at them, yelling, “I’m going to kill you!” prompting Rebecca to kick her in self-defense as she approached. This caused Tracy to fall and hit her head, but she immediately got back to her feet, and when her husband attempted to stop her from continuing her attack, she began kicking him in the stomach.

Ohio tourist Stacey Garman — drunk and disorderly in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police say 51-year-old Stacey Camron Garman was drunkenly beating on the cars of strangers during his trip to Nashville from Ohio. Officers arrived at the scene and located Garman sitting on a nearby bench, bleeding from his head. He was obviously intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was unable to locate his cell phone to call for a ride, and his wife, Lena Garman, was unable to be reached. After he was unable to tell officers which hotel he was staying at, Garman was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Rebecca Huffines charged in self-checkout theft at Walmart

47-year-old Rebecca Huffines is charged with theft after police say she walked into the Dickerson Pike Walmart, selected multiple items during a trip throughout the store, and failed to scan all of them at the self-checkout registers. According to Walmart’s loss prevention department, Huffines would scan one item while placing multiple unscanned items in a bag with it. Walmart reports the total amount she under-scanned as $119.95. She was stopped as she exited, and all items were recovered.

Michael Wachtman charged with DUI after parking in middle of roadway in neighborhood

Nashville Fire responded to a call of a white Chevy Taho parked but running in the middle of the roadway on Fitzpatrick Road on November 15th. They made contact with the driver, 34-year-old Michael Christopher Wachtman, who was visibly intoxicated and reeked of alcohol. He had to be assisted to the ambulance due to his level of intoxication. Metro Nashville Police officers arrived and noted a liquor bottle in a brown paper bag and several small open land empty small liquor bottles inside the vehicle. He would eventually refuse medical transport and was transported to booking.
