Ithaca Montessori school founder Marina Portillo attacks cheating husband, Dr. David Patzer

46-year-old Marina Portillo says she came home Thursday evening to find her husband, Dr. David Patzer, at the rear of their home with another woman, Tia Bryan. As Dr. Patzer told his wife he was leaving the house with Tia, Marina charged him and punched him in the chest and face. Responding officers documented bruising on his eye, broken glasses, a bloodied nose, and a cut on his chest.

Marina Portillo is the founder and director of Ithaca Montessori school in Nashville. Dr. David Patzer is the Medical Director of Addiction Services at Nashville’s Mental Health Cooperative.

Rebekah Dearmond drunk and disorderly at Nashville International Airport

31-year-old Rebekah Nicole Dearmond lost her bag at the Nashville International Airport and sought assistance from a Spirit Airlines agent. The two then approached an Airport Police Officer for further assistance. The officer noted Dearmond was visibly intoxicated and acting out during the search for her bag. The bag was eventually located, and Dearmond was asked about her plans for leaving the airport in her intoxicated state. She refused to contact anyone to pick her up and stated she didn’t have money for a cab or hotel room. As she continued to be argumentative and call the officer derogatory names in a loud voice, she was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to the Metro Nashville Jail.

Nicholas Daniels builds fort in building lobby after taking Ecstasy in Nashville

Metro Nashville Police say 27-year-old Nicholas Daniels took Ecstasy on November 29th before moving the furniture around in the lobby to “build a fort” in the Marq Music Row apartments on Division Street. After the fort was built, he discharged a fire extinguisher on the floor “to fight some demons,” he later explained. He repeatedly explained to the officers he was talking to CNN & BBC as he looked into their body-worn cameras. Daniels was taken into custody for his own safety and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Jada McReynolds charged with punching ex-boyfriend in face ten times during assault

Metro Nashville Police responded to Cube Smart Storage in October, where James Simpson stated his 26-year-old ex-girlfriend, Jada McReynolds, punched him in the face approximately ten times during an argument about their children while he was getting his things out of storage. Officers documented injuries to his face, a busted lip, and bruising around his nose and eyes. Jada had fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. She was booked on that outstanding warrant for domestic assault this week.

Kenneth Zook assaults girlfriend, accuses cop of trying to get her phone number

32-year-old Kenneth Michael Zook was drinking with his girlfriend, Kelsey Gazarek, at Tootsie’s in downtown Nashville on November 23rd. The two got into an argument when she was dancing with another man. Zook assaulted the man, and they were all tossed out of the bar for fighting. The couple went across the street to Walk of Fame Park, where he admits he pushed her off a concrete structure she was sitting on. He then accused the responding officer of attempting to get his girlfriend’s phone number and became verbally combative. He was transported to booking and charged with domestic assault.

DUI: Nicholas Giallombardo hits man with car, says “the crackhead walked in front of me”

36-year-old Florida Man Nicholas Giallombardo left Hooters just after 9 p.m. on November 22nd and hit a man which his vehicle as he approached a nearby stop sign. Police arrived to find the victim on the ground yelling at the driver. Giallombardo told police, “the crackhead walked out in front of me!” Officers noted that two of Giallombardo’s tires were on the pavement, while the other two were located off the pavement and into a drainage ditch. Officers report he was visibly intoxicated and smelled of alcohol. Giallombardo admitted to drinking two shots and “some beers” within the hour prior to driving. He was taken into custody and charged with DUI.

Emily Dryburgh charged with DUI after East Nashville disturbance call

32-year-old Emily Dryburgh was sitting inside a white Honda with the engine running when police encountered her on a disturbance call at 921 Woodland Street in the early hours of Wednesday morning. She advised she was involved in the disturbance that resulted in the call to police. Officers say they could smell alcohol coming from Dryburgh, and she had slurred speech. As she stepped out of the vehicle, it was apparent she was intoxicated. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI. Dryburgh is the co-founder of Young Music City and RNBW Music Collective.

Christopher Gainous jumps fence into Vanderbilt Stadium, attempts to headbutt Vandy fans

35-year-old Christopher Kyle Gainous was escorted out of Vanderbilt Stadium Saturday night after police say he jumped the fence and didn’t have a ticket to the game. He was told to leave the property and not return while he was screaming and yelling at Vanderbilt fans. After being escorted out, he re-entered the stadium and was part of a group that was attempting to run across the football field at approximately 8:30 p.m. As he was placed into cuffs, he continued to be disorderly and attempted to headbutt another Vanderbilt fan. Officers say he “reeked of alcohol” during their interaction.

DUI: Nicole Noe says she was “traveling, not driving,” so she can’t be charged #Jailed

51-year-old Nicole Noe crashed her Saturn SUV into a utility pole on Charlotte Ave late Sunday night but reassured responding officers that her suspended license wasn’t relevant, as she wasn’t “driving,” she was “traveling.” She repeatedly told officers, “I’m a nurse at Vanderbilt,” as she adamantly refused all medical treatment, stating she would know if she needed medical attention. She admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the day, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She was taken into custody and charged with DUI. Records show that Noe received her CNA license with the state in 2003, which expired in April 2022.

Love’s employee Toni Dunn stuffs $1900 into her pockets and flees down Trinity Lane on foot

Police say 18-year-old Toni Ernest Dunn was a brand new employee at the Love’s Travel Stop on Trinity Lane when on November 11th, she scanned a “no sale” card which caused both of the cash drawers to open. Knowing her co-worker, Jeffery Sauvie, had just stepped outside to the back of the store. She quickly grabbed $1,930 in cash from the registers and stuffed it in her pants pockets before fleeing the store. Police reviewed the security footage and used her information from her employment file to complete the arrest warrant for felony theft, which she was booked on this week.

Anthony Mayen drags wife down 2nd Ave by her hair during downtown Nashville assault

Metro Nashville Police say 39-year-old Wisconsin tourist Anthony ‘Tony’ Mayen was observed by multiple witnesses dragging his wife, Adrianna Mayen, down the sidewalk on 2nd Ave in downtown Nashville by her hair. Witnesses Rebecca and Megan Mogetz say the victim appeared helpless, and they yelled at Tony to stop. When he noticed police were approaching, he stopped assaulting his wife and walked toward Broadway. The victim stated she was afraid of further assault if they arrested him. As Tony was taken into custody, he yelled obscenities at the officers. Another officer confirmed that had taken a report involving Tony and another patron fighting at Miranda Lambert’s bar shortly before the assault on his wife.

Tyshecka Carter arrives unannounced and assaults ex-boyfriend who’s with a new woman

Demartin Robinson shares a child with 26-year-old Tyshecka Carter, and the two are no longer in a relationship. He says she showed up at his apartment with the child unannounced for an unplanned visit on November 25th. He was unprepared for a visit and had his current girlfriend at his home. Tyshecka reportedly was upset he had his new girlfriend at his home and became angry and aggressive at the door.

Not wanting to cause a scene his neighbors might see, he let her enter the house, at which time she sat the child down and immediately attached Robinson, tearing his shirt and leaving scratches on his body. She swung at him with a ceramic lamp, causing a laceration on his hand. She also destroyed his television and strangled him. She then drove away, but not before striking his car with her own. She was pulled over by a responding officer for a traffic stop immediately after the assault.

Wayne Northern says he didn’t drink before DUI crash

Metro Nashville Police say 31-year-old Daanwayne “Wayne” Northern was unconscious behind the wheel of his black SUV when they found him collided with a barrier wall at 14th & Broadway in the early hours of Thursday morning. Once he was awake and alert, Northern claimed she didn’t have anything to drink and was coming from his girlfriend’s apartment on Broadway. Officers report he reeked of alcohol and had slurred speech during their interactions. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for DUI.

Michael Lucero punches security guard in face in effort to get backstage at Ryman Auditorium

54-year-old Michael Lucero was intoxicated in front of the Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville late Wednesday night and advised security he had a pass to go backstage. It was explained to him he would have to wait for someone from the band to come up and get him. Lucero became upset and pushed the victim, Edward Perry, to enter the location. He thing punched the victim in the face, leaving him with a bloody nose. During questioning, Lucero stated that he “whooped his ass.”

SJJ Market owner Mina Ibrahim pulls gun on vendor who is repossessing drink coolers

Employees of the Keurig Dr. Pepper Beverage Company were at the SJJ Market on 40th Ave North, repossessing two drink coolers that were leased by the store’s owner, 36-year-old Mina Ibrahim. During the repossession, Ibrahim became verbally aggressive and attempted to physically stop the repossession. Ibrahim then retrieved a metal rod, and as the situation escalated even more, Ibrahim pulled a pistol on the employees. The victims left and notified police, who located the metal pipe and a located 9mm handgun at the store. Ibrahim was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Adam Smith asks MNPD officer what authority he has — and quickly finds out

33-year-old Adam Roy Smith put his hand on a Metro Nashville Police Officer’s shoulder and asked him why he had to leave and what authority the officer had to make him do so, as he was being kicked out of The Stage on Broadway in the early hours of Sunday morning. Smith had been involved in an altercation at the bar and was asked to leave. He returned later that night and became disruptive a second time, blocking other patrons from entering the venue. As police were taking him into custody for public intoxication, Smith became more aggressive and yelled and screamed at an officer, inches from their face.

Brian Mayers charged after bringing a gun to a fight in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police encountered 45-year-old Brian Mayers of Georgia at 3rd & Broadway after he had just been involved in a fight with multiple other individuals. None of the other individuals wish to prosecute for the assault. While speaking to Mayers, officers noticed his level of intoxication and his inability to care for himself. He was taken into custody for public intoxication. During a search incident to arrest, a loaded Springfield Armory 9mm handgun was located in his waistband.

Drunken Finland Tourist Janne Kiema attempts to enter home that isn’t his AirBNB

51-year-old Janne Petteri Kiema, a tourist from Finland, was found attempting to get into a home on Woodvale Drive that he believed to be his AirBNB. Officers arrived at the location and again explained this was not his AirBNB. Officers noted his extreme level of intoxication, and when asked the address of his AirBNB, he continued to give an address in Finland. He was unable to contact anyone for assistance and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

41-year-old Jason Anderson was kicked out of a downtown Nashville bar and refused service due to his level of intoxication. As he was being escorted out, he became argumentative and belligerent. Officers responded to the scene to assist and offered him a courtesy ride, but he refused. He was then offered to sober up at the hospital, but he also refused all medical assistance to avoid jail. Out of options, he was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
