24-year-old Alabama Tourist Brendan Lamar Burns is charged with assault/fear of bodily injury after police say he approached a security guard working traffic control in downtown Nashville and took the wand from her hand. He reportedly swung the wand around and then at her, causing her to fear the want would strike her had she not ducked out of the way. Another nearby guard detained Burns until police arrived and took him into custody for assault. Police say he was intoxicated at the time of the incident, which occurred at 6th & Broadway.

Lucas Emily charged after trying to fight & yelling racial slurs at cops at Jelly Roll concert

Police say 22-year-old Lucas Emily took off his shirt and assumed a fighting stance at the Jelly Roll concert at Bridgestone Arena Friday night as he attempted to fight other patrons. He caused such a disturbance he had to be removed from the venue and refused to comply with commands from officers when they attempted to escort him out. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and yelled obscenities and racial slurs toward officers attempting to place him into a patrol car, and he refused to get inside. Officers restrained him and placed him inside the car for transport, and he then kicked at the officers while continuing to cause a disturbance.

Chaz Vaughn tossed from Texas Troubadour Theatre in Music Valley

22-year-old Chaz Vaughn was removed from the Texas Troubadour Theatre on Music Valley Drive Friday evening after he became very animated while yelling and screaming and causing a general disturbance to operations at the venue. Metro Nashville Police arrived and noticed he could not stand without assistance and had to be restrained to be medically evaluated by Nashville Fire Department medics and screamed uncontrollably inside the ambulance. Once he was medically cleared, Vaughn continued to be a nuisance to the public and was transported to booking, where he was charged with public intoxication.

Rayna Holmes charged after breakfast brawl at Waffle House

Metro Nashville Police responded to the Waffle House on Donelson Pike late Thursday night for a fight-in-progress call. Officers separated the breakfast brawlers, and none of the involved parties wished to seek assault charges; however, they were all asked to leave the property. 29-year-old Rayna Holmes refused to leave and told officers she’d rather go to jail. Not wanting to disappoint anyone this close to the holidays, officers obliged her request and transported her to booking, charging her with criminal trespass.

Filipe Domingo Gomez charged in brutal assault of his pregnant girlfriend’s face

A citizen heard Brenda Elena Hernandez Fuentes screaming for help on December 7th and called 911. Officers responded to find Fuentes, who is pregnant, with swollen cheeks, and her face and shirt covered in blood. She stated she and the father of her unborn child, 18-year-old Filipe Domingo Gomez, were in her vehicle when he became upset when he could not locate his phone. He reportedly began striking her in the face repeatedly and then destroyed her cell phone. Officers noted his hands were covered in dried blood.

Pimp Darrow Fowler arrested in Nashville after report of woman being trafficked

Metro Nashville Police say 43-year-old Darrow Fowler was acting as a pimp for a woman being trafficked in Nashville. Detectives received reports about the trafficked woman and were able to locate her advertisements on an adult escort website. Officers made contact and agreed to meet at the Comfort Inn Downtown Nashville-Vanderbilt. Officers surveilled the hotel prior to the meeting time and observed Fowler exit the room just before the agreed-upon time to meet. He got into a white SUV that belonged to the victim.

As a detective entered the room, posing as a ‘John’, the woman’s phone rang with the contact name of “Best Friend,” and it was Fowler – police say this is a common tactic for pimps, or ‘promoters’ as they’re now being called. As Fowler attempted to drive away, nearby officers conducted a traffic stop, and he was taken into custody. He had all of her banking cards in his possession.

DUI: Lisa Choate crashes into parked cars, flips Hyundai Elantra upside down after drinking & smoking

Police say 60-year-old Lisa Choate crashed her Hyundai Elentra into two parked vehicles before flipping it entirely upside down in the middle of Morrow Road on December 4th. She was unable to explain how the crash occurred but did admit to drinking two 100 ml 99-proof Long Island Tea bottles and smoking marijuana prior to driving. Officer located multiple empty bottles inside her purse and outside the car. During a search, officers also located marijuana inside three plastic bags, a plastic container, and in a metal pipe. Choate would later blow a 0.159% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Jerico Roland charged in vandalism, upset his mother won’t return his firearm

Several months ago, LaShawn Roland took a firearm away from her 20-year-old son, Jerico Roland, after an incident. On December 4th, Jerico verbally argued with his mother when she refused to return the firearm. She says her son began to throw items around inside their Lenore Street home in East Nashville. Amid the items damaged was the LG monitor for her work computer. Due to the domestic nature of the vandalism, officers took Jerico into custody.

Nery Chajon Franco kicks wife in face while she’s on the toilet; then attacks his son

Laura Salazar Gonzales says she was sitting on the toilet when her 35-year-old boyfriend, Nery Chajon Franco, came into the bathroom drunk and kicked her in the face. She says the argument was about who should pick up the children from school. As she fled from the toilet, Nery reportedly followed her while yelling and threatening to kill her. He chased her and her two youngest sons through the front yard, grabbed her hair from behind, and yanked her onto the ground. She says he punched her in the face multiple times and strangled her.

Another of their sons came out of the home and attacked his father with a knife sharpener to try to stop the attack on his mother. He swung at his son three times and missed each time. When officers arrived, Nery attempted to flee and jumped a neighbor’s fence.

Ovalla Jobe, 65, charged with striking her brother with her car

Mose Jobe says his 65-year-old sister, Ovalla Jobe, drove toward him and used her car to strike him in his left leg. The incident reportedly happened in January when Ovalla was having her vehicle dropped off at her brother’s house. For a reason that wasn’t disclosed, she began to get into a verbal argument with one of her brothers, Mose. He says he was several yards away when she drove toward him in her vehicle and struck his left leg. She fled the scene, and Mose was transported to the hospital. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was booked on that warrant this week.

Booster Chevala Southall caught at Rivergate Mall, tells police who was helping her

Police responded to the Hollister inside Rivergate Mall Thursday afternoon, where security had 26-year-old Chevala Southall detained. During an interview, Southall admitted that she and a male she knew as “Trey” came into the store and staged nearly $2,000 in merchandise in preparation to steal it. They then left the store and drove the vehicle to the nearby breezeway, where they could run out of the store and into the car. The pair of boosters then re-entered Hollister and began to bag the clothes they had staged, and security was able to stop Southall as she ran out the door. The clothing in the bags she was fleeing with totaled $1,743.00. Trey fled the store, and Southall provided police with the information she knew about his identity.

A throuple wasn’t enough for Kaylum Futrell; he cheated with another person & it got wild

21-year-old Kaylum K. Futrell has been in a throuple relationship with both Carisa Murrell and Keyonia Stewart, and on Thursday they were all three at Stewart’s apartment, along with other friends. Someone at the gathering informed the two women that Kaylum just wasn’t satisfied with dating two women at the same time and had been cheating on them with a third, which he confirmed. The two women announced they were ending their relationship with him, and the throuple erupted into an altercation. Kaylum pushed Stewart out of her own apartment; he later stated it was so he wouldn’t hurt her.

A neighbor, Crystal Evans, heard the commotion and announced she was calling police. Kaylum then reportedly opened the door and assaulted Evans and her juvenile children, who were all outside. He then grabbed the branch of a tree and attempted to damage her vehicle, and then turned the branch on Evans, assaulting her with it, striking her in the head. During his arrest, Futrell spat on an officer.

Unlicensed Archangel Security Guard Anthony Sloan charged with drugs & gun at BNA

Airport Police made contact with 28-year-old Anthony Sloan, who was manning a controlled gate at an outside construction area of the Nashville International Airport for Archangel Protective Services. During the conversation, Sloan reportedly had a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle he was sitting in. Inside the vehicle, officers found 2.4 ounces (68 grams) of loose marijuana flower in the back seat within a large plastic bag which the officer believes was the type used to package marijuana by the pound. A handgun was located in a bag in the front seat, along with a scale. The Tennessee Department of Commerce says Sloan applied for an unarmed security guard’s license on September 15th, which was denied based on a material misstatement on his application.

31-year-old Rebecca Lee Sealy, who describes herself as “dom fem” online, was jailed Tuesday after her husband, Ted Sealy, told police they were in the car together when she reached over and stuck two of her fingers in his mouth, pushing down on the back of his tongue, and coughed on him. Sealy reportedly recently tested positive for COVID-19, and her husband says she was purposefully coughing on him to spread the virus. Ted stated he felt assaulted and disrespected by his wife’s actions.

AirBNB guest Wesley Thompson screams “n-word” and other racial slurs at Nashville police & citizens

28-year-old Wesley Thompson was staying at a Nashville AirBNB Thursday night when an automobile accident occurred outside as a car crashed into a utility pole. The debris from the utility pole’s destruction landed on several nearby vehicles in a parking lot where Thompson was parked. Officers were at the scene when Thompson emerged from the house, irate that his truck was struck by the debris. He was heavily intoxicated, staggering when he walked, and yelling and screaming racial slurs, including the “n-word,” as loud as he could, according to responding officers. He was advised to go back inside as there was a live power line nearby. He continued to yell and scream the “n-word” and came outside while intoxicated and caused quite a disturbance. He was placed into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

56-year-old Grammy nominee Mary Holladay “Holly” Lamar was booked this week on 30 wildlife-related charges after agents from the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA), stemming from a search conducted in August of this year, during which 13 birds of prey were seized from her falconry, Wing Blade Falconry, in Whites Creek. In 2018, Lamar was charged and convicted in England for owning unregistered falcons and for having a dead falcon in her freezer, which was “half-eaten with its leg cut off.” She is banned from owning falcons or birds of prey in the UK.

Dominic Lambert arrested 3 times in 2 days after stalking woman who turned him down

32-year-old Dominic Eugene Lambert has now been arrested three times within 48 hours. We first covered him earlier this week when he continued to call, text, and harass Morgan Heath-Powers, who has an active order of protection against Lambert. The order of protection was granted after hundreds of calls, texts, and emails when he expressed a romantic interest in her, and she advised him she did not feel the same way.

After he posted a $2,000 bond on the initial arrest, he emailed her several more times, one of which talked about his new arrest and jail experience, “Thanks for that! I made new friends, had a new experience, got free food, and entertainment… it was pretty nice! I still adore you just as I have since I first met you and told Rohan I thought I might marry you.” He was then taken into custody for once again violating the order of protection and released on a new $3,500 bond.

While he was jailed this second time for violating the no-contact order, he used the recorded jail phone to call her five more times. Once that report was processed, a new warrant was issued for his arrest, charging him with aggravated stalking. He was arrested for the 3rd time late Wednesday afternoon on the felony charge and released on a new $10,000 bond.

29-year-old Andre Randle-Virgil was booked this week on an outstanding warrant charging him with felony theft of services. Police say he met with Kalvin Marquez, who was selling 8 pairs of Nike Air Jordans. They agreed to an exchange of $2,150 prior to the meeting. Andre handed Kalvin a thick envelope as the shoes were being placed into his car. As he fled the scene, Kalvin realized the envelope contained 100 one-dollar bills. Andre was identified by his license plate and confirmed in a photo lineup.

Adam Morris refuses to exit his Uber, faceplants onto the ground once he does

39-year-old Adam Michael Morris was arrested on December 2nd on West Eastland Avenue in East Nashville for public intoxication. Police say he refused to leave an Uber, prompting the driver to call police. After several attempts, Mr. Morris exited the vehicle but was unable to walk, and he fell directly onto his face, injuring himself when police told him to go to his nearby home. He was taken into custody to prevent further harm to himself, and was transported to booking.
