41-year-old James Denson is jailed in lieu of a $150,000 bond after being booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday, charged with the rape of a child. Officers responded to a middle school in Nashville after a 12-year-old disclosed to an investigator with the Department of Children’s Services she had been raped by her step-father at a local park after driving her there on his motorcycle, just days before his birthday earlier this month. Denson, who associates himself with several local ‘motorcycle/street bike clubs’ on his social media accounts, admitted to detectives that he drove her to a local Park, but requested a lawyer before answering any further questions. He remains jailed in restricted housing at DCSO.

| On November 16, 2021 Officers were called to a Middle School in Davidson County, TN for a report of sexual abuse involving a juvenile female. This case involves a current 12-year-old female juvenile victim, hereafter referred to as [JV], and a 41-year-old suspect. [JV] disclosed to Investigators with the Department of Children Services that she was penile/ vaginally raped by the defendant sometime between November 5-8, 2021. The victim described the suspect to be her stepfather. Detectives interviewed the defendant. The defendant waived his Miranda Rights and agreed to make a statement. Under Miranda, the defendant stated that he drove [JV] on his motorcycle to a park in Davidson County. The defendant stated he did not stop at the park and came right back to the residence. When asked about the sexual allegations with [JV] the defendant then stopped answering questions and requested an attorney. |
