The family of 99.7 WWTN’s Phil Valentine Monday morning posted on social media that the conservative talk radio host is gravely ill, and it will take a miracle for him to survive. He remains on life support at Williamson Medical Center, in need of ECMO, but not stable enough for transport. In addition to COVID-19, he is dealing with pneumonia, a secondary infection, irregular heart rate, AFIB, kidney failure, and uncontrolled blood pressure. The family has removed all health updates from public view.

Conservative talk-radio show host Phil Valentine remains hospitalized with COVID-19 at Williamson Medical Center, just outside of Nashville. His brother says Phil is “fighting for his life”, and this is likely to be resolved in a time frame of weeks, not days. The family is calling on everyone to please get vaccinated.
He was diagnosed with COVID-19 on July 9th, and has progressively gotten worse, having to be hospitalized over the weekend. Williamson County Medical Center confirmed his stay late Tuesday to Scoop: Nashville after many listeners noted his absence on-air, but his current condition wasn’t publicly available.

Phil contracted the Covid virus a little over a week ago & has since been hospitalized & is in very serious condition, suffering from Covid Pneumonia and the attendant side effects. He is in the hospital in the critical care unit breathing with assistance but is NOT on a ventilator. We’d ask that everyone please refrain from contacting him while he is in the hospital.Phil would like for his listeners to know that while he has never been an “anti-vaxer” he regrets not being more vehemently ‘Pro-Vaccine’, and looks forward to being able tomore vigorously advocate that position as soon as he is back on the air, which we all hope will be soon.Phil & his family would like for all of you to know that he loves ya’ll and appreciates your concern, thoughts & prayers more than you will ever know.Please continue to pray for his recovery and PLEASE GO GET VACCINATED!
