21-year-old Jacob Goin was charged with DUI Friday after police say drove off the shoulder of I-65 South only to hit a guardrail and cross back across the interstate to then hit the center wall before coming to rest in the left lanes of traffic. He told police had drunk “on and off” and blew a 0.242 BAC on the breathalyzer test.
Officer Bradley Nave responded to assist Officer Quigley with the DUI Investigation. Jacob Goin told police he had struck a pothole, and believed he was traveling North, not South, at the time of the crash.
Jacob Alan Goin, 21, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on 06/12, charged with driving under the influence. He is free on pre-trial release and is scheduled to appear in court in July.
