Shooting suspect shows up at hospital with gunshot wounds and stolen car

28-year-old Demerrius Beach was charged with 3 counts of aggravated assault and theft after two people at Skyline Hospital said he shot them, almost 2 weeks later he showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds of his own, in a stolen Honda.

On November 11th, Metro Nashville Police officers responded to Skyline Hospital in reference to Eric Jones and Marcus Ware arriving with gunshot wounds. Jones had been shot in both legs, his pelvic area, and arm. Ware had been shot in his leg. Jones told officers that the man who shot them goes by “Q” or “Ques.” He stated Demerrius “Ques” Beach got angry after he was refused entry inside when it was cold outside and Beach punched him in the face.

According to the affidavit, Jones attempted to leave with Ware to go to the store when Beach produced a handgun and fired multiple rounds at the vehicle. Jones realized he had been hit in both legs but Ware had been hit in one leg, so he drove them to Skyline Hospital. Jones picked Beach out of a lineup, identifying him as the man who shot them at 1312 Dickerson Pike. Angela Harper was also in the vehicle when the shooting took place, but she was not shot.

On November 21st, Metro Nashville Police officers were dispatched to Skyline Hospital located at 3443 Dickerson Pike when Demerrius Beach showed up with gunshot wounds. Per the report, Beach drove himself to the hospital in a 2012 Honda Accord that had been reported stolen. Due to the level of medication in Beach’s system from the hospital, the officers were unable to gather a statement in reference to the stolen vehicle.

On November 23rd, Demerrius Beach was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of aggravated assault, and theft. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $255,000 bond.
