55-year-old Deborah Simmons was charged with domestic assault after her boyfriend told authorities she came home intoxicated, cussed him out, and grabbed his neck and arm leaving red marks.
On December 5th, Metro Nashville Police Officers were dispatched to a home located at 324 Due West Avenue in regard to a domestic disturbance. According to the affidavit, around 11:00 p.m. the previous night Larry Holmes’ girlfriend Deborah Simmons came home intoxicated and became volatile.
Deborah started to cuss at Larry and he asked her to leave. Deborah responded by grabbing his neck briefly, then his left arm. Larry called the police causing Deborah to leave and she was gone by the time officers arrived. Officers noted seeing red marks on Larry’s body, consistent with his story.
On December 11th, Deborah Simmons was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was released on a $1,000 bond.
