Former employee caught on camera breaking restaurant windows with pumpkins, fire extinguisher

42-year-old Tony Pirtle was charged with vandalism after he was seen on security camera footage breaking the widows of Jasper’s restaurant with a fire extinguisher, rocks, and pumpkins.

On November 10th, Metro Nashville Police Officers responded to a disturbance at Jasper’s restaurant located at 1918 West End Avenue. According to the affidavit, Tony Pirtle was employed at the establishment for several hours on October 27th before being fired the same night. He returned to the business to be paid on November 9th but was asked to leave.

The next day, November 10th, Tony showed up again in an agitated state. He threw a fire extinguisher, large rocks, and even pumpkins at the windows of the restaurant, breaking them. There were multiple witnesses to the incident which was also caught on security footage. The estimated damage to the property was $3,450.

On November 30th, Tony Pirtle was arrested and charged with vandalism. He was freed on pre-trial release.
