Lebanon woman charged when boyfriend says she bit his thigh after begging him not to leave

31-year-old Janeane Furness was charged with domestic assault after her boyfriend told police she grabbed his legs during an altercation and begged him not to leave, then bit his thigh when he tried to get away.

On November 17th, Metro Nashville Police officers were dispatched to the Apollo Apartments at 850 Richards Road in response to a domestic disturbance. Richard Ova told officers that he and his girlfriend, Janeane Furness, had been in a verbal altercation.

He attempted to walk away from her and she followed him outside. Janeane reportedly grabbed his legs, begged him not to go, and bit him on his thigh when he tried to leave. There were visible bite marks on his leg, and she was determined to be the primary aggressor.

Janeane Furness was arrested and charged with domestic assault causing bodily injury. She was later released on a $1,500 bond.
